It's a crediblity issue is all. Are there upset soldiers in Iraq? Freaking duh, it's a warzone. Don't expect them to be eating tea and crumpets while singing campfire songs. I bet you could find soldiers who really hated WWII. It's a war. I have a problem when people see one letter and go, "SEE! Edwards really looked at certain times like he was going to fly across the table and choke Cheney with a cord.

That was bad. Edwards kept repeating the same stuff over and over again and his gay marriage thing really came off poorly. I can't believe I'm going to say this...I trust Dick Cheney more than John Edwards. This was really a smack in the mouth, Cheney was prepared and Edwards really had nothing. Everything he fired, Cheney answered back and made Edwards make a "pfft as if" face. I think we should all be glad Edwards DIDN'T win the nomination cause he would have been hammered into the ground. That was just sad. I'm still not voting for Bush, but damn Mike was right. Cheney laid a beatdown on Edwards. Ouch. This was just...ow.

That's a piss-poor argument. In a military engagement, people die. That's what happens in reality. If you can't understand that, you are a child. Just because people die in a military engagement doesn't mean that 'we are sending them over there to die', or that it's a 'quagmire'. These things happen. But to simply say that 'they are dying' ignores everything that they are actually doing over there: Stabilizing the first Arab Democracy in the Middle East. Yes, yes we should. We should have finished it back in 1990, but we didn't. Iraq has always been a threat, and we had to take care of it, especially in today's day and age. Iraq is "a threat", but not nearly a big threat compared to our other threats. What were they going to do to us? They had no WMD's. ...do to us? I hate Americans. I am one and I hate them.

NC-17 is a death sentence since most theaters will refuse to show it with that rating. Also near me, they card you when you buy the ticket, when you give the usher your ticket and before you go in the theater of the R rated movie.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. If Jim Carrey does NOT get a nod for this movie then God is dead. I did not think he could possibly put on a better performance after The Truman Show and Man on the Moon but he did. And what else has come out that deserves a nod? Right now I've seen David Carradine and Jim Carrey as deserving nods, of course Colin Farrell will get one for Alexander and just have to watch late October to mid December for the final spots.

I think the thing they are getting at is not the emailing and sending letters to the editor, it's the letters to the editor BEFORE the end of the debate stating that your candiate won. No one should have an issue with sending notes or letters, it's when you do it early or don't even use your actual thoughts that people call foul. That's just really pathetic and people should REALLY get a damn hobby or (in the words of Lewis Black) join a bowling league if you need to be part of a team that badly.

Carson Palmer is still essentially a rookie, the Bengals being good last year just messed up his development. He didn't get to see those blitz packages in a game time situation. Not to mention the Bengals defense has been streaky at best. It'll be interesting to see if they don't actually work on BLITZ PICK UP this week in practice for the Bengals.

In the games that matter The Jags have TIED the Colts in the fourth quarter with 11 straight points to make it 17-17. Meanwhile the Pats and Bills are tied headed into the fourth at 17-17 as well with the Pats at the Bills 33.

You haven't met many teachers, I take it? Considering I went out with one, I have two in my family that are teachers, three former classmates who are teachers, and I talk with teachers every day of my life...yes I have met many. Three of em just bought a new home after the lovely raise they were given. Teachers shouldn't get every dime of the school budget when textbooks are outdated and falling apart. Take care of the kids first, not the teachers. Every time the budget committee announces they have money for new equipment and books, the teacher union threatens to strike cause they want the money for them. I'm tired of hearing about the teachers being underpaid. Until the supplies in the schools stop sucking, the teachers don't need an extra dime.
