    Watchmen

Does this include the stuff at the end of each chapter, like Under The Hood and everything else?

    Spring Training 2009

I plan to, definitely. I talked a little bit about this a few weeks ago in the "things that amuse me or please me" thread, but the best part so far is that I was in the Cubs weight room for my first interview, and in the clubhouse for the group interview. There's a guy on the NSBB board who's been extremely helpful.

I just found out I'm working in Chicago Cubs crowd control! ...pending training and registration and stuff.

    2009 World Baseball Classic

OOps. I thought something seemed wrong there. I edited my previous post. But I stand by the argument I was trying to make.

    Watchmen

I laughed during that scene, too. There were some pretty ridiculous punching sound effects, which I don't mind or really even pay attention to during regular fight scenes, but they seemed really obvious and out of place there.

  10. I don't think any "least likely to give autographs" list is complete without Ringo Starr.

Did Rick Sutcliffe really just say that watching Derek Jeter in batting practice helped McCann hit a sacrifice fly to center? Yeah, that's about all of this I can take.

    Curb Your Enthusiasm

March 5, 2009 - It took awhile, but the entire cast of Seinfeld will be acting together again. The place this will occur is a rather appropriate one – Larry David's Curb Your Enthusiasm. David, who co-created Seinfeld, plays a fictionalized version of himself on the HBO comedy and EW.com reports that Jerry Seinfeld, Julia Louis-Dreyfuss, Jason Alexander, and Michael Richards will be featured in "a multiple episode-story arc" for the show's seventh season. Previously, Louis-Dreyfus and Alexander had storylines on the series as themselves, while Seinfeld appeared in a cameo, but the actors did not share scenes. Richards is the one Seinfeld alum who had yet to appear on Curb. Details about how the Seinfeld cast will appear have not been revealed, but it's easy to imagine several scenarios, such as the Curb version of David being convinced to do a Seinfeld reunion movie.

    Curb Your Enthusiasm

Yeah, I think the last scene from the Season 6 finale is the best thing this show has ever done.

    Sometime in the fall.
  15. I can't, and this depresses me.
  16. My first date was with a girl named Krista, when I was 19 years old (yeah, I know, that's pathetic, right?). We went to a Mexican place called LA Cafe, and afterwards we played miniature golf.

    LOST

I was just assuming that had something to do with how time is different on the island, like somebody posted before. Similar to how the body washed ashore before the doctor had even died.

    LOST

Well, that still doesn't explain why he doesn't know who Christian is.

Sometimes I wonder if Hyper's watching the show at all.

    Great Unsolved Crimes or Events

Is this the same Phil Schneider who took Alex Christopher to the lower levels of DIA in that other story you posted? This is weird.
  21. This thread is also making me feel very hairy.

    BNL doesn't break up

In the summer of either 1999 or 2000, there was something called Rockfest, which IIRC was in Joliet, IL, or I could just be thinking that because it was definitely held at a race track. Anyways, the main attraction for this was Metallica, but it was an all-day concert featuring Kid Rock, Stone Temple Pilots, Veruca Salt (sp?), some other bands I don't remember, and Barenaked Ladies. Needless to say, after several hours in the hot sun, standing up the whole time because it was the only way my friend and I (who were like 13 at the time) could be near the stage, and surrounded by mostly white trash, BNL was not well-received.
  23. This thread makes me feel very small.

    LOST

It seems like Jack, Hurley, Kate, Jin, and probably Sawyer, Juliet, Miles, and Faraday are still in the past, while Locke and everyone else are in the present, or thereabouts. EDIT: Or the bus came with Jin in another flash.
