    Upcoming Scott Keith Q & A Session

Who are they supposed to appeal to though? If you're just a fan of the WWE, the second and third books are just pages and pages of how much the WWE sucks and how evil HHH is. If you're more smartened up, you pretty much know every thing he's saying. People who likes to read what they already thought/knew all along? Don't ask me to explain his sales. I don't know who's buying his stuff. Certainly not non-wrestling fans or even casual wrestling fans.

    Upcoming Scott Keith Q & A Session

While I'd say this is a fair gripe in general, people forget this is largely a "fan's account" of what went down. I never got the sense that he put the burden of history on his shoulders. The books to me were just the expanded versions of any given internet rant he might give. And it's easier to deal with those books given that perspective.

    Shawn Michaels/Batista Program

Thought HHH didn't work Tuesdays? On a serious note, Edge doesn't want to work with HHH, and you'd be doing him a disservice pairing him up with someone he genuinely dislikes.

    Joe vs. Angle V

Yes, you've said this a thousand times, and people have explained why this cannot happen a thousand times.

    NFL Offseason Thread

Because an agent is the be-all, end-all bastion of truth. I don't believe the report myself, but citing the agent denying it doesn't really change anything.

    NFL Offseason Thread

He probably just wants to make sure he wants to be retired when June, July and August rolls around is my guess. And snuffbox, I can think of a few teams that would probably be a lateral, if not better, choice than Green Bay. The problem is those teams would probably not want a 38 year old QB that would come at a hefty price, both in what they'd have to give up in a trade and in the salary they'd have to pay him.

    AJPW Championship Carnival 2008 thread

Forgive me for sounding like an idiot that doesn't understand Japanese culture, but is it a good thing they keep putting the same "former" winners in this thing (and the Climax for NJPW as well) and they're the ones expected to win? Is Japan that loathe to put over new stars on a semi-regular basis?

    Shawn Michaels/Batista Program

With how most people are talking about Batista moving on to guys like HHH or Cena, I guess that means most of you think Batista should go over Shawn in the end?

    Shawn Michaels/Batista Program

One problem I have with what is otherwise a great storyline in theory is who should go over in the end? If Shawn wins, then what? If Batista wins, then what? You can sympathize with both sides, and yet you can vilify both sides as well. It might get a bit too sophisticated for the usual WWE fanbase. (Not that I personally find anything wrong with that, but it might not get over as well as one might think, beyond "Main eventer vs Main eventer of different brands" appeal)

    NFL Offseason Thread

If he wanted to come back, why look around for different teams? Doesn't he know he'd probably get vilified for leaving Green Bay for anywhere else other than back to his home in Kiln, Mississippi?

    Shawn Michaels/Batista Program

Why am I seeing this six months thing pop up in posts here? Do you guys honestly think they're going to stretch it out that long? The furthest I see the blowoff happening, if one exists, is Vengeance. I'd say if Flair is getting involved, it's in the next month, not in the summer, with how hurried the burn seems.

    Airbag/How Am I Driving?

I agree with Bob about the amount of mods being appointed and their correlation to going into an AIM chat.

    *Smackdown Spoilers*

I am actually more concerned with why Shawn was there after years of not wanting to go to Smackdown because of a Wednesday bible study? Does that mean his stance on that has softened?

    WWE Folder sucks dick

Dandy, the Town Hall was a fantastic idea, and as far as I know, you're the guy who started it off, so you deserve some credit for it.

    WWE Folder sucks dick

I should also point out that since it's Dandy and you making threads, it invites more smarter posters to get involved rather than seeing some schmuck making a thread titled "TNA INVASION?!"

    WWE Folder sucks dick

No. I'm making a good natured joke. I'm saying the difference is noticeable because you're separating what would be a tidbit in General Discussion last month into individual threads, but when you put it all together, nothing seems to change.

    WWE Folder sucks dick

It appears more busier now that threads are basically individualized rather than clustered into one mega thread. That must be the grand improvement. It's like Russo getting excited about 1.2 ratings.

Should Austin come back for one last match at Mania 25?

It's an odd argument to have. To argue that getting a rub from retiring Flair, to end Taker's streak, to retire Austin (though that's an odd notion in itself considering his wrestling schedule these days is nil) could be equivalent to the Chris Jericho "First Undisputed Champion" deal is to assume that WWE would fuck it up as bad as they did the Jericho reign. Now assuming they did not fuck it up, is there any question whether those events would be a huge rub to be given? I'd say there is no argument there.

    Undertaker's New Finisher

Especially Cena since he always does the STF-U poorly. It's not because he does it poorly that Cena shouldn't have a submission finisher. It's because he's a pure brawler. It's akin to giving Austin circa 1998/2001 a submission finisher (the circa 1998/2001 part is to counteract the inevitable "He did the Million Dollar Dream!" which actually didn't fit him as well).

    Undertaker's New Finisher

And he is generally paired up with guys he can't really pick up for the Tombstone. The chokeslam isn't really a death finisher for him and played out. I don't like a "deadman" using MMA moves, but I can see the reasoning for it.

    Wrestlemania IX

It wasn't until the KOTR that Bret won (after losing that title to Yokozuna) that people bought him as a semi-credible main event threat, by virtue of beating everyone in singles matches round by round in the tournament, and it wasn't until the Royal Rumble that people finally fully bought Bret as a main event threat, seeing him outlast most of the people in that match and being supposedly "screwed over" by that split decision (didn't Luger's feet hit first?). You can't do those things if Bret had retained. You'd just have an unover champion screwing around without a strong foe (because Yokozuna wouldn't be bought as credible losing to Bret in the IX main event).
  22. USC Wuz Robbed!

    Wrestlemania IX

Yes. It would establish a stronger heel having Yoko beat Bret decisively. People weren't really into Bret's first run. Beating Yokozuna wouldn't really change that.

    Smackdown Vs Raw 08

It could be worse, your ranking could be tied with Candice Michelle (all because my CAW won the KOTR in exhibition and he chose Candice to crown him as his queen).

    WWE Raw (3/31)

According to 411mania, Raw did a 3.9 rating, which is considered a disappointment for a post-Mania show. The first hour did a 3.77 and the second did a 4.05.

Should Austin come back for one last match at Mania 25?

If that was addressed to me, well I wasn't really referring to you. It's commonplace amongst wrestling fans that they think Rock has one or two more matches in him because they are completely dissatisfied with how he actually left.
