I'm pretty sure the match is just to allow Angle to beat the hell out of Eugene to set up the heel Eugene character where he just snaps and beats the hell out of anyone who laughs at him or mocks him in any way. Which might actually be fun, although it would feel like he was a mentally handicapped Bobby Boucher.

I'm going next weeked since I have a free ticket from buying Transporter on DVD. I don't expect a story at all, just Jason kicking lots of people in the face. If I get a movie of Jason kicking lots of people in the face, I'm happy. Some movies I expect a story (like the god awful cliche Skeleton Key) while some I just go "well that looks fun". Sounds like Trans2 falls into the area I was expecting. Great to hear.

Jackie was one of the few divas I found hot. And so was Gail Kim. Add in Charlie Haas with Gayda and I'm fine with the move, which I sure will include Dawn Marie at some point.

Not me, OU sucks because they have an offensive line that might struggle to start for the Norman Pop Warner football team. Thompson is not a bad quarterback, he's just bad for what they have around him. Thompson needs a short gain offense with a hard pounder ground game. What he has is a weak offensive line with a finesse back that forces him to stretch the field. If they plan to run this offense, they need to switch quarterbacks now.

I think it was the first one. I think he had something to prove to himself after not getting thrown the ball in the playoff game last year. He made the team when no one said he would so I think he just wants to tip his hat and walk off now. Perhaps even take up the Niners on a "sign and retire" to call it a career. Also, three teams in Texas? Do they really need three NFL franchises?

I think Auburn might have something to say about that. Unless you don't consider the god damn Citadel a jobber.

I have Iowa with at least three losses this year. Michigan they will lose, it'll cost em the share of the Big Ten. Ohio State game they will lose, not by much but they will. And I had them losing to Illinois as well as Northwestern. Don't ask me, I've just not been sold on them. I fully admit I am probably going to be 100% wrong on them though.

I don't see anyone in the Big 12 finishing with less than two losses to be perfectly honest. Texas is going to be one of my early season upsets. Young is good, but he's going to show that inconsistency very soon. OU can still win the conference because the conference is really that bad this year. Hell, Texas freakin Tech has a great shot of taking it. Texas will live and die on which version of Young stands up to take the field.

Spike isn't Spike TV, they're the Japanese development house that makes the Fire Pro Wrestling and King of Colosseum games (amongst others) which are excellent. I'd love to see them use the KOC engine and put out a game. They'd probably need EA or someone to distribute it in the states though. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well then see, now I retract what I said above. SPIKE would be the perfect god damn developer since I have been dying to get their wrestling games over here (without having to hack and convert). Those guys know their stuff and can seem to create any move known to man.

Who develops the Fire Pro Wrestling series in Japan? Is that AKI? As for Spike making a video game....umm, I think it would be great if they offered to promote the hell out of the game, but them making it makes about as much sense as approaching Eidos.

Or they could just give Giants stadium the operating costs cut and use the rest of the revenue as donation money since they are the New Orleans Saints.

I still don't get why Jubilee even exist. She always was a worthless whining little mutant. Where the hell is Kitty Pryde? I want to walk through some damn walls! One thing I know is Apoc better be almost impossible to defeat. Hell, I'd like to see the game where you have to face him multiple times through because his power levels are so high. What can I say? I think he should be able to nearly slaughter the team if he feels like it. Unlike Magneto, who was just plain pathetic in the first one. And get me more Sentinels, those suckers are fun to fight and kill. Especially when like four of them attack at once and surround you. The ultimate "oh shit" in an X-Men game.

The losses tonight for TAM and OU meant nothing really in the long run. The winner of the Big 12 will still get the trip to the National Title game. But unless OU finds a quarterback and some offensive linemen in the next 20 days, they are toast. Eventually all programs are going to hit a snag year and OU is hitting the snag year.

The Dish Network website is yet to acknowledge the existance of the channel, so I have no idea which package it is. Hope it's the 120 and not the 180, cause I actually have the 120.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Trish and Diva I don't know the name of vs Torrie and screech voice Candice or a horrible rematch between Diva Search and Victoria. Either way, I'm sure a terrible Diva match will make the PPV.

Is this a generalistic prediction, or do you have a specific game in mind? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I have quite a few actually, but I need to see the teams playing before I make the call. Some of the so called "top ten" really aren't good enough to be in the top 25. The bottom conferences are going to do a lot of damage this year, a lot of damage. The OU/TCU game I called a couple weeks ago because I just didn't think OU had anything to change my mind. Bad line with no quarterback and depleted defense means loss. I don't need to see a team play to figure out that one.

Well, when you are in full fanboy mode it means you are going to ignore the team's faults or not even bother to learn about them. When you are in sports writer mode, you look for the faults and the positives so you know going in what to expect in a sense. Fandom just screams "BOOMER SOONER" and when faults are mentioned, scream back "PFFT! PETERSON! PETERSON!" Course, as today demostrated, Peterson isn't going anywhere without an offensive line. OU is in a full out rebuilding year, his recruits from the Clayton and White years on offense were par at best and he only really got a few above average defensive recruits. As I said, I'm not shocked by this at all. I knew Stoops and OU were in trouble when he still wasn't ready to really name a starting QB at the start of the season. That is never a good sign, and when you break out that "both very talented" line it is basically saying "I really have nothing". TCU is not a bad team though, they were a defense away from being well above .500 last year. Look on the bright side, OU didn't lose to Baylor. And no, this is not the upset of the year. You'll see a very big one here in the next few weeks, a VERY big one.

I said it elsewhere in a college football preview I did for money, I don't see Oklahoma finishing with more than 8 wins this year. They just really are not that good offensively and their defense isn't good enough to make up for the mistakes of their offense like previous years.

Stoops learned something all coaches learn: two quarterbacks rotating in and out does not work. And I doubt OU falls that far, I say down to #18.
