God, talk about proving there is no life after drama club. I haven't heard over the top line reading like that since the X-Men cartoon when Storm would talk.

When they kicked that field goal, they nailed their own coffin shut. I nearly ordered a "Thank you" basket of meats and cheeses for Cowher for pussing out. I was literally left STUNNED by that decision. And it was the first time I ever said before the 0:00 was on the clock "....New England just won this game" As a Patriots fan, that was like a gift from Bill Cowher to take a field goal.

The only dynasty I hated was the Dallas Cowboys. Mainly for that "America's Team" bull.

I just went to see Finding Neverland cause my gf wanted to see it...I left absolutely thrilled I had seen the movie. Outstanding, much better than Aviator. Dustin Hoffman was unbelievably hilarious in it as well.

I was ready to say it was alcohol...until they continued to type like that Monday afternoon and this morning. I really don't understand all this trash talking. We the fans aren't playing the game so why are any fans trash talking? The trash talking is more annoying and more pathetic than people who say "we won" if you ask me. Now if you want to trash talk and then settle it in a football game...sure, talk away. Otherwise, what the hell?

Answer for everyone in the "How the hell" group: Comedy falls second to old guy. Remember, Jim Carrey was believed to be well on his way to a nomination for...Truman Show I think it was and the old man riding the lawnmower, who no one had on their long list let alone short one, knocked him out. The Eagles fans on here have been tame to some of the ones I've encountered lately. The best one threatened to drive to my house and kick my ass for disagreeing with his wonderfully complex agrument of, "The Patroits wil lose bcause they aer pussiees". So far the ones on this board have been a breath of fresh air. Least they can spell and aren't acting like complete morons. Plus I've seen reasons presented, which is always better than "DAWKINS WILL KILL THAT WIMP BRADY CAUSE BRADY SUX!!"

Bingo. The Patriots were in trouble, their backs were against the wall and the Steelers defense was beyond pumped. The crowd was alive and back in it. A trip to the Super Bowl is on the line. So what do you do....kick a field goal, kill your crowd, make the Patriots defense regain confidence since they kept you out of the end zone and just end your chance at the Super Bowl. I expected the Steelers to go for it and no chance in hell would I be second guessing Cowher had he went. He had the crowd, he had the momentum and he had one of the best defenses in the NFL on their heels. No guts, no glory. Cowher had no guts, the Steelers fans didn't get to celebrate the glory.

Corey Dillon acted like a jerk on a losing team. Moss acts like a jerk on a team that is in the playoffs and winning. Dillon had hope and was more interested in just winning than stats by this point. He was very much like Harrison, just wanted to prove he was still useful. What does Randy have to prove that will effect him? Teams don't seem to mind his attitude so it's not like he needs to change it.

Speaking of which, what the HELL was the Academy thinking getting Rock to host? Chris Rock....the censors are going to need to work overtime on this one. And I said Bill's losing was depressing...he looked like he was going to hang himself after the show. And I agree, Sean Penn was better but Jude Law is the most overrated actor of our time imho.

Hate to say it, but knowing Jim's luck he'd die before he found out he was getting the nomination. He has given THREE amazing performances and everytime the Academy has told him "not good enough Mr. Carrey...TRY HARDER!!" And Paul Giamatti has now given back to back mind blowing performances, probably the second best performance of 2004 behind Foxx, and he gets the snub. If Robin Williams gets to present, he should unload. Robin has a tremendous amount of respect for Paul and Jim and them getting snubbed along with Bill losing in the most depressing fashion last year must not sit well. Someone has got to stand up and tell the Academy off. Robin has his Oscars so he shouldn't care.

There is one thing you can officially, 100% without a doubt now say. The Academy views Comedy Actors as the red headed step-child of the film industry.

Hell yes Rock will. Everyone and their mother agrees the best performance was Foxx. There would be no excuse for Foxx not to win the Oscar. And if Leo gets it, Rock will snap. Which is why if they move the Best Actor award to the final one of the night...I'll get a bad feeling.

The Aviator is really getting the "Give Martin his Oscar" nominations cause it really wasn't that great of a film. It was good but it just didn't say "Best Picture" when I saw it. And "Ray" was average at best, Jamie made that film into something. It was poorly paced and was not one of the best films of the year. Hell, as much as I hate to say it, I'd have put "Closer" ahead of "Ray". And I hated "Closer" with a passion. Glad for Alda though, he really did save Martin's film from being just average at best.

Leo was assured the Oscar this year. I'm absolutely STUNNED that Paul Giamatti got screwed, there is no excuse for that. Carrey getting snubbed isn't a shock, we all saw it coming. And Jim needs to realize that he'll never get an Oscar nomination until extremely late in his career. He is the Susan Lucci of Nominations.

Lemme get this straight Paul Giamatti and Jim Carrey: NO! SCREW YOU BOTH AGAIN! Clint Eastwood: WE LOVE YOU CLINT! And "Ray" was very much like "Man on the Moon". Take out the lead actor and the film isn't even tolerable. I hope Jamie Foxx wins twice. Better yet, I hope he doesn't win JUST so the Academy can prove themselves to be completely and utterly worthless.

I liked the Razzies more when they didn't get political. Wasting nominations on the Bush gang is stupid. Plus he'll probably win for the "LOLBUSHWONARAZZIELOLOLOL" effect. I mean, leaving off the man that played Dracula in Van Helsing? Leaving out those stupid vampire women?!?! Subtract them and Van Helsing isn't that horrible. The Razzies are now no longer fun or even funny. Be like the Academy nominating "The Substitute 4" for Best Picture.

Has anyone SEEN the Dudleys in a few months? Knowing the WWE, they forgot they employ them.
