I was actually hoping for the return of Rosey Colvin, but I'll take this news.

San Diego Chargers draft with the 27th pick, Reggie Smith, DB of Oklahoma. San Diego needs a safety to shore up what was a pretty shitty secondary outside Antonio Cromartie. I'm not convinced this is the guy, but he's the best rated that was available.

Pick now when you can. You're free to jump in any time now, since your time already came. Like Banky who missed his actual pick deadline and made it a few picks later.

I don't like Rex Grossman, but I have to admire his determination to be a Bear.

It seems like every time Pistons play the Cavs, the Pistons always say they come in overconfident, and when the Cavs take them to the limit, the first time around, the Pistons woke up and beat them, but then came into the Miami series totally out of gas. The second time, the Cavs just beat them. I do have to wonder if the Pistons are really what they say they were, lazy and unmotivated against the Cavs, or if the Cavs are just simply better with Lebron than the entire Pistons team. Cheech- you might be right. I might be clouded by the more blockbuster deals that was going on.

I overreacted by saying they WON'T beat Boston or Detroit (even if I think that's the case), but really, everything went right for the Cavaliers last year in the postseason. They faced an injury-riddled Wizards, a sorta sucky Nets and overconfident and lazy Pistons. When they faced a team worth its salt AND played like the team they're supposed to be, they got swept, didn't they? I just don't know. Like someone else said, these trades don't scream "FINALS CONTENDER!" to me. Maybe if everyone like Ben Wallace and Wally Szcerbiak played with a spark, then that's possible.

LOL at the people calling the Cavs improved with this. The only thing they did well was gather up the expirings. They aren't beating Boston or Detroit with what they got.

Does that mean for Mae Young's 105th birthday she wants to wrestle the 2nd daughter?

The logical progression for WCW fans is sports, the logical progression for WWF fans is soap opera or other dramatic fields. -
That reminds me. What will happen to Zydrunas Ilgauskas if they get Wallace?

Since Ripper thinks Grossman deserves a second chance, send him to Atlanta. See how quickly his tune changes the first snap Grossman takes that is sent flying backwards into the arms of a defender.

Dumbest Comment of the Day at TSM

I'd say some of those people are British like TheFranchise, so they are understandable. The ones in America? Probably just working you. -
Yikes. I don't like that, but it means getting rid of Wallace, so I'll take it.

Think about it. Her name is TILA TEQUILA. That's the first sign of fakeness.

It amuses me that Marion thinks he can be the franchise star and win on his own when he couldn't even win championships with a hell of a core in Phoenix.

It's Deon. This is the guy who claimed that Cena would take the pinfall at Wrestlemania, just because he is doing a movie. -
Marion already being traded? What the heck? No matter how you slice it, that gotta bruise his ego, being traded twice in the same season (if its indeed him being talked about).

NO. I'd be glad to get Derek Anderson, but I get this feeling he'd be overpaid if he went anywhere but Cleveland. Same reason I hope Chicago doesn't retain Berrian. I really like what I've seen of Flacco, and he'd be a reasonable acquisition. 1. QB 1a. O Line 2. RB 3. WR They'll draft Kentwan Balmer or some shit. Even though Berrian is unreliable, with the Muhammad cut, they almost have to retain Berrian. Otherwise you're going with the assumption that Devin Hester (who is more unreliable a receiver) is your starting WR.

If I recall correctly, wasn't Morrison stripped of the ECW belt, and never received it again? Sure he is the tag champions but considering the prestigious lineage of the belts at the point, who cares?

Fucker?

John Cena, Vince's golden boy and the TOP face of all of WWE, is not going to take the fuckin' pinfall at Wrestlemania, movie be damned or not. Orton's in the match to do the job, plain and simple. The match will either see HHH defeat Orton or Cena defeat Orton.
-
And Orton did miss out on a big push as a result of his transgressions. It was only after he apparently (or they are doing a better job covering up his shit this time) calmed down that they gave him a title run. And even then, he's probably not going to survive Mania with the belt intact.

But you'd have people naming more NBA players than boxers if you asked for overall athletes. I'd say Tim Duncan's name would come up before Floyd Mayweather's name would. It's all about context. However, why are people talking about Tim Duncan? He isn't going to do anything with WWE outside possibly sit ringside for a Raw if it was in San Antonio. The WWE has a deal with Mayweather obviously, so worry about that. -
I don't know about Memphis or Charlotte, but yes Sacramento is too horrible a city for a NBA star to live in.
