USC Wuz Robbed!

So far the game looks fantastic. Reminds me of Day of Reckoning kinda with the graphics and the smooth flow.

I'm a father myself, so I wasn't a fan of the whole... well, you know, thing.

The ending sucked. Big time.

That one will happen, IMHO... Reggie is going to end up being converted to WR if he can't cut it between the tackles, which will leave Deuce and Pierre Thomas in the Saints' backfield. What about Antonio Pittman? And yeah Lendale White will have the better traditional RB career than Reggie Bush. I don't think that was ever doubted.

Oh another USC dig. How convenient. Truth is Jarrett came out too early. He needed an extra year at USC to really toughen up. As for how he is doing in the NFL, yeah he's not off to a good start to his career. He was hurt IIRC and just underachieving. Carolina has ZERO receivers outside of Steve Smith though. So yeah even if Jarrett had panned out, they'd need more receivers anyways. As for who is the current equivalent to Jerry Rice, I'd say Randy Moss when he is motivated or got Tom Brady throwing the ball to him. He plays tough and catches the short passes as well as the long bombs.

And kill the goodwill of OKC? Good idea! With the Hornets, they had Chris Paul. With the Sonics they have Kevin Durant. With the Bucks they have.... Michael Redd?

In hindsight, it was horrible. The Rock kept getting his ass handed to him... and got his ass handed to him at Mania. They're fortunate he is bulletproof. Otherwise that would just kill him.

Jericho has been sorta tweenerish for much longer than last week. He was acting heel in the Reel interviewing Jeff Hardy. He even acted heel against Punk in their post Mania Raw match. I think the best definition for him now is "tweener" who just happens to be the wildcard in the Shawn/Batista match. I suspect he was put in there for both Shawn and Batista to end up going to a non finish and having both guys hit their finishers on Jericho again. So that the program is extended and Jericho is... well, bitched out.

He is voicing his displeasure over how Joba is being handled, and I'm imagining he wants Mussina to switch to a style that might hide his deterioration (just a guess). You're right. I have a bad habit of thinking "Spread Option=Gimmick". Tim Tebow would fit in what I was thinking, but Dennis Dixon is a fine quarterback. We'll see how he does. That could be accomplished without calling people retarded though. So I'd guess Dixon's boning you or something if you're all butthurt over this.

Oh and Rip, are you watching the same game? The Lakers are winning by 16, even though Kobe Bryant hasn't really got into a shooting rhythm. This is mostly Gasol here. Someone said Camby is a bad defender. Well if that's true, that'd explain why Gasol is just going all off on the Nuggets.

Considering Bosh sat out most of the 2nd half, Ford/Calderon did NOTHING and the Magic shot 3's insanely good in the first half (something that won't happen regularily), the Magic winning by 14 is expected. All those factors going for Orlando will not happen every game. I'm not saying the Raptors are winning the NBA title or having any chance in round 2 but I am confident they will beat Orlando. It's not going to happen. Hate to burst your bubble, but Orlando has showed they can work a perimeter game (and I know it won't always work that well, but it can) and an inside game with Howard. I'm starting to think Chris Bosh turns into putty in the postseason. He gets soft all of sudden once the heat is turned up. It happened last year. It'll happen this year against Howard/Lewis.

You do need a running back to take the load off Matt Schaub though. But an OL wouldn't be the worst idea there either.

No, they've got to be happy everything about this game but the final result. Play like that on Tuesday night and they probably come home with a split. Unless of course, San Antonio plays like that on Tuesday as well. Seems like Phoenix/San Antonio is always good for a game to watch in the playoffs.

Denver doesn't stack up as well against Los Angeles as Golden State did against Dallas. Not to mention, for whatever reason, Dallas tried to play Golden State's type of game instead of the kind of game they had played the entire season. Remember that lineup change Avery Johnson made prior to Game 1? By the time they decided "Well shit, we should go back to our normal lineup" they were holding up much better, but it was just too late.

You're on the mark regarding how we transcend our names, but it's not really schizophrenic of me to change my name a lot, unless I was using word salads as new names, which actually isn't the worst message board idea I've ever had. Schizophrenia ≠ multiple personality disorder, and multiple personality disorder ≠ changing my name a lot because I'm always identified as me. I was kidding when I said that. I'm fully aware of the actual definition of schizophrenia.

Why did you request to be banned in the first place, Porter? Well at the time, I was getting tired of TSM, yet I couldn't stop coming to this place. So I wanted to be shot and put out of my misery metaphorically with a banning. But that feeling has long since subsided. So now I'm just enjoying my time here.
