I liked San Diego vs Denver both games this past year. Just because they both were heavily competing for the AFC West crown and I totally thought San Diego would lose both games. Luckily they split to give San Diego the title.

Smackdown and Velocity spoilers from Cleveland
USC Wuz Robbed! replied to JoeDirt's topic in The WWE Folder
Well, they have to make the fans think that Big Show will win on Sunday so they'll actually buy the PPV. Why go that extra mile? Everyone knows Batista isn't EVEN going to face the SD champion, and everyone knows JBL is walking out of No Way Out with the strap. It's as obvious as HHH winning the title every time he challenges for it. -
Losman never looked like anything but a future big bust to me. He just doesn't seem to have the NFL mentality. In fact in his training camp diary thing I read last summer, he sounded like he had no clue about the NFL offense he was about to run. Though it'd be interesting if he proves me wrong. You can't judge a guy from what he writes in a fluff piece like a diary though. He's got a cannon of an arm and he has a great surrounding, it would be hard for him to fail. I'm pretty sure he's more mobile than Drew, but that can't be that hard. Before the draft I had heard NOTHING about J.P. Losman, only til a few days before the draft, when people were hyping prospective picks, did I learn about JP, and I went back to some of his college games, he does NOT impress me, quite frankly. That's why I said all that above, but I wouldn't be adverse to him proving me wrong though. The Bills are one of the teams I pull for out of pity.

WM21 to be Kurt Angle's Final Match?
USC Wuz Robbed! replied to QuestionMan's topic in The WWE Folder
You're right, it's not a choice at all. You go out at SummerSlam v. Cena, because then it actually matters and helps build someone up. Giving a retirement rub to a guy who is on the verge of retirement himself is beyond retarded. I would hate to see Angle's last match be with Michaels. Plus, like someone mentioned, there's good backstory with Angle and Cena, and if anything can legitimize Cena as a top guy it's not going over JBL, it's being the guy to retire Kurt F'n Angle (see: HHH/Mick Foley) But this is all based on one man's speculation anyway, so I'm not putting any stock in it yet. For some reason I think retiring Angle wouldn't be as a big deal as Foley's was or Taker's will be if done correctly. -
I'm working on getting Live. When I figure out how to arrange the furniture so the modem can reach the Xbox, I'd join in a heartbeat.

Why are baseball numbers so "treasured"
USC Wuz Robbed! replied to Steve J. Rogers's topic in Sports
There is a reason baseball is called the American Pastime. -
I got six reasons: HBK vs. Rey Mysterio HBK vs. RVD HBK vs. Angle HBK vs. Eddie Guerrero HBK vs. Paul London 1......2.......3........4........5...... Maybe he wants them all in one match too....

Brees does have WRs, it's just that he doesn't like to throw to them as much as he does Gates and Tomlinson.

Why are baseball numbers so "treasured"

Career Passing Yards: 61, 361 (Dan Marino) Career Rushing Yards: 17,418 (Emmitt Smith) Career Sacks: 200 (Bruce Smith) Career Receiving TDs: (still going now thanks to Jerry Rice still playing but at last count, 197) You're not asking the right people if you can't find anyone who knows this stuff. Some hardcore fans know the football records as much as baseball fans do the baseball records. It all depends on if you care enough to know. FYI, there are plenty of people that maintain Deacon Jones with "Too many to count!" is still the "unofficial" sack leader! Steve That may be so, but this is official records. 200 is what is recorded as the most sacks in a career. Deacon's is probably like the Mania 93,000 figure, just a myth. -
Why bother drafting Losman if they think Bledsoe is the QB for them?
-
Like an earlier tidbit stated, Garcia wants back in San Francisco though Miami and some other teams (Maybe Arizona) have inquired about his services.

Has the Undertaker ever put anyone over cleanly?
USC Wuz Robbed! replied to Prophet of Mike Zagurski's topic in General Wrestling
Mankind actually defeated Taker in the Buried Alive match, thanks to the debut of The Executioner coming out and aligning himself with Foley. -
Umm...ok, why? So who is their quarterback? Do they have one? If they sign Akli Smith and Ryan Leaf, I'll run out and buy a Browns hat. I guess they got their eye on one of the rookie QBs coming out for the draft.

I see Freddie getting some demand in the offseason. He is now a name receiver (albeit for all the wrong reasons), and a lot of teams are in need for a receiver. I see him donning a NFC South team jersey or NFC West.
-
Not to mention Rey's one of the last few opponents HHH wanted to work with and haven't had the chance to.
-
Chargers are expected to franchise tag Drew Brees according to CBS Sportsline. Personally this is the right move, IMO. Drew still needed at least another year of proving himself before having the club commit to him long-term over Rivers.

Technically RVD and Edge were the biggest to switch at draft time last year.

I can't say I've experienced that, only because I always played as opposed to simming.

Its not possible to put logos on the uniforms in the uniform modifier section of the Franchise. The only way to put logos on is if you relocate and changed the uniforms because of the move. There is no logo editor in Create-A-Uniform. You can only modify/change the logo if you create a team or relocate.
-
I find they only allow generic logos on the helmets. So if I were to create a new Cardinals uniform, I'd have to use the generic Cardinal logo instead of the official Cards NFL logo. And you cannot create an expansion. You can only relocate, rebuild or renovate the stadiums/teams.

Arizona: Indianapolis: Dallas: New York Jets: Minnesota: New Orleans (my personal fave look): Yeah.... discuss.

They left in 1960. They precede the Chicago Bulls. I thought you were a fair-weather Chargers fan. I'm both. There are a lot of teams I respect. Teams I'd root over others. Bears, Chargers, Cards, and a few others...
