I think it's more

Must be an Xbox thing cause my PS3 version froze like once and that was after playing my sixth game of the day with no breaks. I love NCAA 09 a lot more than Madden. Both are passing defense nightmares though. I played Madden 02 yesterday and it was honestly shocking to see the defense AND the offense was better 7 years ago than it is now. I really wish they would undo what they did in an effort to make it more fun for arcade style players. Cause a 56-52 game between Arizona and Dallas is ungodly unrealistic.

I don't think Jeff is a screw up anymore, I think he's a guy whose body just cannot take the punishment anymore. He's been a pinball for so long and it always seems after awhile, he fails a drug test after a long stretch of beatdowns and brutal matches. He might literally be using drugs to deal with the pain in his back, knees and every muscle he has. Hell, failing a drug test seems to be the only way Jeff can get a vacation in the E. At the end of the day though, he's unreliable because of that. Jeff will need to remain stable with zero screw ups for a lot longer before they put the belt on him I think. Heck if he holds together, he might get it at Mania. Either that or MITB, which would lead to a title. Course to put him in MITB would be to put his body through more hell....

After seeing a preview with KURT COBAIN as an Unsolved Mystery, I'm out.

What does Smackdown have left? Kennedy is hurt, MVP and the rest have been left battered and need rebuilding after the great HHH (really short sighted considering their move to a new network), Khali I guess has transfered to RAW (plus he's Khali) and Jeff Hardy just isn't trustworthy enough to give the ball. Of course HHH is stale again, his constant "I am the best, no one is better!" character isn't challenged in the slightest. A feud of someone HHH cannot overcome not named Shawn Michaels or Undertaker would be HUGE for the WWE and truthfully Hunter. It is an instant superstar builder and yet it's one they continue to refuse to use. Whether because HHH wants his spot protected, which is insane since he married the boss's daughter and doesn't need protecting, or because they have no faith in anyone but it's being a storyline consistently wasted. The big Russian bore would be a bad one to use it on unless we are returning to 1986. They need to find someone in FCW or on the midcard they feel is ready for elevation that hasn't been pedigree'd out of importance. That's all Smackdown needs, a feud where HHH ISN'T constantly proving he is the best in the world.

The real unsolved mystery is what stupid ass judge would let that guy be able to be bailed out. Shoots a man 4 times including blowing his head off with a shotgun, runs through police barricades, add in the minor exposed himself to children and yet...the judge thought bail would be acceptable. Talk about a lousy judge.

Knowing Sylar, his head would grow little legs and walk back to his body.

Oh come on, Squidbillies got awesome as did Frisky Dingo. The rest of those, yeah they were miserable garbage. But Frisky Dingo was just a superhero/supervillian version of Sealab. Probably why I grew to love the show.

That would work, but as soon as the hatian left he would heal the wound and be alive again. So couldn't the hatian just stay there as you chop his body up and then burn the carcass into ash? Pretty sure if there is nothing left that he's not reforming anytime soon. I mean if they really hate and fear the guy, then they should be willing to go the extra mile to kill him. Course knowing how this show is going, Peter would go into the future and see it even worse without Sylar and they would stop his death. Or worse, a Sylar clone would be running around killing people until he basically started acting like a chill Sylar.

Wait, Nuke marries Annie? Huh? Doesn't that just erase everything about the first film? Crash being a manager, yeah sure I can see that. Nuke being an owner....I don't know why but Nuke doesn't strike me as someone who would have saved money and invested wisely enough to be the owner of a major league baseball team. There is a lot about this that I don't like in the least. And Crash wasn't the hot head, Nuke was the hot head. Seems those roles should have really been reversed with Crash and Annie being the owners, Nuke being the manager who mentors the young kid.

But the flip side is, haven't they been punished enough now? I mean for their first error in judgment, they have been paying forever. It SEEMS like TNA is finally starting to lift that punishment a little and I hope so. Now if they do it again, I just don't know what will happen but I'm guessing the TNA roster page would be two people lighter.

The more I play Madden and NCAA, the more I realize I want the subdivision to be an actually part of the future NCAA franchise and I still want a expansion mode in Madden. I'm tired of playing as an established team, I want to be forced to build from scratch literally. Right now, every franchise has something to work with. I remember when the NBA series did that for the Raptors and...well I totally forgot who came in with the Raptors but that was a seriously fun mode. I sorta remember expansion mode existing in Madden 2002 when the Texans first showed up but I might be off on that. I might still be the only one waiting for that boat but dammit, I'm going to stay with it til the end!

Awesome show actually has great moments. The scene in my sig is one of them and the one with Abbey Brooks was great.

I thought for a long time they got a season order for Korgoth and it never came back. It's a shame, I enjoyed that pilot episode more than Fat Guy stuck in the internet.

1. That is actually a really tough question because no one is separating themselves this year. All of them have had a lousy game here or there. I'm going to go with Jay Cutler but it is REALLY close right now with about four or five who could be interchangeable. 2. Lorenzo Neal went to Baltimore. It's the same reason there running game is improved. Neal is one hell of a punishing lead blocker and even after he comes out, the defensive lines still act like they have been beaten to hell and back. The Chargers line looking dazed and confused on running plays isn't helping either so you have a nice combination of things. You could even say losing Michael Turner was a stinger. There is just a lot of things but I'm still saying Neal being gone is huge. Might be better to ask the Chargers fans though. 3. No, because now they can just focus on the run. Flacco is a rookie and they are still going to play it tight to their hip on him and count heavily on the ground game. Baltimore doesn't have enough offense to match up with Indy and three touchdowns is still too much for them. 4. How did he keep it this long? The Lions defense is horrible, the offense is obviously now being shown as completely from the mind of Mike Martz and Rod's team doesn't seem to have any hope for the future. Time to fire the coach, draft a future QB (Tebow perhaps?) and start building again. I'd go with Mike Singletary as the coach of the Lions, I think he is more than ready to take the reigns of that franchise. 5. Defense with an offense that doesn't make many mistakes can definitely get in the playoffs. The AFC is really looking wide open right now and defense is going to be the biggest key to making it. Titans have the defense to hold the top offenses at bay and the offense to put up points. I don't even think it's crazy to think they could win their division.

The NL Central is going to be interesting again next season. How about this time the Brewers win it and deal with the NL West? I know they can win it, hope they do. If I never see the NL West in the first round again, I will be more than damn thrilled.

So one year after "I'M A MAN, I'M 40!", Gundy has got Oklahoma State up to number 17 in the nation? WOW, that's just great. The guy has the potential to be the Jim Mora of college football coaches.

Looking at the Cubs, they are going to need a center fielder, possibly a right fielder depending on what happens with Fuko (he needs work, a lot of it to fix his swing), and they might want to still look into another pitcher. I hope the Cubs let loose Howry, I would like Kerry back but I'm not going to cry if he doesn't, Dempster I'd like to see back but I want Harden back before him and if they can get CC then I guess Ryan can leave. The team NEEDS a left handed bat with power but is more concerned with making contact and driving in runs. Fuko could become that but it all depends on whether or not he believes he has a problem with his swing and if Lou has any confidence left in him. I heard Carl Crawford would be available but I sorta remember the Rays having options on him til 2010. And I don't know if the Rays would consider dealing him or if the Cubs have anyone they could even bother to offer up. My dream, no chance in hell of happening 2009 Cubs. LF- Soriano CF- Crawford RF- DeRosa ( I have Fuko down in the minors, not done with the club, I don't blame him for nothing) C- Soto 1B- Lee 2B- Orlando Hudson (I don't think it's possible but I see it more likely than Roberts!) SS- Theriot 3B- Ram Dempster/ CC (either one, I'm fine honestly and I think Demp is the more logical conclusion) Zambrano Harden Lily Marshall (if they can find another pitcher, go for it) I don't see a reason for an overhaul, mainly finding new pieces who can solve the woes the team has. The team needed a spark the last two post-seasons and there was no offensive spark. Edmonds is going to retire and even if he doesn't, he'll be 39 or 40 next year so he'd be a good guy to have off the bench at best. It's not that I don't believe he can play it's just eventually his age will catch him and it's too much of a risk to hope his body handles an entire season again. The problem I'm seeing is I don't know if the Cubs have ANY money left. Unless they dump on of the contract three (Ram, Soriano, Lee) then I don't if they could afford anyone. I think they just need to find ONE bat More logical line-up LF- Soriano CF- Pie/Edmonds RF- Fuko? C- Soto 1B- Lee 2B- DeRosa SS- Theriot 3B- Ram P Zambrano Dempster Harden Lily Marquis I don't see the team as damaged so much as they have no confidence in the post-season. They need someone who can give them a match-up against right handed pitchers and who won't vanish in the post-season with the rest of them. To just leave this same right handed heavy line-up and hope it doesn't vanish for a THIRD straight season is insane. They need only a few pieces because I firmly believe most of it is still there. But time is running out on it again and it needs one more shove. ETA: Wait a moment, is Brian Roberts a free agent? Is there a list of free agents for next year that is actually accurate?

I don't even know how to accurately describe Appaloosa. It's not a bad movie, but it's VERY poorly edited and felt like a very rushed film. It's got comedy elements that feel very weird and the Viggo voice over work was actually extremely lackluster. Pacing is a serious serious problem with it and it uses up nearly every western cliche you can find. It is just an odd movie cause I don't feel like I was screwed but I don't feel satisfied with what I saw either.

Question to the Brew Crew fans: If you had to pick either Sheets or CC, who would you keep? I'm just asking cause I don't know what the odds are of you guys keeping both. Hell as a Cubs fan, I don't know what the story is with Harden cause I would love to see him come back to the Cubs next year. I just don't know who the two teams are in danger of losing to FA. Phils vs Dodgers could end up being a LOT of fun and really I am rooting for the Dodgers. Not just cause they knocked out the Cubs, but because I actually like Torre and think the guy got a LOT of hell when in NY. Nothing against the Phils though, I got no problem with them either. It's one of those series where either team winning is cool with me.

When you just LAUNCH the ball out of balls in the air, horrible doesn't begin to describe your onside kick attempt. Meanwhile Florida State has been doing everything in their power to lose to Miami. Not only that but they have a quarterback Christian Ponder who can only be safely called Chris Rix Jr.

"Scenario #2: He hung himself in his fucking closet." "Update: We still don't know where this fucking guy is." Actually it's Scenario #1: He's hanging by his neck in his fucking closet I still have the wav film on my computer with that and the "Update: We still have no fucking clue where this guy is" Man, Robert Stack was all kinds of awesome.

That show died when Robert did. The cameo of Robert and the show in "Baseketball" is really the funniest moment in the whole movie.
-
Has it premiered yet?

Even if they did, come playoff time the guy would make one mistake and get the Reche Caldwell "what just happened" stare that the whole team has.
