Things you learn from the movies...

    126. If someone is being chased by someone else in a car they will always run in a straight path and most certanly get hit. 127. If the main good guy and the main good woman hate each other when they first meet, they will eventually fall in love, and one of them will die before they can get intimate. 128. The hero will find a way to stop the most unstoppable villian known to man. 129. The main character will not only stay conscience, but be able to whip the guys ass after he gets beat down to the point where he should have been KO'ed. (FC when Lou meets Tyler in basement) 130. When someone is running from someone else, they will trip over something.

    IWC's August 14 Show

It will be a good match. Let's just hope that the match is still going to happen when the 14th rolls around, not like with 3PW and it's AJ Styles vs. Christopher Daniels no time limit match.

    I've done it.

Why in the hell would a 15 year old kid need to smoke for? Work too hard? 9th grade too hard? Seriously though, you don't have a car to pay for, nothing really to pay for, and you smoke. It's obvious you do it to be "cool".

Has there ever been a 5 star match?

Are you talking just WWE? If so there are a couple IMO. Austin/Hart I Quit WM 13 Michaels/Ramon Ladder WM 10 - SS 95 HHH/Foley Street Fight RR 00 HHH/Foley HIAC TLC 1 & 2 Hart/Hart SS 94 Austin/HHH Three Stages of Hell Michaels/Taker HIAC Benoit/Michaels/HHH WM XX - BL 04 Taker/Mankind HIAC Hardys vs. E&C Ladder Austin/Rock WM X7 That's all that I can think of. But if it's every promotion, then there is a ton. *EDIT* Changed date (thanks Fook), and added a few more matches.

    Kane vs Benoit

I know theres no way Angle/Benoit could be compared to Misawa/Kobashi. But what I was trying to get at was: Angle and Benoit were the top workers in the WWE, and should be having ***** matches, just like Misawa/Kobashi did in AJPW. 2pacallyps, read my post over again, I didn't say Kawada/Misawa, I said Misawa/Kobashi (the best AJPW feud and matches ever, IMO). Also, you post way too often, and it confuses not only you, but others. I don't want to nitpick, because I don't like to, it's uncalled for, those guys busted their asses, and don't deserve to be nitpicked by someone who couldn't do half of what they do. MrZsasz, I didn't mean to come off as a prick, was not my intention. I was just giving info, some I thought he might not know. I've seen 6/3/94 Misawa/Kawada, I have a 1st gen tape to be exact. It is a classic (lol) match, but it's not the greatest match of all time IMO. I think Flair/Steamboat - Misawa/Kobashi have that match topped.

    Kane vs Benoit

Kurt Angle vs. Chris Benoit Royal Rumble 2003 Was it a great match? Yes. Was it a MOTYC? Yes. Was it the MOTY? No. Was it a classic? Almost. Was there any classic matches in 2003? Yes. There were two. One was puro, and one was US indy. I'm not going to nit pick the match, but at that point in time, Benoit and Angle should have been having Misawa/Kobashi caliber matches.

    So, anybody think

This is how I would like to see it happen: *Sidenote* Bischoff makes it a No DQ match, he wants to see HHH destroy Eugene. HHH and Eugene start their match and Eugene does what he does to everyone else, out wrestle them. HHH gets mad and tries hard, but still Eugene is one step ahead of him and almost wins a few times. HHH looks towards the ramp signaling for Evolution to come out, but Regal steps in front of them trying to hold them off. He tries hard, but is overpowered, Eugene sees this and runs out and tries to help Regal, then HHH sneak attacks him and starts to destroy him. Evolution distracts the ref while HHH uses weapons and underhanded tactics. This brings out Benoit to save Eugene. Benoit fights with Evolution, and is winning, then Kane runs out and attacks Benoit. HHH is still beating Eugene, this brings out Jericho to help Eugene. But to no avail, Jerihco gets pummled by HHH and Orton. Then Benjamin runs out and takes Orton out of the ring, at the same time HBK comes out and attacks Kane. This leaves Batista and Flair all alone beating up Benoit. Bring out Tajiri and Edge to help (Tajiri attacks Batista, and Edge attacks Flair). It's utter chaos, and JR is going crazy. OK, HHH is with Jericho and Eugene, Benoit is down and out, HBK is with Kane, Orton is with Benjamin, Batista is with Tajiri, and Edge is with Flair. Jericho gets some "fighting sprit" and makes a comeback only to have Christian return and clobber him with a stiff chairshot. Benoit is back up and going after HHH, Benoit and Hunter are slugging it out when Batista gets loose, and Edge sees this and tries to help Benoit, but spears him again. Batista then powerbombs Edge, as HHH pedigrees Tajiri. Orton gets the better of Benjamin as he uses a low blow and a IC belt shot. Kane and HBK fight back into the ring, and Kane goes for a huge lariat, but HBK ducks and it nails HHH. This cause Evolution to attack Kane and dispose of him. HBK is the only babyface standing as Orton, Batista, and Flair corner him. HHH gets up and tells them to stop only to have Eugene roll HHH up for a near fall. HHH gets pissed and lays in a sick pedigree, and starts the "HHH mounted punching" and bloodies poor Eugene. Regal is up and gets in the ring and attacks HHH. Evolution once again dispose of him in a timely matter, but HBK goes berserk and attacks Evolution (minus HHH). He is taken out with a choke chop from one of them, and beaten down. He is then dragged out of the ring by Kane and out of sight. Eugene is still down, and HHH goes to cover him, but he quickly rolls him up for a very close near fall. Benoit, being the tough motherfuck he is, is back on his feet and he systematically takes down all of Evolution, with germans, diving headbutts, and the crippler crossface reserved for HHH. This brings Kane back out and he tears into Benoit, and goes for a chokeslam but Benoit is on fire and puts him in the crossface. Kane stands up and gets speared by Edge causing both Kane and Benoit to tumble over the top rope. Edge gets floored again by Evolution, as does a groggy Tajiri and Benjamin. Now it's just HHH and Eugene in the ring. Eugene is still a bloody mess, but something snapped inside of him, and he starts to act like a savage, knocking Triple H's head on the turnbuckle many times and then biting his forehead causing him to bleed. Eugene is going for the finish but HHH sneaks in a low blow, and goes for the cover, but Eugene kicks out! Eugene gets up and "Eugenes" (Hulk's Up) and starts whooping HHH again. Eugene is getting the best of HHH, until Eric Bischoff and Coach come out and distract him, Eric gets on the ring apron and shoves Eugene. But Eugene has had enough and pulls Eric into the ring and stomps him, and then Coach who tries to help Bischoff. This allows Triple H to recover enough to get a steel chair, and he just smacks the fuck out of Eugene (think Hardy Boyz giving Brock those chair shots) and then pedigrees him for the 1-2-3. Then Evolution stands over the fallen Eugene and raises their arms (I figured they needed a big "win" over the faces, since they've been getting beat all the time). Whew. I know I would be marking out like fucking crazy for the whole time. What do you think?

    Kane vs Benoit

How are we stupid? When one of us says a match is classic, we lay out reasons why the match was a classic match. Like for example: Bret Hart vs. Steve Austin I Quit match at WM 13. This match is a classic because it was a double turn. Meaning Austin went from heel to face, and Bret from face to heel. The workrate was great, heat was out of this world, it was very suspenseful with Austin refusing to tap out while completely covered in blood making him the badass of the WWF. Bret went on to become a huge heel, and Austin became the biggest babyface and by far most popular wrestler in WWF history. And the red hot Austin vs. Hart Foundation feud that would make the WWF make a ton of money. AND it being called Match of the Decade! Am I forgeting anything else? Does Benoit vs. Kane fit any of that Evil Blood?

    Kane vs Benoit

Angle and Benoit had a match at Royal Rumble 2004?? Damnit WWE, I want a refund for my DVD, because that match isn't on it!!!!! The word classic has been used way too many times in this thread. Evil Blood, what star rating would you give the Kane/Benoit match? What is Kane's best match?

ESPN's 25 greatest single season teams...

The '95-'96 Chicago Bulls are the greatest Basketball team of all time. They won 31 games in a row, now that's a feat. They only lost one game in the Eastern Conference Playoffs, they killed Miami, New York, and Orlando. Then, they only lost twice to Seattle (also a great team). Their playoff record was 15-3! Fucking amazing shit. Jordan was league MVP, All Star MVP, and Finals MVP, along with scoring champion, and was named to the All Defensive 1st Team with Pippen and Rodman. They had it all; scoring (Jordan), defense (Jordan/Pippen), rebounding (Rodman), three point shooting (Kerr), great supporting role players (Longley, Kukoc (6th Man Award winner), Kerr, and Harper. Their overall record was 87-13, a 87% winning percentage. INCREDIBLE! 1995-96 72 10 .878 1994-95 47 35 .573 What an improvement, I don't think any basketball team has ever made that big of an improvement in one year. 1991-92 67 15 .817 1996-97 69 13 .841 These two Bulls teams should be on there as well.

    So, anybody think

Eugene will pull a Tajiri/Benjamin, and win by DQ. If he can beat Kane by DQ before his title match at the PPV, he could beat HHH. If Eugene wins by DQ, Bischoff could call it off or something. I thought Edge was supposed to face Benoit at Vengence?
  20. theintensifier

    Kane vs Benoit

Because it gets old hearing Kane is great, and Kane's matches are classic.
  21. theintensifier

    Kane vs Benoit

This Evil Blood guy doesn't know what the hell he is talking about. Kane won't turn face, and it would be stupid if he did. What is Jim Ross going to say when he announces his matches "Kane beat me up, and set me on fire, but he's a good guy with morals and compassion." Also, calling any match with Kane invovled a classic is insane. And saying it was better than Benoit/Angle RR '03 is fucking stupid as hell. I thought this forum was the Smart Marks?

Eddie Guerrero snaps on fans at Germany show

What's the big fucking deal? All you guys that said he needs to control his temper are pussies. Shooting is one of the coolest things in wrestling. These kinds of things happen in wrestling, it's no suprise, and definatly nothing to get worked up by. Like Kido said, he's a grown man and can anything that he wants too. I find it funny how people say it was unprofessional of him to do that. IT'S IN A WRESTLING SHOW!!!!! Those things happen, and if someone has a problem with it, DON'T GO!!! I find it funny, that noone said anything about JBL doing the Nazi Salute, but they jump all over Eddie for speaking the truth. Sure, JBL's Nazi Salute could have been a work, but how do we know? And if it was a work, then everyone should be pissed at Vince McMahon for coming up with it. Same thing goes for Eddie, we don't know if it was a work or shoot. But it doesn't matter if it was either one, stuff like that is almost guaranteed in a wrestling show, like when the face is being booed, they are going to play off that.
