I think Turner Gill is more likelier to go to a Big East school, like Louisville if they fire Kragthorpe or West Virginia if they do the same to Stewart.

Hear that sound? That's the other shoe dropping on Ball State. Now, it's not over, and they probably come back, but no way do they have an argument for anything beyond the Motor City Bowl.

Yes. The 12 hour period has been in effect for YnA since the Diggler pick, which means YnA has about 11 hours to post his. CBright owes us 1 more selection, which he may make at any time. Yuna_Firerose owes us two selections which she may make at any time. Other than that, everyone is bound to the 12 hour rule. Though if Yuna fails to make a single selection by the time this round reaches her, she will be eliminated from the draft. CBright was on the chopping block, but he earned himself a brief stay with the Howard Beale selection, but he will be removed if he fails to make a single selection by Round 5.

Lovely. Welcome back.

TSM, CBSSportsline, email service, Prowrestlingonly.com sometimes, and that's it.

You are still "in turn" as long until you catch up which by my count, you owe us one more selection before you're back in the same groove as everyone.

DMann, the updated list is in the first post.

I'm down with that. Just for the record, I don't have a problem with Damaramu. Just, this stuff gets old quick.

Why? They're practically taking over the sports world and have a very big influence on what the rest of the media and the average joe fan thinks. And you wonder why people here look down on you? If you can't give us credit for formulating our own thoughts on things in the sports world without relying on ESPN, I don't know what to tell you. Wow way to jump to conclusions. Quit assuming what I'm saying. I never said anyone here is influenced by what they say. However because so many people are what they say pisses me off and I want to mention it in the college football thread (since it is cfb related) to see if people agree or disagree or have any thoughts. I'm not trying to start up anything. I understand what you're trying to do, but when most people here are telling you to knock it off, that means they are probably not interested. And hell some other posters just repeated what I said, so that should tell you something. I mean it's really like this: You: "Hey listen to what these morons are saying! Blah blah" Others: "They're just morons. Ignore it." You: "But they are so important, we need to listen!"

If they book him as a guy that says he loves the WWE, they might as well just give WWE their money and close their doors.

Saddam Hussein wrote the US a Letter

Fair enough. And I can't stick up for Brody when I'm the one who made the retard comment in the other thread directed at Brody. -
Oh my bad. Point is, don't bring ESPN here, please.

And shouldn't the ombudsman work with the posters instead of being antagonistic towards them? And now before you claim another "Oh Porter's just bitter", I am referring to your treatment of most posters in general, not just myself. -
Sorry, he only sent me the movie character picks.

I was gonna get in on this yesterday, but as soon as I saw 6foot9 take this man, the draft was already over. What is with people declaring drafts to be over just because their favorites are taken? TheFranchise is an idiot, just ignore him and carry on. While I quoted him, it wasn't REALLY directed to TheFranchise. I've seen this said in the movie character draft after Pumaman was taken too. Pretty sure when somebody takes Antarctica in the country draft, somebody will pop in to say that.

Also, I'd tell the people waiting on Zoidberg, if you guys are not going to be available for the duration, why don't you guys simply PM OOG your 3 picks? That would seem to make sense rather than hopping a picker just to make the selection.

MVP=/=HOF. With the MVP you have a bunch of deserving candidates year in and year out. With a 1st ballot Hall of Famer like Rickey Henderson or Greg Maddux, no. They're in, so don't waffle on it.

Chris Nolan should get Best Director nomination too, after all, he did turn a comic book film into an Oscar-worthy picture and got some great performances out of just about everyone.
-
Yeah Oldman was awesome as well, but Ledger and Eckhart carried the film. Eckhart moreso for the fact he had to play BOTH the perfect hero AND the perfect villain/anti-hero all in two hours and make it all work. It's, in my opinion, much easier to play the same sort of character all film long, even as chaotic as the role is.

You can name 120 QUALITY comedians?
-
Ok on Dr. Zoidberg's behalf he selects: Johnny Boy and Norman Stansfield
-
120 actually, and yeah it's a tough challenge.

WWE General Discussion - December 2008
USC Wuz Robbed! replied to DrVenkman PhD's topic in The WWE Folder
I thought the same thing after I read that. The statement implies that Hogan should win the belt more often. That said, it's hardly as if Triple H is JBL here. He was the primary heel during the WWE's most successful run (1999-2001). -
I think you'll be fine BlackFlagg. Maybe you won't get your super awesome comedians, but you're in much better position for Round 2 than KOAB would be, as I can't even think of 15 great comedians, let alone 24.
