Canada had something to do with it, but the rest of your post, to me, is accurate and also supercedes where it was. I know this is a continually-beaten, long-dead horse, but it's not like he didn't offer options or anything. It's not like he said "I'm keeping my title, and that's that." No. Hart would job to HBK, just not in Canada. So it was both factors. HBK in America? Sure. HBK in Canada? No. Anyone else? Probably.

If WB sold the right to Watchmen to Fox, then sure, they have a case. But if not, if someone else did, it wasn't theirs to sell, therefore ownership should remain with WB. And I would imagine a big studio like Warner Brothers would check first to see if they owned the rights to a movie they were producing.

It shouldn't matter. WB already owns DC. Just show up, point to this fact, and watch the suit get thrown out faster than the Comedian gets thrown out of his window.

WWE also gives you more of a reason to care about their wrestlers, therefore their matches seem more important.

There's the more obvious angle of Kozlov gunning for the U.S. title, a title that is more suited for a guy in his position and push.

So just because they atoned for their share of the grief they caused him, Taker should forgive them? He's not the type that does that. They are probably progressing through the entire family. Edge did say they would go to hell with him. Taker's merely obliging.

Comments which don't warrant a thread.

I'm not sure if I'm CS or Judd... -
First of all, you can have a hell in cell match without blood if you have them portraying real hate. Second of all, both men DID bleed. Just not in the head or in the Muta scale fashion.

I don't agree with what Russo is doing here but I can see why he is. In real life, everyone is not really cut from one cloth or another. Everyone in life have their motivations, their strengths that endear themselves to others and flaws that might turn others off from them. The problem is, pro wrestling is supposed to be an escape from our real life problems or issues or whatever, and it's a release. To see people like ourselves on TV, but exaggerated, isn't going to fly.

So Pacman Jones to the Falcons would be a horrible match, eh?

Everyone says a dumb thing at one point or other. Get over it.

Even with a short wall, Adamle should certainly see Cena walking by if he was coming directly in front of him to the side. No superpowers needed here, sorry folks!

Sorry for bringing the size argument, but considering where they wrestle, you are telling me you expected Punk to beat DAVE BATISTA clean? Vince would have to lose all control of WWE for that to happen.
-
Super Moron Bros?
-
Awesome.
-
I'd take Grossman over McNown too.
-
With the scramble, I'd expect Punk to lose the belt somehow, then he wins it back at some point during the match, only for someone like Batista or Cena to win it in the closing minutes.

The Bears won't be THAT bad. Their offense was HORRIBLE and they still managed to win 7 games with a few more that they could have just as easily won.

Speaking of Niger and grade school, in the sixth grade I had this Social Studies teacher who had this computer that would ask a currents events related question for the day, and the first kid to answer correctly would get a sourball candy. Well one day one of the questions asked about an African country and something, so I made up a guess, that being "Niger". This stupid chinese kid saw what I typed and tried to tattle on me, thinking I was trying to say "nigger", but misspelling it. I had to explain that I was actually saying "Niger", the country. The teacher put the kid in his place after that. Oh for those wondering, it was the wrong answer anyways. The right answer was Nigeria. Go figure.

Wrong. Edge/Taker last night blew anything TNA did out of the water. At least for 2008. And that includes the Angle/Joe Lockdown match.
-
Not to mention this Unforgiven match, isn't that going to devalue the title since you can be sure to see at least TWO title changes?
-
I watched Raw just now (West Coast and all). I saw a small group of fans in the front row pop for Jericho's win over Punk. I don't think EVERYONE was that heartbroken. Now I already said it devalues the title with the "bad sign" remark, but my point is that the booking lately has caused me to not care as much about CM Punk as they have caused me to care about Chris Jericho. Jericho's so hot right now as a heel that you almost feel like he should have just steamrolled over Punk instead of winning in the fashion he did.
-
Who cares? At this point I care more about what they do with Jericho than I do Punk... a bad sign for their title, yes, but oh well.

You don't know who Andre Johnson is? Wow.
