Groom Shot & Killed By Police On Wedding Day
2GOLD replied to milliondollarchamp's topic in Current Events
I smell a NYC tourist campaign in the works. Since you know, they spell relief N-O-T G-U-I-L-T-Y! I think that my additional problem with it, the bald white guy who comes up and acts like the Giants just won the Super Bowl again. They could have at least TRIED to handle it with a little more class and work towards trying to improve already strained relations. But instead, nah, let's celebrate. 50 times...I don't care the reason, if there isn't gunfire coming out of the car then you shouldn't need to reload. -
Was Chevy Chase busy making a ZOOM sequel?

Not to mention Steve McNair before all of this and John Taylor was a pretty damn good target on the other side of the Niners field. Flacco threw the ball extremely well on the run with zip, that's about the only other thing I saw. The NFL right now needs quarterbacks like that. If the Ravens are smart and have a good quarterback coach then he still becomes a great pick for them. Poor coaching and they run the risk of Kyle 2.0

The understanding I get about that situation isn't he couldn't beat out Palko, it was Dave wasn't going to even let him compete with Palko. Then when he wanted out of Pitt to get a chance to compete, Pitt refused to let him out of his scholarship so he had to pay for entire year at Delaware. The one thing I think being overlooked with Flacco by the scouts is...he had himself a VERY good running attack at Delaware with Omar Cuff and his line was pretty strong. Regardless of level of competition (which honestly I think means DICK when judging whether or not someone can be a good NFL player), there are a lot of things which made me believe he wasn't a first round quarterback.

Jesus, when did Mick Foley turn into the lead singer of the country group Alabama?

Brohm is going to be a better pro then Matt Ryan, just watch. That's not really saying much. There's a lot of QBs coming out, but nobody that really grabs at me as a "Wow I must have that guy." Andre Woodson maybe before his draft stock plummetted, would have been a possible guy like that. Just curious... How did Woodsons draft stock dropped so badly? I remember him being a mid-1st rounder at one point. Poor performance in games late in the season, started to show trouble with mechanics, and had an average pro day at best. Matt Ryan is a huge gamble. He doesn't have the arm to make up for his poor decision making skills. In the NFL, a really strong arm can make up for making those passes into double coverage but Ryan's arm just isn't that strong. Flacco probably has the strongest arm in the draft so he can make those crazed bullet throws into double coverage work but there are questions about the system he played in and whether or not he'll be a Bledsoe-like statue. He's a project but the arm strength is what every scout is loving about him. He has an NFL arm, without question. Teams feel like they can develop everything about him into something more.

There is ZERO way to predict who can be a good parent and who can't. What exactly do you put on the test that any moron couldn't answer? It's a waste of time and money. Not to mention the constant lawsuits that will be filed which means millions more spent on court costs just trying to explain a licensing system that will make no logical sense to begin with. It'll accomplish nothing but being another useless state and government program that spends millions to billions of dollars every year to be nothing more than worthless.

I actually felt kinda uninterested in this episode. I mean yeah there was some cool stuff but a lot of it just wasn't clicking for me. The Baltar convo and the Cylon gun down scene were cool but the rest just felt off to me. Even Adama being a pissed off bad ass didn't work for me like it usually did. Wasn't as nice and smooth as the first episode, something just felt clunky.

Now that's just crazy talk! I actually find this story fun, it's like a modern day Romero and Juliet only with a child instead of the suicide.

Post here if you dislike Will Ferrell...

This character he has been playing for the last 5 movies was funny for like the first two times. Now it's tired and it needs to go away. On the flip side, I thought he was outstanding in Stranger than Fiction and I actually like it when he tries to do something different. Just he doesn't seem to be trying ANYTHING different anymore cause it doesn't make him cash. It's a shame, I think he might be able to be a strong dramatic actor. But I stopped caring about his current crap after Blades of Glory. It just needs to stop. -
Tied to an exploding nuke singing "Highway to Hell" at the tender age of 59. Something tells me it might be hard to accomplish.

I've chatted with a few people who went to some early screenings and it's been really positive response. Which is good cause I've been wanting to see this for awhile now.

So they did it to put it on youtube and it ends up being broadcast on every news station in the country. So instead, they got more exposure and they got their names out there as well. Can you say

I'll always remember him as the gas station attendant in Wayne's World 2 that made Wayne cry as he was looking for the church on Gordon Street. I'll fire off a shotgun in his honor later Thanks Chuck!

I'm an O's and Cubs fan and all I got to say about the Orioles is I'm watching the development of the outfield. Shortstop is a black hole of suck and I haven't heard one damn thing about anything good in the minors there. First base is being handled by Kevin f'n Millar and Melvin Mora will be gone by mid season if he's hitting and anyone wants him. They aren't finding .500 They'll be lucky to find .300 It's a year to just watch the minors and hope something good shows up down there at 1B, SP, SS and the like. Least the outfield appears set for the future until one of them wants money and is dealt. I don't see what Marvin did wrong though talking about the future catcher, doesn't seem like that big of a deal. Updating about the Orioles every two minutes like he does with the Ravens? Yeah, that might be a bit crazy.

Be interesting if the little girl is now a huge supporter of John McCain. Why can't they just find a Clinton supporter with a little girl, film her sleeping and then make the ad? Is there a rule that says they can't film 20 seconds of a child sleeping to use in an ad?

I don't want to see Davidson eliminated. Stephen Curry is the most interesting thing in the whole damn tournament.
-
Stone has actually gone on the record in that he doesn't believe in 9/11 conspiracy theories. When Stone doesn't believe you, you know you are god damn crazy. I just want to know if we will see a scene of W choking on a hard pretzel in like slow motion with dramatic music playing and sudden shots of Val Kilmer as Bill Clinton telling him, "I told you W, cheeseburgers"

Since it's all the same damn group of guys doing it, I'm pretty sure they won't stop until the box office numbers tell them too. I'm just waiting for Movie Movie to be released.

A free can? Pfft, cheap bastards. Call me when they offer a whole bottle.

You know though, this gives a great argument to any man who doesn't want kids! "HOW CAN YOU WANT KIDS?!?! THINK OF THE WORLD THEY'LL GET, IT'S A DEATH SENTENCE! HOW CAN YOU DO THAT TO SOMEONE?!?!" This is all kinds of screwed up news truthfully.

Actually last I heard, Dustin is on a pay by night basis and not under contract. Unless that changed, he would still count. And all I want is the return of the master and the ruler of the world: SID Oh and Tajiria cause I miss that crafty little guy.

I think so. Cage's first PPV was beating Brown for the #1 contendership, then teamed with Sting against Brown and JJ. As for Monty, I would think if he returned to wrestling, he'd go back to WWE before TNA. Along with the money aspect, I seem to remember reading that he left on good terms and would be welcomed back at any time if he decided to return. Hard to say. TNA would have the advantage being close to his gym and family with less time working on the road. Wrestling always seemed like it was a hobby to Monty, not so much a career option. I don't know if that would keep working for the WWE.

The Grandma is back in Meet the Browns, I'll have to go see it. And isn't this like the 700th Tyler Perry movie to be released in the last two years? It seems like every month now there is a "Tyler Perry's" something being released with zero promotion but still raking in between 15-20 million.

Stephen Curry might be the best pure shooter in college basketball. He just doesn't seem to want to miss EVER when the game is running short. Clearly the best way to stop Davidson is to triple team Curry. Better yet, put all five guys on him and see if anyone else on Davidson can score points. I don't know if they can because I only recall two of them taking a shot in the last ten minutes. One missed and the other scored because Curry made a pass he shouldn't legally be allowed to make.
