Might be more a play on the good guys don't trust each other and are usually one man armies. It's a very DTA universe. Everyone protecting themselves, trying to bring down evil by themselves and overall keeping even the ones they think they can trust out of the loop.

I honestly don't think Christian has any major interest in returning to the WWE unless TNA shafts him. The guy seemed like he enjoyed his free time and was making a nice paycheck while working a much lighter schedule. I can't see TNA shafting him since he is currently one of the youngest top card guys they have. And hell for a while, carried TNA on his back in terms of being the main man. I'm hoping he doesn't go back to the WWE, I don't want to see him once again being the midcard lackey of Edge. He's past that. As for Foley...uggh why? Can't he just retire or something? Now it's going to be him plugging books in TNA. The only positive is the cheap pop "RIGHT HERE IN" can only be used once not counting PPVs.

It's sounds like another case where protecting the children outweighs letting some kid who isn't doing anything wrong use the gift while he has it. You usually don't see those speeds until a kid hits 12 or so. Plus 40 WITH control at the age of nine? Damn! It's not extreme but he's ahead of the curve with it.

Sounds like the guy shouldn't even enter the Scramble. If he's this bad, they might want to run an injury angle tonight and bench him before it becomes even worse. They have enough names on RAW to survive without Cena and it sounds like he really REALLY needs some rest. I imagine the finish to the match with Batista didn't do his neck any favors either.

Hasn't Obama said he wants a VP who isn't afraid to disagree with him? Biden has disagreed with a lot of Obama's stands and hasn't been afraid to voice a real opinion (even a few that might be seen as stupid). Having a guy at VP who once supported the war but now realizes he was wrong isn't a bad thing, it's actually a positive. A lot of the independent voters actually might have agreed with the war at the start as well but now realize it has become a farce of what it was meant to be; those individuals are the ones Obama needs to snag as well to win the election. He can't just go into this with the "THE WAR WAS WRONG FROM THE START" attitude, he needs to show he can bring in people who saw another side to the coin but realize the current prez blew it badly. He needs a VP who is different from him to show that yes, he can accept more than one viewpoint into his future White House and the future US government. It's vital if he wants to prove he's not like every other politician. Yes, Biden is a democrat but it's not like Obama could pick a republican as his VP. Although honestly if he could have found one who fit, I would have been more than fine with it. His party would have roasted him, turned their back on him, demanded his head on a platter and called him a turncoat for it though so that was no chance.

Why is it Madden still sucks with realistic drafting? On what planet are the Bengals going to re-sign Carson Palmer to a 5 year deal and then draft 5 quarterbacks! FIVE! They currently have a 8 man quarterback depth chart; that's just god damn insane. The Saints used their first and second round picks on kickers and Dallas cut Tony Romo to name Patrick Ramsey the starting quarterback while trading out of the first two rounds to draft a punter in the third. What the hell is going on here?

Speaking of Coach, christ does he suck on ESPN lately. The guy is struggling hard with live updates on ESPN2 during Mike & Mike, he is flubbing words bad and he can't seem to rebound well from them (usually flubs a word then follows it up with back to back screw ups). Hopefully he rights his ship, the guy was a pretty decent announcer for the college football games I watched on CBSSPORTS and could be a good play by play guy this season for the ESPN2/Classic games.

Every time they do something positive, they follow it up with every possible negative they can.

No, they waited for the film to generate serious positive buzz and show it will probably be a first weekend hit. If the film had been booed at the trailer showing and no magazine did a positive story on it, FOX wouldn't have said a word. The moment it looks like they screwed up and might lose cash, NOW it's something to sue about. Great, just great. One of the two films I was really looking forward to seeing might now be gone.

They did give the reaction of both according to Michael Cole which apparently was, "Eh, I'll win it again, no big deal." I'm thinking Jericho does get added to the scramble but HBK comes out, they brawl right out of the place and brawl Jericho out of the match. Probably would work better, unless they plan to let Punk get the win back and then Jericho loses to HBK. Of course that scenario would leave Jericho completely useless again.

I actually got worn out by some of the boring romantic storylines they swung out there. Maybe because most of them had absolutely zero romantic chemistry with and it destroyed the illusion. The rest of the show was good but the addition of the laugh tracks and those storylines killed it for me. I really didn't think it was canned early, it was one of those shows I felt had ran its course when it got the axe. I don't know, stuff just stopped clicking. Probably 100% the networks fault but eh, a lot of the characters were becoming increasingly unlikable as well.

Look, Jericho is being set up as the main heel right now after JBL. He needs to be in the title match, this ending gets him into the title match. Now Punk can beat him clean at Unforgiven for the final pin to retain. It's actually smart booking. Chris becomes an even bigger EFFECTIVE heel, Punk has more to prove than ever before going into the toughest match of his life and he'll come out of it still the champion. So he just lost a non-title match in his hometown. It's the perfect way to keep Jericho burning strong and it keeps Punk with his "gotta keep proving myself" character. They might have been able to do it next week but then who does Punk face? JBL again? Pull a TNA and break out the re-match the very next show? They needed to get Jericho in, they got Jericho in. And if Jericho isn't in, well then yeah it looks like a lousy move. If it all ends with Jericho losing to Cena next week, then yeah, it was a waste of time and can't be seen in any positive light.
