  1. But at least they face the "fun" San Diego Chargers this time. They'll carry Denver to a watchable game.
  2. He's good, I admit, but he's not as good as a lot of people credit him with. They just look at his record, "Oh there it is, he's the best ever!" just because he was fortunate enough to have management to put together a hell of a line for him. I mean really, some of those guys are Hall of Fame type linemen, most were perennial Pro Bowlers.
  3. Look at his line. A 5 year old would get the record behind that line. You get real. Now Barry Sanders, that man was amazing, considering his line was shitty, and was still able to come very close to the record while still in his prime.
  4. LT is good, but of the last 20 years is a bit of a strech for me. He hasnt passed Emmitt Smith, Barry Sanders, Marcus Allen, Eric Dickerson or even Curtis Martin yet. Lets see what he does in the next 5 years or so. Anyways being a die hard and suffering Raiders fan, I would give the MVP nod to LT. He has been tearing us apart since he came into the league in 01. Come to think of it, who do think got the better of the deal in the 2001 Michael Vick sweeptakes, San Diego or Atlanta? Emmitt Smith is one of the most overrated running backs ever. Seriously.
  5. Right but let's say the offense takes up 6 minutes every time they drive, and they have 6 drives in a game, that means 36 minutes, which gives their defense a lot of rest so they can be quicker and harder hitting.
  6. I think the point is that since the Colts offense continues to score in a quick strike fashion, this means more time on the field for the Colts D which would allow longer drives by the opponents' offenses, therefore tiring them out.
  7. Exaggerate much?
  8. Sure it's fun but I'd get tired of playing with wrestlers that aren't there anymore.
  9. I know, so its more impressive that the offense is able to carry them. Moreso than the Colts.
  10. Yeah have fun playing an outdated game.
  11. MiB, take a look at the SD/Cincy game last weekend. Their defense wasn't that unstoppable.
  12. Conversely, anyone who reads that and is overly excited (see Hail bps21) doesn't really understand the concept of logically building up the match to mean more than it currently does. Also yeah, they're rushing Angle too soon. Sorry if not everyone creams their pants at the mere mention of the match and would rather go "Wait a minute... already? Why?"
  13. LaDainian Tomlinson. His team looks more impressive than the Colts. So his carryjob> Peyton's.
  14. Yeah... the Primetime show.
  15. I just wanted clarification. And for the record, I do think Schlereth is pretty bad himself. Jackson too.
  16. Worse than Michael Irvin? At least Irvin won a superbowl. What the fuck is Sean salisbury steak known for? I'd go as far as saying he's the most annoying person on ESPN. He's up there with Scott, Greenie and the douche from the broncos. Schlereth or Jackson?
  17. It won't matter. Like King said, USC is going to lose one or more of the last three games anyways.
  18. Well the NFL won't miss you.
  19. The Bears D made fools out of the passing game of the Giants. How was that not being on their A game? Because Tiki was able to run for 100+ yards? This guy is the NFL leader in yards rushing so far. They made the key stops when they had to do. And you're going "OH MAN, IF REX WINS A RING, I WILL NEVER WATCH NFL AGAIN!", nevermind he actually performed a hell lot better than Eli Manning did yesterday.
  20. Still failing to see your point. They don't really care about you guys. They're mostly catering to the US audience, since that's where like 85% of their shows are at. You're just a charity case. A market that isn't dried up so they suck up as much money and go "Ok thanks fellas" and go back home to America.
  21. Somehow I get the sense naiwf is just a sore loser. Didn't he predict the Giants would beat the Bears and now he fell on his face with that one? Yeah...
  22. Well they have every reason to be, until you remember who their starting QB is. (About the Skins)
  23. Really? Really. Palmer's 1st half stats - 20/23, 282 yds, 2 TD Yes, my really was of the sarcastic "Yeah duh!" variety.
  24. And you like Vince Russo's booking ideas. That doesn't say much about you. Hawk, I agree that it'd work if they start the dissension now and all, but it's still quite a lot to digest at Survivor Series, considering it's probably not a big enough a storyline that WWE would want to pursue.
  25. Really?
