But some players do better than others in game-closing situations. I agree for the most part its luck that they make the shots or hit the home runs or throw the TD passes or even shoot a goal, but there are just some players that THRIVES on being the "clutch" player because they are the type that does the best when all pressure is on them.

Question. When and will we finally see Daviari make his wrestling debut in the WWE instead of being a quasi-Jimmy Hart 2005, who just screams random comments outside the ring. Might not have to wait too long (til Mania) as the rumor now is Benoit/Jericho vs Hassan/Daivari.

Does it really matter? What's done is done. Time to move on, I say.

Who in their right mind would trade ED REED for Randy Moss? Reed is clearly a defensive star in the NFL, a rarity these days. There's a lot of receivers who can come close, if not actually replicate, Randy's numbers. The choice is clear IMO.

How close is the WWE close to tanking?
USC Wuz Robbed! replied to Epic Reine's topic in The WWE Folder
No that's what Shane will likely do. -
I suggest you mimic the real Patriots by wearing down defenses with a slow offense that simply moves the ball at will. Or just keep asking Madden.

Why is it so hard to spell Houshmandzadeh?

You can order Papa John's online but that's not really the same thing...

Yeah... the title says it all. Out of the slew of the DVD sets that has been coming out and will be coming out based on classic TV shows, which do you collect the most or which do you intend to collect the entire series of? Me: Law and Order: Criminal Intent, Cheers and Seinfeld.

Err... Big Show put over Brock a lot more often than Brock did Big Show. Though I see your point. Well, Brock was being pushed as "The Next Big Thing". I don't think seeing the Next Big Thing jobbing to The Big Job(which he was losing to Jeff Hardy) would be a smart business move Hell, he just went over UT "in his match" for crying out loud before jobbing to Big Show. It's basic booking though. Even if the plan wasn't for Big Show to win the title at SSeries, the heel should win the first match of a PPV series, and then Brock won virtually every match they had since then. So even though "The Next Big Thing" shouldn't be putting over "The Big Job" as you call him, the fact he did is the reason Show was able to credibly put over Brock all of 2003.

Meh, it's not beneath me to make tasteless jokes about this, I'd do it, but eh, what is there to joke about?

The only recent live musical segment I can remember is Fozzy. I do think Motorhead did play though in 2004. -
Orton vs. Undertaker at WrestleMania?
USC Wuz Robbed! replied to Matt Young's topic in The WWE Folder
The story was reported by Matt Boone who was infamous over on prowrestling.com for making up stories. -
It's not the Big Show's fault Hulk vs Brock at SSeries never happened. Hogan IIRC refused to job to Brock because he already had earlier in the summer. I don't know if I necessarly blame Hogan all that much for not wanting to get into another losing program with Brock. the angle was pretty much ended and Brock all but totally squash Hogan and urinated on whatever embers were left of Hulkamania. Too get into a comeback angle only too receive the same outcome might be counter productive, besides doing it once was truly enough it snapped people into attention that the Legend pretty much was crushed and Brock was now the present and what we thought, the future I think the squash was WWE's way of telling him to fuck off after he refused to job to Brock at SSeries.

Jets are better off trying to get Franks or Jermaine Wiggins.

I'm the Chicago-raised Bears fan in Southern California. Should I like Losman or hate him?
-
Good games also, but not a type of game I would enjoy on a personal level (no good passing offenses).

According to what I heard, it's no one that really has much going on in WWE for him (read: jobber), and the jobber's complaining to the management over Ace's interference is the reason for all this fuss, not the actual cheating. Take that with a grain of salt if you were worth anything more than an internet sheep (no offense to the internet sheeps here)
-
I take it back. If Losman IS the next Favre, the Bills has a hell of a QB in the wings when Bledsoe wears out his welcome/retires/gets cut/whichever is more humiliating and appropriate for him.

Yes, Rhyno is the one with balls to complain about the head road agent/assistant to McMahon.

Booker v Heidenreich at NWO? What great build!! Meltzer was right, so I guess they've been planning this match since last week when they realized they had a PPV coming up with no matches booked for it. I guess the WWE forgot part of the reason they switched to split brand PPVs was to give Raw extra time to build up to theirs. Edited for WWE accuracy.
