If you mean Maria Santos, she's on TV every day.

Your favorite moment of the year is a hurricane.

Today is August 28th. Why hasn't someone started a new thread yet?

Oh great, that's like the Marty Jannetty vs. Jim Neidhart of baseball matchups. And even worse, they're capital smallball offenders, so you can bet we'll be hearing about productive outs! Blah. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> White Sox small ball is a myth. It's been perpetuated because they have crappy hitters like Podsednik, Crede, and Pablo Ozuna starting every day, so they can afford to try lots of bunts and whatnot, but it's been proven already that they have a run scored via homer rate almost as bad as the Cubs'. The only reason the White Sox are winning is because of their pitching, which I'll admit is incredible, but I still think that to hang with Anaheim, Boston, or New York, they're going to have to score some runs.

Because when he starts he can bounce back from one or two rough innings, but if he's closing and has a rough inning, the game could be over.

The Bulls go from having 2 national TV games last year to 16 this year.

Especially since these same people said the same thing after Sunday's win, and then they just lost two in a row.

Completely disagree. Giambi for years denied steroid use, attributed his weight loss to less "In&Out Burger," and only finally admitted he used steroids once it was already proven that he had. He has never even apologized for using steroids, just for some unspecified actions at that ridiculous press conference pre-season. Add that to the fact that he started this year one of the worst hitters around, and has just suddenly started hitting and gaining weight again, earns him the right to suspicion for the rest of his life.
-
NO, his career went down the shitter because he STOPPED using steroids.
-
After the Palmeiro stuff nobody can say "Giambi hasn't tested positive so how can you accuse him?" or anything stupid like that anymore. Palmeiro tested positive in May, so how do we know there aren't hundreds of major leaguers who are going through appeals processes at this very moment?
-
Just think, if Palmeiro tested positive in May, and we just found out about it, how many other roiders are playing today? And if the reports are right that it was Stenozolol, then there's no way Palmeiro didn't know it was banned.
-
They said on Sportscenter today that Palmeiro tested positive for steroids months ago, and that he was going through his "appeal process." So quite possibly he was on roids during the chase for his 3000th hit.

Is there really any doubt that [you] is the worst poster on these entire forums? I'm anxious to hear some feedback.

The Bears will finish 8-8, and somehow that'll be good enough for a Wild Card spot.
-
Shoot. On BB-style forums when you type [you] it shows up as the user name of whoever's reading it, but I guess that doesn't work here.
-
Shit, apparently I was given some inaccurate info on how to make this work. Somebody who knows HTML send me a PM.

Very mixed reaction for Manny in his first plate appearance tonight, a lot of boos. Then it was all boos later when he let a ball go over his head for a double by not going back to the wall right away.

Rumor on ESPN Radio that the Cubs are trying to get Soriano. No matter what, the WC comes down to Stros, Cubs, Marlins. Nats won't stay in it, Braves'll win the East.
-
Would you cheer for the Cubs if they were the best in MLB?
