I'd support a Rice/Dole ticket because they're not total bitches. I'd vote Dole, just because seeing Bob walking around the White House doing the work of a First Lady would be awesome. Elizabeth isn't horrible, I might consider voting for her if I heard more of her thoughts on the issues at hand. Rice? No way. She scares me.

Ok, if this is the view of the entire Democratic party...then they have lost their minds and SHOULD see if Alan Keyes wants to join. You'd think the intelligent Democrats would jump ship and try to build up an Independent party to counteract the insanity within their party. These are all admirable causes, but again, let's just wait and see what he does in the Senate. And by the way Ditka would've kicked his BUTT. He could just run on asinine slogans like "Let's score a touchdown for America!" and Chicago would get his support, because come on. What kind of a Bears fan would vote AGAINST Mike Ditka? It's not like Chicago Democrats would say "now let's thoughtfully evaluate the issues to ascertain that Mike Ditka would be the better choice to represent us." They're Chicago Democrats, fer cryin' out loud Ditka is god. If the Republicans made it a ticket of Mike Ditka/Michael Jordan, then Obama would have been slaughtered. Illinois LOVES them some Mike Ditka.

Ummm, actually Johnson got us into Vietnam the most. Kennedy was ready to get us out of it when he took a bullet to the head iirc. Kennedy was probably one of the Presidents that most divided the country I think. It doesn't seem anyone I have ever talked to about the Kennedy years was indifferent to him. They either really really loved him or were really really glad someone shot him in the head. Most President have lunatic fringes for and against them with many undecided voters....Kennedy it seems was either loved or hated beyond belief.

NBC's poll found that the youth vote did vote more for Kerry, but only by a slim margin. Like their parents, they were divided 50-50 on whether the war was a good idea. In short, aiming for the young isn't a good idea for Democrats, because they simply tend to follow in their parents' mold. Perhaps in a more rebellious age, it would prove a more successful tactic. But what if the young voters actually made the choice themselves and it had nothing to do with their parents? Some young people I know, 50-50 those who did and didn't vote for Bush still think the war was a good idea just poorly executed. For some of the young voters, it had nothing to do with their parents. They made a choice that the candiates were not that different and the war wasn't completely the wrong decision it was made out to be. And quite a few I had discussions with were very much pissed off by the "draft" talk since when they would research it, the only names popping up wanting to use the draft were with a (D) next to them. It is entirely possible some of these kids did rebel, only the other direction. Why is it impossible to believe some young voters turned on their Democratic parents and voted Republican?

Let me see. They blew 250,000 on a contract for Christy who is worthless since she will need to be trained at wrestling which is also pointless since they just cut three of the female wrestlers, they added a second PPV a month which doubles PPV costs, they are prepared to give 1 million to an unproven Tough Enough wrestler and the contract of RVD had to be re-upped plus who knows who else came up for re-signing in the last few months. And they STILL haven't finished paying off Mark Henry's contract from hell. So the cuts aren't shocking. Plus Rico was screwed when Jackie hooked up with Haas.

Can't believe Kerry pimped his plan for three months and then didn't tell us what his plan was.
