In terms of college sports, verbal commitments are almost as good as a written one. Once you give a verbal commitment to a team, they think they got you locked up and they move on to other recruiting prospects. Once you back out of it, they are forced to scramble to find a suitable replacement.

Yes Wrestlemania XIX is pretty much like No Mercy in terms of the grappling engine. It even has a shopzone and all. Now if they had a fun storyline mode like No Mercy, all's kosher.

I normally just sling the ball out to a receiver. I usually pick a shotgun play, then I scramble til I find an open guy. Works for me all the time. As for the offensive playbook, I can't go wrong using the Tennessee playbook.

Thank you. I'm thinking it was defective. And last night when I took the HCTP out of the console I was shocked to see DEEP scratch marks on the CD and it wasn't there when I popped it in. I tried Madden 2004, and same, DEEP scratch marks. I am quite baffled.

I am suspecting HCTP is responsible. Ever since I played HCTP, my PS2 has started freezing up on me. Now it freezes up on other games too. And for the past week, it won't even read a damn DVD or PS2 disc. Tonight I came to terms with it and I called it dead.

We played top ranked teams. However I decided to simulate the rest of the season to give myself a general idea of how I would fare in the rankings. I actually rose to #2 even losing a game. So the future is actually bright for the actual season (as I didnt save the simulations.) So far we are 7-0. ranked 9th in the nation.
