King, what is your thoughts on Mark Sanchez's play? It irritated me when the commentators were going on about how Booty shouldn't lose his job because he's "played extremely well". Yeah it was against Notre Dame but USC never looked as good offensively with Booty as they did today. And theoretically you have that Idaho game earlier in the year to compare performance against "shitty teams".

My point is if you trade away Hinrich, Gordon, Deng and god knows who else for Kobe, you basically have an inferior version of what Kobe had in Los Angeles. And no, the East is not that substandard that they would be Finals bound with the proposed team.

If Kobe was an instant Finals contender type player why has he not done it with Odom and Co. in Los Angeles?

Kobe is one of the best players in the NBA and there are going to be very few players that GMs will refuse to part with. Kirk Hinrich is one of them (Paxson likes him too much).

They have to care because it takes two sides to make a deal. The Lakers doesn't have to make the deal and neither does the Bulls. I'm going to quit while we're here. It's pointless to discuss what happens because we don't know what will happen.

Be realistic. What the hell are we going to do with Gordon with Kobe here? No. Any package the Bulls offer is going to involve Gordon. Gordon/Nocioni/Thomas/Noah will just be fine with me.

I don't really think the Lakers are in a position to dictate trade terms. Kobe's got them by the balls. The Bulls aren't really that badly needing Kobe. He's a luxury and Paxson knows it. If the trade terms are too steep, they will simply laugh and just wait until 2008 or 2009 when Kobe opts out.

Why would you get ripped? In a theoretical trade, the Bulls would get a superstar and future Hall of Fame shooting guard. What would we do with Gordon?

While I don't deny Shawn has had a reputation for doing this shit for years, since returning from his retirement Shawn has for the most part played ball with the WWE, and a 40+ year old guy who came back because WWE decided they needed him so badly shouldn't be subjected to Vince's abuse. They begged him to come back, not the other way around and he is simply just making that known.

The same "Jack" Westbrook who beat them in Game 3? I don't see how the Red Sox are in good shape. If they beat Carmona on Saturday then yes Game 7 is theirs for the taking, but Game 6 will be tough for them.

I see the AFC playoff teams being New England, Indianapolis, Pittsburgh, San Diego, Jacksonville and Baltimore, all which won't finish with worse than 9-7 (that being the Chargers alone, rest will finish at 10-6 or better).

Let's hope Ohio State lose so we have yet another upheaval of the rankings.

I think of all the Bulls young players Paxson would probably want to trade Deng the least (yes that includes Hinrich). Gordon will most likely be Los Angeles bound if a Kobe trade is worked out, and I'd assume Nocioni and either Thabo/Tyrus Thomas/Noah or two or all three will be involved as well depending on how much Lakers want for Kobe. I think Paxson will consider it a success if he has Hinrich and Deng after the trade. Then again getting one of, if not THE, best players in the NBA while keeping your young near-superstar PG and SF would win Paxson the GM of the year award right out of the gate, so that said I don't see it happening.

Is that because he refuses to snap into shotgun or his personality?

The WWE logo is all the more appealing for those types.

Too bad Jerry West isn't with Memphis. That'd be extra motivation for Kobe to play in Memphis.

The only NFC North opponents left for New York aren't really threats to them. Chicago maybe if they somehow get their shit together and Minnesota if Peterson develops and their defense tightens up are the only potential losses for New York.

Who COULD trade for Kobe now? It seems like all the "pieces" that would be required, the original teams will want to hang on to.
