Then you should have picked him first... Devin Hester was on my radar since the first round. I just didn't find the value in a guy with two years in the league being picked yet.

Cade was seen attacking HBK alongside Jericho, and you want him teaming with HBK?

Need a TE, seeing that my original choice for last round was taken- Ozzie Newsome, TE edit: my bad.

Thanks for making it less possible to take him now if that comment reminds someone else to take him. Really, who cares? I'm giving those people who loves defense one less spot to worry about taking their players with. Hardly a winning strategy, but I'm an offensive oriented fan and would prefer an explosive PASSING offense. While Don Coryell isn't the best coach, can anyone really dispute him as the coach for the offensive-minded passing team?

Yes I know. And? If nothing else, they'd be a worse version (in terms of wins) of the Greatest Show on Turf historically. And if you think I'm going to stand pat with Riggins, you're in for a surprise.

    Video Game Desert Island draft

Wright is awesome, and it's a game you could have picked fifth round (to Luke-o). I mean you were griping about most of the games you like being gone by your second pick. You wouldn't be complaining if you picked those games instead of Phoenix Wright.

At least I mentioned that Phoenix Wright and Double Dash were worse picks, but yeah that's true. I can understand that line of thinking. Luke-o's reasoning is less defendable.

Mario Galaxy is a severe reach. It wasn't even a first round level game. edit: Though not as bad as Phoenix Wright being picked or Mario Karts Double Dash.

Jerry Manuel? Really? Have fun with that, Mets fans.

I would like to select either a running back or a tight end to complete the offensive attack (line not included), but I thought that in order to maximize the talents on the team, I'd need a coach who knows how to get the best out of his players. He's hardly a top 5 coach but he is just the right man for this particular team- Don Coryell, head coach (1973-1986)

    Video Game Desert Island draft

Youth N Asia said that the Zelda game he selected was the best Zelda game ever... well I have to politely disagree as I make my first selection: Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, 1998 (N64) Just a fantastic debut on the N64 and probably led to the disappointment of Majora's Mask with its hard to replicate greatness. I'm simply stunned it lasted this long. My second selection- Resident Evil 4, 2005 (PS2, GC, Wii)

The Third Man I was first exposed to the film in school, but I liked it so much I kept rewatching it during my free time. Orson Welles is fantastic here as the villain, and Joseph Cotten is pretty good in the main lead role.

To continue my offensive focus, I needed a receiver to line up opposite Don Hutson, for Dan Marino to look for. Who better than maybe the #2 receiver in Rice's era? With that said- Steve Largent, WR 3 time All Pro 7 time Pro Bowler Caught a pass in 177 straight games 50+ receptions each season for 10 years

Miami Dolphins never won a Super Bowl under the guidance of Dan Marino due to many years with a subpar running game. I won't make that mistake with Marino on my team. John Riggins, RB Yeah we all know who he is, so I'm not going to type his shit out, but those who wants to double check on him, http://www.profootballhof.com/hof/member.jsp?player_id=180

    Desert Island Draft: Movie Edition

One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest Not much of an explanation is needed, and instead of espousing what was so great about the film (because I suspect most of the people picking or viewing the thread knows this film and knows how good it is), and so I shall just quote the Nicholson character, McMurphy- "She was fifteen years old, going on thirty-five, Doc, and she told me she was eighteen, she was very willing, I practically had to take to sewing my pants shut. Between you and me, uh, she might have been fifteen, but when you get that little red beaver right up there in front of you, I don't think it's crazy at all and I don't think you do either. No man alive could resist that, and that's why I got into jail to begin with. And now they're telling me I'm crazy over here because I don't sit there like a goddamn vegetable. Don't make a bit of sense to me. If that's what being crazy is, then I'm senseless, out of it, gone-down-the-road, wacko. But no more, no less, that's it."

I debated on whether I should start my draft with a running back or a quarterback. After it was assumed (incorrectly) that Bored would take a certain Niner, I decided to take the only quarterback in 1985 to stop the Chicago Bears. Oh plus he had a couple of NFL records out of his career. Dan Marino, Quarterback Miami Dolphins, 1983-1999 2005 Hall of Fame Class member 9 Time Pro Bowler 3 Time First Team All Pro 7 Time Second Team All Pro 1984 NFL Most Valuable Player 2 Time Offensive Player of the Year (1984 and 1994) 1994 Comeback Player of the Year 1983 Rookie of the Year 61,361 career passing yards 420 career passing touchdowns
