Then he's stupid. He's been buried as a face in recent months. A heel turn is needed before he is unover as he was when he came out with messy hair, slapping hands and doing that frogsplash cross body as a finisher. I don't think Orton is doing himself favors, so I think WWE will turn him heel anyways, against his wishes.

I have the book, actually. USA actually felt that Viacom was unfairly winning the bidding by offering various avenues that WWE could get into, like a book deal with the publishing company owned by Viacom, a primetime network special on a Viacom-owned channel, etc. USA had no way of matching those added incentives, and thus sued WWE to keep them on USA. They lost the case, obviously (or dropped the suit, either way they came out the losers). Hence the bad blood. Though USA is at fault too, for refusing to agree to not preempt Raw for the dog show.

I don't doubt that. I wasn't speaking in realistic terms (I know Vince won't ever let the price drop). I was speaking in idealistic terms.

He got it from the fact that Fox won't negotiate with WWE. Like I said, source? I didn't ask for a parrot to repeat what was already said. If you had read the thread before posting, you would have seen a source. And I didn't ask for a moron to not bother to read all of a thread before mouthing off. The point remains, Fox doesnt want WWE at this point. Now like I said earlier, if Vince was willing to sell his shows for a cheaper rate, then maybe more networks would talk with him, but he is basically demanding 2000 money for 1995 quality.

did you personally pick the two for Tom? I think auto-picks should not be the top possible picks, but rather maybe the 5th best possible pick of each position... just my opinion.

McMahon is the poor man's McNabb. Got a good monopoly on semi-scramblers, I see. I'd always compared to him to being the poor man's Favre, funny enough. Guess he doesn't have a strong arm, then. When I saw McMahon vs the Bears, McMahon was all scrambles. In no way did I go "That's a Favre, ladies and gentlemen."

unless the best year was so far out of left field (no pun intended... ok maybe it was) then I assume he'd revise that. However, you said Greenberg had a solid year as a LF, so go for it.

If Vince let his shows be shown for a cheaper rate, then there would be more buyers, but with the figures Vince is looking for in a TV deal at this point, no.
-
Wouldn't Al be more likely to use his more consistent stats (accumulated as a 1B) than one year where he was a LF?
-
Honestly he shouldn't have drafted two straight first basemen anyways. A lesson to learn, I guess.

No, I asked already. I assume you might have to convert one of them to a different position, but that's a death knell, I think.

Well yes, the oil crash is beginning. -
What the hell does a West Coast-passing style team want with a slow and plodding running back?

Just so I don't accept credit that isn't due to me.

Uhh. No- see, b/c the championship on Raw is called the World Championship, not the WWE. exactly and besides, Eric signed the contract and left the challenger's name blank. Edge couldn't cash it in anyways on smackdown. My idea works best because it instantly gives Edge a program on smackdown with a top face like Eddy or even Cena if he comes in and blames the smackdown roster for causing him to lose his destiny. He's going to feud with Cena or Eddy right anyways, why not have a more deeper reasoning as opposed to "see, i won the right to face the world champion of raw, but i got traded. so im gonna use this card here". The problem is, they shouldn't be developing complicated and complex storylines for something as simple as "Winner gets a title shot", they are just not good at that kind of thing, so yes, they should stick to "Winner gets a title shot, gets traded and uses the title shot stipulation on the other show". If they could do it for Benoit and the Rumble (yes I know the Rumble was interpromotional, but fact remains, it can be done here). If they are going to go around what you perceive to be a Raw-exclusive title shot based on the words "world title shot" to include a Smackdown title shot, they will do it with no problem.

That's why I'm stockpiling on pitchers.

Uhh. No- see, b/c the championship on Raw is called the World Championship, not the WWE. Guess you don't get the point and rather get caught up in the semantics, so I won't really bother to re-explain my point. I will just say, "Just wait and watch." Edge WILL win and WILL go to Smackdown and challenge Cena or the champion at the time.
-
Doesn't matter. "World title shot" can be used to refer to a WWE title shot.
-
.....or Edge uses his stipulation ON Smackdown vs Cena... a lot more simpler this way.
-
Seattle shouldn't even use the Dolphins' pick on a RB. I'd say they go after a defensive player or WR.
-
Edge's going to win it and get drafted to Smackdown.

As long as I get to pick sometime tomorrow, I'll be fine.
