Should Austin come back for one last match at Mania 25?
USC Wuz Robbed! replied to Angle-plex's topic in The WWE Folder
It seems that people just doesn't accept the fact Rock's last ever match was a tag team handicap match with Foley against Evolution. They expect a big grand singles match with someone major to finally put an end to the Rock chapter in WWE. -
Not to mention HHH has made it clear Flair is his idol and he wishes to emulate him in every phase of the game, including fan respect.

Should Austin come back for one last match at Mania 25?

Officially yes, but I was including all the physical interactions he has had since then. And remember he was supposed to have a match with Coach that he walked out on the WWE over. I don't consider him a wrestler anymore but I just wasn't sure if he had a match here and there between XIX and now. I see that he hasn't, so yeah his final match was XIX. Leave it at that. -
What did you want him to say to a crowd full of WWE employees and fans? "I don't ever want to wrestle for this company again. I am too good for this shit now"?

Considering Austin has for the most part stopped wrestling full time since Mania XIX takes the luster off an "official" retirement match for him. It worked well for Ric Flair since he had still been wrestling for the most part in the past few years. That and a 55+ (I don't know his exact age) year old Ric Flair's retirement match is much more credible than a guy who's still only in his 40s. -
Let's be honest. The only reason why WWE bothered to induct Johnson and Maivia was so that The Rock would come back even if only for a few hours. I'm sure they were expecting more out of him in terms of wanting him to be back with them and hanging out with them to celebrate the Mania weekend, and I can see where the hurt feelings would come from. That being said, if it was a message from Dwayne Johnson to stop bothering him to come back, then all the power to him. He really gave them all he could in his years with the WWF/E and owes nothing to them.

Makes me wanna see the movie if it existed.

Its a prank, I believe.

What? The NFC North will be wide open. Even Detroit or Chicago (with all their woes, they still reeled off a few wins to end the season in 2007 and put themselves out of desirable draft position) could easily win that division.

I laid the smackdown on some ho last night...

True, yes, but in a day and age where many parents seem to refuse admission to being bad parents even after, say, Junior done went and shot up his schoolyard, I tend to have a healthy amount of skepticism regarding many parents' evaluation of their own abilities You're right. I do not claim to be without flaws when it comes to parenting, but certainly I would hope it's nothing that would damage the kids irreparably. -

Because if you were a bad dad, you would admit to it... right? Yes. Why not? In this freakshow where you have guys ripping off people on ebay, guys telling somebody that his girlfriend's baby isn't his, and so forth, wouldn't being a bad dad fit in TSM like a glove? Fortunately though, that doesn't apply to me. She isn't my girlfriend. Actually it was a Deon/MVP reference. He tried to wreck a relationship by telling the dude that the baby wasn't his. Something like that. -

I don't know. I'd have liked to see what Silverstone could have done with the role. Chalke was okay but she didn't exactly blow me away. I'd have seen the doctor bit already with Scrubs.

I agree that internet messageboarding isn't indicative of parenting skills. I'm not the most liked poster here and my style might be questionable, but I leave that shit on the internet and I'm a great dad. I don't think it's fair to judge EHME on what he says on the internet. -
RedJed, how can you argue against the ECW title when you're a fan of a promotion that had JEFF JARRETT as their "world" champion on multiple occasions? ECW outrates TNA by a good margin, so clearly more people would treat the ECW title with more prestige than the TNA title, right? But that doesn't stop you from treating the TNA title with a semblance of importance. Like Scroby said, it doesn't matter what some people might perceive the title. It is what the WWE wants it to be. If ROH can claim their title to be a world title, the WWE can claim the ECW title to be a world title.

Rip, it's because the good colleges that recruits a player to play for their team is so easy to get into, without that scholarship, right? Take advantage of your skills to get a free education, and if you're good enough, your skills will still be there in a year(+) when you go to the NBA and you get the added bonus of learning how to play in a higher pressure environment. Come on, guys. Are you seriously advocating NOT going to college?

Anyone refresh my memory on the SSlam98 build? What was so great about it? -
If he is going to injure himself in college, at least he'd have an education to fall back on as opposed as NOTHING if he comes out of high school.

The OAO LIVE Impact thread (3.27.08)
USC Wuz Robbed! replied to The Ghost of bps21's topic in TNA Wrestling
The show could be a good step into the right direction into getting a bump in buyrates especially with it being live and all, but we'll have to see how TNA handles that. I think they are better suited having adequate editing to really minimize the bad things they do, so it could easily expose the product if they go live. Hopefully that will motivate the bookers to tone down the bad stuff and try to put their best foot forward. -

Lou Gehrig 1937: Best hitter in American League 1939: 4-28 1941: Dead Best possible answer. How many NFL players, in your opinion, were better at their respective position than Jerry Rice at WR? Jim Brown and Barry Sanders - Running back First of all, if you're going to talk about Jim Brown and Barry Sanders, you have to include Walter Payton. He was the complete all-around running back you wanted. Second of all, only Barry Sanders can claim to be a better at RB than Jerry Rice was the best WR. -

He explained that he wanted to start fresh again.

I don't go to the Pit, so I don't know what he's been doing over there, nor DVDVR for that matter either. When I talk to him he seemed defeated in never coming back to TSM, or that's the sense I get from him. (in regards to Cheech's post)

I think Dama probably gave up on trying to come back. I'll let him know if he comes on AIM.
