No Cal or Oregon? How does UCLA make it when they looked pretty less than impressive lately?

Well at least people here are talking NLCS, Al. I want Indians in 6, but I think Sox in 5.

NFL Week 6: The Bills Could Not Pay Their Way To A Win
USC Wuz Robbed! replied to Nate's topic in Sports
I'm going to apologize on behalf of the Chicago Bears for not conceding the season after four weeks. Moreover, when is a run at the playoffs "ill-advised"? Is it bad for business to not roll over and die or something? I don't get it. Oh well, it is cabbageboy. I was thinking the same thing. -
WWE General Discussion - October 2007
USC Wuz Robbed! replied to DrVenkman PhD's topic in The WWE Folder
Yup, Helmsley insulted the the very belt he was holding right over his own shoulder. On page 25 of The WWE’s special issue magazine,”The Complete History of Champions” in the upper right hand corner while discussing the title’s history the text reads as follows: Case closed! The WWE has now officially admitted what I’ve said from the start. The WCW and WHC World titles are one and the same. Go out and get a copy right away so that you will always have official documentation to show any remaining non-believers. The legacy of the WCW Championship lives on! Just because WWE says so doesn't make it so. Otherwise the ECW title carries the same lineage from when Rhino was the very last champion of the company, but it isn't. And the World title isn't the WCW title. -

Because otherwise it'd be 5 for West and 3 for South? -

Don't worry, you'll probably have the Jaguars, eventually. Hopefully then they move Kansas City to South to replace them to maintain an even division alignment. -
I really believe that people as a whole (ie: not just smarks) are simply not interested in Randy Orton as the champion. I know I was interested in what WWE was going to do with the vacated WWE title but once I saw that Randy Orton was walking out the champion, I went "Oh... okay. Chuck/Heroes/Journeyman it is."

But then you remember what he did with Hardy when he did return...

Remember when Illinois had that standout season and only lost like 1 or 2 games? They didn't even go to the BCS title game and got blown out by LSU on the road (yeah that's right, the Sugar Bowl/Superdome is basically a home game for LSU).
-
Well yeah but that's not going to happen.

I like how people say A-Rod should be "brought" back. It's up to A-Rod, not the Yankees, whether he is a Yankee in the coming years.

Mii integration and Main Event Mode(read..different name for 24/7 mode) How does that work? Do they let your Mii come out and wrestle as a 2 footer?

Yes, but he did so much for the industry...he gave it everything he had every night...so many people loved him Yes, he went through losts of drug abuse, yes he did have some severe personal problems in his life, yes he did end up dying in the end, but he did overcome his problems I think a lot of people would beg to differ with your opinion Under that criteria, Benoit deserves a tribute too (not that I'm comparing how Eddie went out and how Benoit went out).

Usually they have to order it themselves. The company doesn't give it out unprompted. -

That belt sells, so it's not going anywhere. -
Putting aside an obvious anti-USC bias, you have to remember the BCS was all but ready to hand them a title game spot last season after losing to Oregon State earlier in the season. You can't say for sure what will happen. That said, I don't expect USC to run the remainder of the table, so it's a moot point anyways.

No because the Jaguars have not been playing that well. Someone mentioned they should be 1-3 not 3-1 prior to yesterday's game.

See that's what happen in divisional games. Teams get up for em and you don't know what's gonna happen. So even if your team is shitty and plays a good one, it can win. Just like in 2004 Steelers went 15-1 and Ravens went 9-7 but guess who won that game in Baltimore? Not Pittsburgh!!! Cause division matchup is unpredictable most the time. You had to turn a Bears/Packers topic into one about the Ravens. I'm pretty sure that when the Bears started the game 1-3 they decided "Fuck it, if we don't go to the playoffs, fine, but we're beating the Packers at Lambeau!"
-
Well..I'm not.....This is one of the few times I'd rather H won. Honestly, I'm kind of glad that Orton walked out as Champ. I'm a bigger Triple H fan, but Orton has been chasing the belt for months and the guy always gets his potential title reigns nixed. If nothing else, you owe him a 2 - 3 month reign Owe him? Owe him what exactly? He screwed it up each time, leading to those "potential reigns" being nixed.

You guys act like PPVs end at 11 pm/8 pm on the dot. They usually end at the 10:45/7:45 mark.

The Dolphins couldn't beat a lot of teams but they managed to beat the Patriots a few times. Just because Denver looks bad against San Diego isn't indicative of their chances against New England.
-
The Broncos, Cowboys and the Colts probably could beat the Patriots though.

Even so, why would it matter what color skinned guy said it? He should not have said "I'd be angrier if a white guy said it" if he meant that he was going to be offended either way. It just makes it sound like there's two different standards there.
-
People forgot to vote for Illinois because they went home to play video games. Same thing happened when South Carolina beat Georgia. Georgia was still higher ranked.
-
Yes... they beat a bad Jets team, a bad Bills team, an apparently bad Chargers team, a defensively bad Bengals team and a traditionally bad Browns team. You're right. They're so going undefeated...
