Wouldn't getting rid of guys in the middle of their contracts cause cap penalties? Or is KGB's contract up?
-
Packers are over the salary cap though. They can't afford Samari.

Super Bowl XXXIX discussion thread
USC Wuz Robbed! replied to therealworldschampion's topic in Sports
I think usually you have a week's break between the conference title game and the Super Bowl. This was decided likely based on when the Super Bowl was and when the regular season concludes, and then planning the playoff schedule accordingly. That's what I think anyways. -
What about Samari Rolle? I think he'd be a better pickup than 30+ year old Derrick Mason.

Maybe this element they took from MLB, developing your players to be "NBA-ready". For instance you have your minor leaguers in MLB that you're developing to be MLB-ready. It's possible that since NBA doesn't have the luxury of development leagues (at least none that is not associated with NCAA or a legitimate league unlike the NBA summer leagues), that they develop the players differently, some by pushing out on the court before they're ready and learning on the spot or riding the bench and coming off as 6th man or 7th man to take in a learning experience without it being at the expense of the team.

On another note, Dama, I notice you're approaching the 10,000 post mark.....

Not if they dont find a suitable replacement.

Nothing. I just thought there was a certain curriculum the nation has to adjust to. I mean, its not fair for some states to teach more than the others. It in no way or form was designed to offend you, Damaramu. I just want America to beat 11 other countries that are currently ranked ahead of them in literacy. READ.

Wow those books you listed as required reading for 11-12th grade, I HAD to read for 8th grade.... *shakes head*

Grapes of Wrath, DUH!

Count me as one of the ones who got fed up and didnt play very far.

Actually Pauly Shore is underrated. You just made me think he was dead.

God is it so irritating trying to post on tsm on a fucking tmobile sidekick... Oh yeah fuck you Banky, wasting my time with misleading titles :/

I guess they figured it was either a good story or they just wanted their own Doom project but using a little-known game instead.
-
Nowhere do you mention Dorff.... is he a small time player in this movie?
-
Well until Sosa decides he's had enough and leaves the team in middle of a hot game vs Yankees or Red Sox that could decide their postseason hopes.... call me crazy, but I wouldn't want Sosa on my team (not even the Sosa that had just popped 60+ homers for three straight years).
-
Apparently not....
-
At least he'd be coming home, considering he's a native Chicagoan (and I use that term LOOSELY)
-
Well Sosa would be coming in with a lot of baggage. Not to mention his contract doesnt look too attractive to many teams.

I think NBA's moneyball principles are a bit different than MLB's. Some of the elements remain, some are omitted. Minor leagues are omitted from NBA's moneyball principles I would assume, and factoring in something else that wasnt there in MLB's principles.

Imagine.... all these years, and no championships to speak for of the Cardinals (Super Bowl era anyways, I know they won some titles in the 20's.)
-
I'd actually put wings on the sleeves, but that's just me.
-
If I do have the Chargers, I'd be willing to entertain any offers for my two first round picks (Picks 11 and 20ish something I believe)....
-
Maybe they are serious about a playoff push? As a uniform adjustment usually spells moderate to immense success (Seahawks last year and Titans in 1999)
-
On Madden I always redo the Cardinals' uniforms and logo (the meaner Cardinal logo in the generic logo section) maybe the actual team will go with two-tone uniforms like the Titans or a sleeker red and less usage of white and more of black, and they should be good to go.
