I remember it somewhat. The belief amongst the soldiers was state's rights, the problem was the Confederate Congress wasn't about the state's rights at all. They just wanted to keep their slaves for money and easy labor.

My only problem with the whole North vs South thing is that people who know nothing about the Civil War immediately assume that all soldiers and generals fighting for the south were racist. Which they weren't. Most of them didn't care, hell some of them had never owed a slave nor did they support slavery. The main leaders of the Confederate Congress who didn't fight? Yeah, they were racist dirtbags. Davis especially. Most of the generals though were only fighting because their state was involved and didn't want to see their homes burned to the ground. The sad thing is all southern soldiers are believed to be racist while all northern soldiers are believed not to be. But odds are the ratio between the two sides was dead even more than anything.

So Willis went from Ben Affleck to Justin Timberlake. Is that a step up or step down? And wait, Jessica Simpson auditioned for a part? Please tell me she didn't get it cause a movie with Timberlake AND Simpson might cause the world to collapse in on itself. Add in Clay Aiken and this might be the greatest train wreck of a movie in history.

It's good but I've had enough with these "all doctors are heroes" shows. I want to see a show that has a high number of doctors who could care less about their patients and can't be bothered to help them unless they have a 7 digit bank account. A show full of bad doctors and maybe one good doctor would rule.

If Hassan had leveled Eugene, Hogan and HBK tonight he would have already been a major heel. NOTHING makes a major heel like laying out the legendary Hulk Hogan after a big dramatic entrance. You could have had Hogan lay out Davari and Hassan hit him the back with a chair or something and have just dealt with Hogan. Screw the mark out moment, think of the damn company and future for once. I don't like the Hassan character, but it has heel potential that I cannot deny.

Seriously though, I was shocked he only took 6 minutes to tell us all how great he was. I thought he'd need another 5-10 You just know he has a little notebook in the back with the amount of time he didn't use that he plans to use on an overextended boring promo at a later date. And yeah, Batista really got second fiddle on this show bad. Not to mention, I don't even see the logic in him beating Orton this early when they have so few heels in the company at the moment. I guess cause Orton is leaving for surgery?

No clue what 2k5 has, I haven't bothered with a minor league game. I might though, hell I'd rather run a minor league franchise to be honest. Be more fun to have the majors call up my best player and send me down some burn out player or some garbage acquired player they will release at the end of the season. There seems like there would be a certain amount of difficulty and fun to have no control over who stays on the team and who goes. I'm tempted to play a franchise where the computer handles all trades and signings just to see what they leave me with.

World Champion Edge? Come on, I'd have a hard time buying IC champion Edge with his heel persona he has now. It's incredibly bad, so bad that it's hilarious to watch. Every week watching him strain his face like he is having a bowel movement because he is intense.

Cause promos run long (for example, Austin) and commercial time limits what they can and can't do. With Smackdown, they can edit down the promos and the matches where with RAW they are stuck with the gameplan. Easier to overrun than constantly cut important promos and slice down the main event or any match in between so badly that the match becomes pointless.

I don't buy the NBC specials, at all. Every year we hear this, we heard this when WWE signed with Viacom. NBC will find a way to wiggle out of that part of the deal, perhaps even blame sagging ratings. I don't like seeing Velocity go. Now you have more guys with nothing to do that will either be cut or fired. I'm seeing a lot of areas where this deal could end up hurting the WWE more than helping but they really had no other options. I see too many grey areas.

I'm currently using them to improve my horseshoe throwing skills. I am going to dominate the picnic this year dammit.

Maybe she hates Peter Angelos' guts Or she hates the Orioles in general. There was nothing positive about 1988 for the Orioles. Even Cal played like crap that season. That was an amazing team. The Orioles had TWO infielders fail to break a .270 slugging percentage. Well, they did have Billy Ripken. When Billy hit a homerun off of you, it was time to question your abilities to pitch in the majors.

Some anchor woman on Channel 13 in preparation for the O's game said she hopes the Orioles have another memorable season like 1988. The Orioles finished 54-107 in 1988!
