I don't think we're going to see Cena's Writer for the rest of the night...
-
I can do Sunday.

More widely known by people in their late teens to early twenties. not to mention Nolan does have the record for career strikeouts and Randy Johnson is close if not in Nolan's range for strikeouts. This probably factored in the picks.
-
Wildly inconsistent? His numbers over the past 4 seasons: 2004 368 carries, 1736 yards, 4.7 ypc, 16 TDs 2003 326 carries, 1435 yards, 4.4 ypc, 14 TDs 2002 295 carries, 1175 yards, 4.0 ypc, 16 TDs 2001 309 carries, 1318 yards, 4.3 ypc, 14 TDs If that's wildly inconsistent I'd hate to see what consistent is. As far as Seattle making out like bandits in the deal, I fail to see how aquiring one of the best running backs in football is such a bad thing. Cedric Benson or whomever Seattle would end up drafting might end up being great, but Alexander already is. I'll take as close to a sure thing as you can get over the crap shoot of the draft any day. I rather have a player who WANTS to be on my team.

To combat Boston Beaneaters and Pawtucket Red Sox's feared pitching duo, Las Vegas has chosen P George "Tom the Terrific" Seaver

KingPK's next pick will be: I'll let him announce it. Hurry up PK though.

With a stable manager that doesn't get fired every few months, Abyss would be a terrific main event talent. The fans still want to see Raven complete his destiny. It's all that's keeping him there. It gives him a new direction to do as well besides whipping the booker's son with the rope. Ron Killings, if he returned to his heel persona that made him a star in the first place, I don't see a problem using him as a main eventer.
-
I'm up for a chat too. I wish this would hurry up.
-
I heard his OBP wasn't that great. It was either Satchel or Aaron for me though. I took Satchel.
-
Ok, it sounds like you know your stuff. I just thought that those career record number of strikeouts would come in handy.

Well a few people here actually chose a player who plays a position worse than a player not chosen (see: Randy Johnson, no offense to Harley). If you mean Hornsby, I realize he's not #1 defensively, but few second basemen are better hitters and that's generally what I was looking for. In the 1920s, during his prime, he was the National League's answer to Babe Ruth. No, I was mainly referring to Harley, scolding him on taking Randy over Nolan Ryan.
-
No Killings? Raven? Abyss?
-
Either way, Ryan was a good pick. I'm surprised he lasted this long, it's sad that it was taken on an "oops its my turn, I pick uh..." moment.
-
As well as the time. Who knows how much longer either man got? Better do it when the chance is there.
-
Too late. He called it. Ryan is a good pick anyways.

Well a few people here actually chose a player who plays a position worse than a player not chosen (see: Randy Johnson, no offense to Harley). My reasoning was: Johnson has a career 11.12 K/9 and has averaged almost 200 innings a season. He also has a career 3.2 K/BB ratio, which should surely help. When he was on top of his game, he was putting up sub 2.50 ERA's in a fairly extreme hitters era. You really think Randy wouldnt have lasted you til the 4th pick of the 2nd round?
-
Al actually advised me to take Charleston, but I was stupid to think only he would know about Charleston and that it'd be safe to hedge my bets and take him in the second round, but not only did you take him, you took him before I could even use my first pick on him. Good move, Treble.

-
And only 10 more til its my turn again.... hurry up guys! Out of the people here that has ALREADY drafted your first player, any regrets or are you guys happier than pigs in shit with your pick? I'm already second guessing mine, but Satchel should pull through.
-
For some reason I expect LooneyTune to name A-Rod or Derek Jeter, the way this modernity upswing has gone.
-
In a move to build one of the deadliest pitching rotation ever, the first round pick as by Las Vegas 51s, proudly belongs to Leroy Robert "Satchel" Paige. Presenting the stage to KingPK for his pick now...
-
Too bad it wasn't the linebacking corp that needed the help.
-
It's just a mock draft. I can go 4 rounds.
-
No I think Dr.Tom PMed Al his pick. We just gotta wait and see.

Matt Hardy speaks on he and Lita splitting
USC Wuz Robbed! replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
Edge should win the title on Monday. He showed Matt who Lita really was and saved him from a mistake.
