Good, now I can change this boring series. I swear, the Yanks-Red Sox are still the most unenjoyable games to watch cause I realize I like none of their fans and want neither of them to win. But it's much more fun to watch the Red Sox lose. Does Mussina have a ring?

I'd rather we just quit talking about Moore and treating him like he's a whining baby in the corner that isn't our child. A rebuttal film just gives him fuel since the ones who believe in the Moore movie would never believe in a movie that discredits some of the stuff he says. Stem Cell research is hope. That's it. We have next to nothing in terms of what it really can and can't do. And speculation is used to get funding, which should be basic human knowledge since anyone who has ever applied for a grant knows you BETTER be able to tell a lie that might be possible. Right now, AIDS, CANCER, and PARALYSIS are the grant funding buzz words. It'll be great to cure them but we don't have 100% proof that this will work at all. I support Stem Cell research but I'm not blinded by it. It's possible we could be decades away from making it pratical or finding out if it does anything and even the government can't say without a shadow of a doubt they won't rip away funding year after year. Neither party can truly say that. No matter, Edwards saying that was really really stupid.

Doing ANYTHING to cut tuition rates through gov't funds only leads administrations to skyrocket their fees again, since they can always find the money. -=Mike I swear, the Government designs the STUPIDEST plans on the planet no matter who is in charge. They all sound wonderful until you actually realize what the hell they would cost and what kind of backlash they would receive. Leaving Colleges bare for two years may be the stupidest idea the US government would ever think of. And if anyone thinks a college student will really love the idea of making time for National Guard duty on weekends to go along with College then you are crazy as crazy can be.

Hey, I like to think of the Republicans as evil just because. It was nice when I believed that if the crap hit the fan, I had the monster Republicans ready to destroy all that stood in their way. I don't like the openly evil Democratic party. It doesn't suit them. Like watching a hippie with a chainsaw. It just doesn't work for me.

Actually, the more I think about it we are still at least a decade away from finding out if stem cells can cure paralysis or not. I support the research but even I am not 100% sure it will cure all disease since there hasn't been enough study. It may help us move forward but I doubt it's the miracle cure it's being made out to be. So yeah, it actually was extremely stupid thing to say. I swear, Edwards is becoming the Democratic version of Dan Quayle.

Well yeah, but the last thing we need is for the government to GIVE them an excuse. Before it was just because they are greedy assholes. This would give them a defense so they wouldn't look like the greedy assholes they are. Basically.

This is old news actually. I myself am tired of Democratic supporters claiming "BUSH WILL BRING BACK THE DRAFT" when the only party that purposed the return was the Democratic party. Also, the plan as well as the draft actual never had anything to do with the war to begin with. It's meant to be a balancing factor since it is of common belief that only poor children join the military while the upper class who can afford college do not even consider the military. The plan is designed to even the playing field by forcing all high school students into the military before college. Course, they never explain what this would do to college costs since most university would see this as a reason to boast tutition even more.

Odds are the quote came before Reeves died, or Reeves will be the honorary image for a new foundation designed to use government funds to further pursue stem cell research. I see nothing wrong with what Edwards said.

Who told you that? I was following the project when it was going to possibly be about Al Gore and it was designed the same. It was never meant to be a message or a mockery of any President, it was designed to mock sitcoms. Parker and Stone aren't fans of Bush. They aren't even fans of Kerry. They dislike them both but they are among some of us who hate the "jump to conclusion" patrol.

Are they Pacific Pride? Not sure, but those guys were awesome. Ultra friendly, gas made my truck run like a champ, cheap prices, bitching hot dogs inside and they allowed you to use the toilet without purchase if you needed to. Now it's a crap station that wants way too much money and has a "buy before use" policy on the bathroom. Bunch of dickweeds.

Kile played for the Cardinals at the time of his death, though he did play for Houston (and Colorado) earlier in his career, so they probably honored him as well (don't remember if they did) As for Caminiti, his steroid confession wasn't much of a surprise to me, and neither was this This was my confusion. I was tired and was reading the Ken story about the same time as the Kile story.
