And Nick Saban might know a thing or two about LSU, so there's an upset that could happen there.
-
So? That doesn't really matter to me. The Colts last year won a lot of games by a close margin, while San Diego was leading the league in points scored. What happened? The Colts went to the Super Bowl and beat the #2 scoring team. It doesn't really matter how impressive you look in wins, all that counts are the wins themselves. Look at San Francisco, they had ugly wins so far this season but they're just as good a shot to go to the Super Bowl as Dallas at this time. The Colts are the defending champions. Until they lose a game, they have no reason to move down the rankings (which is meaningless at this point).
-
Why not? What have the Colts done to lose their #1 ranking that they acquired from winning the Super Bowl? Aren't they still undefeated this season? Just because the Patriots put up more points in two games doesn't mean they are inherently better. It just means they put up more points than the Colts.

The Texans look like a team that can win every game against bad teams and maybe even upset a good team or two.

Don't have HBO, but who got naked, female-wise? Any notables?

That explains why he signed with Dallas and other teams later on...

So I guess that means in Iggy's scenario, USC's only loss is to Oregon then. That's very possible but I think USC would lose to Cal or UCLA again before they would lose to Oregon.
-
Wait wait, Iggy, you're saying Oregon wins the Pac-10? Because otherwise, in your scenario, if USC wins the Pac-10, they go to Rose Bowl. In fact if it was a co-champions situation, Rose Bowl would take USC over Oregon.

My vote is for A, as Del Rio never liked Leftwich and it was actually the GM's decision to draft him, not Del Rio's. So it's a case of the coach wanting to get rid of a guy just because he doesn't fit in his scheme and he doesn't like that Leftwich "lied" to him on a few occasions about his health, and so on.
-
Re: Leftwich, he actually said that this past preseason was the first time he entered the season at 100% strength. He has had a lingering injury ever since he was drafted by Jacksonville, and supposedly never actually healed from that famous injury that we see in clips of his Marshall teammates carrying him down the field to take snaps. That injury was to the ankle btw, so it's no wonder that when someone hit his ankle he'd be injured.

Cena > David Arquette.
-
Jaguars fans on boards I've gone to are actually thrilled Leftwich got cut. They said he had a bad attitude. I don't know what goes on down there but I always liked Leftwich. I wanted Chicago to give him a look. Damn you Lovie Smith and your Rex Grossman man-crush.

I don't think it would be too hard to put someone over Cena, as it's always pointed out that Cena's not the best wrestler on the roster, so they seem to be setting that possibility up for a loss. Not to mention Cena is usually, if not always, painted as the underdog champion. The problem is that the fans are being programmed to believe that Cena will always be around the title, no matter what, may it be as a champion or challenger. He's getting the HHH effect now, where people don't buy that Cena would be without the title for too long a stretch.

Matt was too smart to stay and take a chokeslam from Taker at Survivor Series 05.

Ok I saw the video on Youtube. It's still very close but I still think it was a lateral. It's the kind of call that can go either way for everyone as a fan.
-
I don't think I could think of a better scenario. Fixed.
-
It was not a forward pass. It was a very close call but a lateral.

You mean the same stupidity in crying about the Red Sox losing a series to the Yankees? I'm a Chicago fan. Give me a break. I don't have faith in the Bears to rebound from a bad start, especially with how Green Bay and Detroit are playing. Unlike the Red Sox, we don't exactly have a 4+ game lead up on the division. So I think my concern is more valid than yours.
-
I don't think you'd be well served to compare the Colts who had an all-world offense to the Bears. And didn't the Colts start out 9-0 last year? Yeah not the same thing.
-
Yes. They might make the playoffs even if they lose to Dallas, but they wouldn't be expected to go anywhere there, if at all. Come on, you don't lose to both San Diego and Dallas and expect to make noise.
-
We'll see. If Chicago loses this one, we can write them out of the playoffs picture already.
-
Coming from an Eagles fan, I also think Dallas goes in and beats Chicago. Chicago hasn't shown the ability to go up and down the field if necessary. While they should hold Dallas' O in check, they still probably breakthrough for 17-21 poins. Assuming Hester is avoided, I don't know if Chicago can get there. I'm not high on Chicago's offense either but no way Dallas is scoring 17-21 on Chicago at Soldier Field.
-
The thing with Matt Ryan is that he could easily fall in the later end of Round 1 or in later rounds, where good teams might pick him up. Imagine what happens if say Chicago decided that was it for Rex Grossman? Put Matt Ryan behind Chicago's o-line, and I'm pretty sure he'd do decent enough.
-
You're not sold on Matt Ryan but you're sold on a Troy QB? Alrighty then...

Shit, I forgot about the switch at Survivor Series/Armageddon.
