Likes the Pacers. Too much. -
No? I didn't see them being the same. If they were, then disregard my previous couple of posts. I assumed that the ones flooding the house were called by Reese and that there was a second set of people out to kill Kyle before he could tell Charlie what happened in the ones who rammed him, likely also connected to Reese.
-
No not them. The ones who flooded the house that Charlie was holding Rachel Seybolt in.
-
They were cops, maybe corrupt, but cops all the same.
-
They sure crammed a lot in this episode. It sort of lost a realistic touch with Crews evading cops then acting like everything is normal while he had a guy locked up in his trunk. What the hell?
-
Wow I don't see why people don't understand that. Every time I see a false start committed everyone else is busting their asses to break away from the defensive line and making their routes and etc, then they stop WHEN the whistle is blown. They are never going to go at no speed as the play PRESUMABLY gets underway. Also no, nobody knows what the penalty is when it's in middle of a play or the heat of the moment. Offense will think it's offsides and defense will say false start.
-
I was under the impression it meant Peter's time was running up and that he'd die soon. It would fit Angela telling Nathan's killer that he opened the Pandora's Box.
-
Which I'm fine with. I didn't want Hunter anyways.
-
By the way Czech, I don't know how it is in South Side these days, but anyone who seriously thought Chicago White Sox was going to land Cabrera was kidding themselves. We have NO pieces to make it work.
-
I will agree that managers are given too much credit for things, but that wasn't my point. If you're a White Sox fan, which you're clearly not, who would you rather have, Jerry Manuel who was a mild-mannered guy and was quiet and just did his thing and did not rile up reporters or anything like that, and produce losing or average seasons OR Ozzie Guillen who is loud, abrasive, somewhat abusive to people, yet produces a World Series title for the south side Chicago (and the only title long time surviving Cubs fans will ever see as well)? It's silly to begrudge an organization for rewarding a championship manager with patience while he flames out (which they certainly couldn't foresee at the time). Kenny Williams is just as big an idiot as Ozzie Guillen is anyways, so the problem extends beyond who's screaming in the dugout at players.
-
You shouldn't feel bad for anybody who gives Ozzie Guillen a contract to manage his team. Yeah who needs a World Series title when you can have a quiet mild-mannered manager instead, right?
-
Under the new rules, they could kneel down but lose the yards anyways (either declining the penalty and taking the few yards loss from the kneeldown as well as a loss of downs OR accepting the penalty and losing 5 yards).

Like I explained the other day, the Bears offense is designed to be run by Grossman. I understand where Lovie was coming from with his wanting Grossman back in, even if the real reason for Griese being benched is stupid. -
I know. I never said I would predict it. I said I would be sold on them, as in I could believe in them running the table, something I haven't been able to all season.
-
Yeah no way Pats go undefeated if they've squeaked it out the last two weeks against a team that was starting a journeyman backup QB and a team that was starting a failed first round draft pick at QB. I think they lose to Pittsburgh next week. If the Pats does beat the Steelers, then I'll be sold on them.
-
Yeah the UCLA job isn't that appealing when you have a recruiting mecca and an awesome team across the city from you.
-
I don't think this miniseries has any standing with the old movie. So I'd say DG is Dorothy, but the story being told differently.
-
I'm shocked that after people tried to refute my point that West Virginia was beatable and that I didn't think they would beat anyone in the title game, only three people ended up voting for them in this poll. Only "Others- specify" got less votes.
-
This is one of those times I wish the Bears had two first round picks. It seems like their QB and RB needs are equally as important and pressing.
-
Chicago is 10 million and change under the cap as of 2007.
-
Too bad they have more problems than that. The RB situation, the offensive line, the defense is starting to show serious signs of decline (doesn't help that the same few guys get injured every year- Mike Brown I am looking at you), the only bright spot is Devin Hester and you gotta figure teams will eventually just stop kicking to him completely.
-
When Rex gets in, it seems like they like to pass the ball more often, because they have the receivers that can just run deep routes for Grossman to throw it out there. The offensive playcalling is designed to use the speed of the WRs and the arm of Grossman. Only except Grossman isn't very accurate and makes bad decisions.
-
The offense was built around Rex Grossman. So if the good Rex shows up, yes the Bears would be "awesome" on offense. As it is, since Rex isn't that good, they aren't awesome on offense.
-
So that's what it is? At least it's a step up from not making a bowl in the previous year(s).
