So will Utah, cause they'll be screwed out of a major bowl bid.
-
If anyone says that, they are mentally unstable. The problem this year is all three teams had business being in the game. If anyone points to the "dominating" win over Colorado as a reason Oklahoma deserves to be in over Auburn, they are unstable as well. All three teams deserved the shot to go for it. Instead, for the second straight season we have a team screwed. Only this year, the title won't be split.
-
Ok, now here is where Auburn is in dangerous territory. They need another touchdown, they need to run up the score. But if they try it, they risk a turnover and allowing the Vols back into the game. However, if they don't score and end up with a controlling win then no chance they gain votes. So what should the Tigers do? Run it up or just run it out?
-
Well with the Vols giving the Tigers a run and the Buffs deciding they apparently would rather spend more time wondering what time the IHOP closes than play football, it looks like the Sooners will get their second straight chance to win a National Championship. They lose this year and I doubt VERY highly that the voters even look at them next season if we have another one of these three way ties.

I think it decided to stay at the hotel with the Tennessee pass defense. 38-28, the SEC is quite simply the hardest conference in 2004 and it's screwed.

Well now that Meyer is gone....I hope ND goes down in flames. -
Vince has to create another wrestling boom, he needs another Hogan, Austin or Rock that makes wrestling seem cool again. Wrestling seeming cool and a company with a smart business model could grow. Right now, wrestling has been reduced to the shadows once again. I don't see another boom for ten years. The wrestling landscape is once again about to be reduced to just the boring WWE style.

I do... Oh I want THE SCHOOL to go down, but not Meyer. Notre Dame can sink like a rock for all I care, just not taking Meyer with them.
-
The thing is I don't want ND to go down the toilet cause that would mean they would take Meyer with them. Willingham is a great coach, I still believe that and the fact he got tossed in the path of a freight train and nearly got the school through with their legs still attached is a statement. The problem is the boosters didn't like him and at ND now, they control the school more than any program in college. Texas should fire Brown and hire Ty. Mack Brown has been giving more chances to win the big ones than should be humanly acceptable. Let Brown go to Cleveland where they know they won't win the big one but at least playoffs would be more than acceptable.
-
No he won't, cause Tony didn't believe Notre Dame had any right to fire Ty. And I agree with both of them. ND has never fired someone before honoring their first contract, it just has never been done. This is a weak firing and considering that schedule, ND was lucky they won the games they did. Horrible, horrible decision. Willingham will either end up back at Stanford or will be in the running for the Gator position. Hell, he might even step up at Utah.

Other than Maria and Stacy, that was an entire ring of useless hirings. That and the Manbeast Melina, who I could have sworn was Juvi in drag after putting on some weight.

Started putting duck tape over your mouth to prevent the chicken goodness from leaving huh? I hear ya man.

Enough of the Div I-A bull of never getting a real national champion. Time to focus on teams that actual use a crazy concept of deciding it on the field. DIVISION I-AA PLAYOFFS #1 Southern Illinois was upset by #16 Eastern Washington, 35-31 #2 Furman rolled over #15 Jacksonville, 49-7 #3 William and Mary knocked off #14 Hampton, 42-35 #4 Georiga Southern lost to #13 New Hampshire, 27-23, the first ever first round loss for Georiga Southern Other games in the tournament #5 Sam Houston St hammered #12 Western Kentucky, 54-24 #6 Montana crushed #11 Northwestern St. 56-7 #7 Lehigh got caught off guard by #10 James Madison, 14-13 and finally Defending champion and #8 Delaware defeated #9 Lafeyette, 28-14 Offically, the teams after four do not receive seeds but they were the host schools and it's obvious where they are seeded. So your second round is as follows: #16 Eastern Washington vs #5 Sam Houston St #6 Montana vs #13 New Hampshire #3 William and Mary vs #8 Delaware #10 James Madison vs #2 Furman

With the players the Niners have, they should trade. They need players more than they need one. Go down to five or six and grab a WR or defensive help. The Niners have so many areas of concern that just keeping the pick might be foolish.
-
I won't be shocked if they break out the plastic bags. The Saints fan have got to be tired of this.

Vick and Crumpler just helped Jim Hasselett get fired 20 yard touchdown pass. 24-21 Falcons.

Well it looks like Seattle will lose, so they'll be 6-5. A loss to Dallas(highly unlikely)next week makes them 6-6, so if the Eagles win and go to 11-1, Seattle then wouldn't be able to catch them in the conference race if they won the NFC West. Also a win over Green Bay and a Minnesota loss gives them both 5 losses and the Eagles would have 11 wins, and the Eagles would hold head-to-head tiebreakers over both of them. But the Rams will be leading the West if they win Monday night, not the Seahawks. Wait...I got it now. This is assuming the Packers win over the Rams thus knocking them out.

The Patriots really should make sure to hold onto Troy Brown till he wants to retire. The guy can play any position at any time and gets better and better. I'd bet if you let Brown play quarterback, he'd have a three td game in just three weeks. Not to mention I think they could easily convert him to a corner if they wanted to go after another receiver. I need his jersey, right now.
-
New England took over this game in the second half. It went from defensive war to Patriot adjustments. I'm still impressed as hell by the Ravens D, but they got dominated on the line here in the second half. Never thought I'd see that.

I'm happy cause now Shannon Sharpe sounds like a bigger moron.
-
Yeah, if you avoid that historic Baltimore Colts franchise.

If this holds true, and sadly I've heard stories like this before, then this is great news for Stem Cell research. More than good, outstanding news. But I want to make sure this story holds true before I start doing backflips. I've been faked out too many times by stories like this.
