You had buses, you had National Guard and you had two empty lanes of a highway cleared for the buses to roll out of the city. Shame they didn't feel the urge to use them.

Because starting at 8pm doesn't allow for a big change in the game time. If you are willing to stay up to midnight, you are willing to make it to 9pm in the eyes of ABC. The extra hour allows them to run another program before football, thus freeing up an hour for them to toss a show into instead of holding onto a wasted pilot that has to wait for an opening. All about the money.

Hats off to both defensive coordinators, they have made HUGE adjustments in the locker room at the half. Both teams look good, not as good as you'd like but for the first week of the season they both look very good.

Why does anyone want the systems at launch when we know for a fact the PS3 will be buggy as hell, possibly with one that causes the discs to melt inside the system and that the Xbox360 will have some important part that has a 75% chance of bursting into flames if you leave it on too long. I know I'm waiting almost a year or more for a new system, when they release the second run that won't break down in year one.

Yeah, if the words of Kanye West or anyone "famous" can sway you on whether or not to give money to charity then you aren't much of a human to begin with. If you are going to give money, give the cash, keep your mouth shut you did it and move on with your life. I've never understood these celebrity pleas nor have I understood the "we'll hold a show to give people a reason to donate" thing. If people don't want to give for the sake of giving I don't see them being much of a good person to begin with. Do you walk up to the people at the Toys for Tots box and say, "I'll give you this toy IF you do a little dance for me." Charity concerts, yeah I get those. Ticket sales go to the charity, that's fine and dandy I suppose. Never understood some of this "entertain me then I'll pay for your dying kid" mentality.
