Yeah, Army was once among the elite...before anyone really passed the football. When passing came in, down they went. Hell, Rutgers was among the elite before the pass. Boston College was getting to the elite but they have stumbled very badly.

Penn State should move OUT of the Big Ten and into the Big East right now. It's an open division that needs rebuilding. Hell, convince Notre Dame to come in with them and the Big East looks 10x better.

Miami did have a small period after getting hit with some sanctions but they held tough. But you have tons of programs that were once elite and may not get back. Alabama for one, which is still trying to recover from the sanctions they were hit with. SMU, no explanation needed. Nebraska has hit a cold patch. Notre Dame is slowly pulling out of the muck. Florida State appears to be headed for the muck. Every team goes through a period where they aren't among the elite, whether due to a recruiting class not developing or sanctions or injuries. It happens all the time.

The worst part was when I said I didn't feel Kerry won or loss the debate, I had a nice Kerry supporter call me an idiot and that I should just support Bush if I'm going to be that mindless. Ahh, the irony of it all. Look, I wouldn't care which one of these candiates win cause much isn't going to change. From what I saw, Kerry may have nailed him on presentation but he didn't say anything. He could have crushed Bush into the ground, even the Republicans saw the holes and could breath a sigh of relief when Kerry just let them go. I still don't believe Kerry has any plan whatsoever and he damn sure doesn't have the plan a lot of people are voting for him think he does. "He'll bring the troops home!"....no he's not, neither of them are "He'll lower taxes!"....your kidding right? "He'll get us back in good with our allies"....no he won't, our allies never liked us to begin with. I like Kerry's stance on education sorta, I still think the last thing we need is more money for teachers. Teachers don't need more money, the students need to have more money spent on them for a change inside of making sure the teachers can buy that new car they want.

I say the show will be in color. Other than that, I can make no promises. None of the matches really leap out as, "Wow, this should be good". Come to think of it, none of them really leap out as, "wow, I won't want to go paint a fence and watch it dry now." I got lost when killing someone became second to hurting their pride. Course, I got lost how Angle became a bad guy to begin with. I don't think Smackdown is supposed to make sense, I think they want us to beg them to waste 30 minutes on Tough Enough whatever the freak number it is.

Wrath vs Nash from Nitro before the decline. Wrath was on the rise and OBVIOUSLY should have been given the win since the crowd loved him and his finisher. It was actually a solid match, which shocked the living hell out of me since it was NASH and BRYAN ADAMS for god sake! Lots of false finishes, both escaped the others finisher countless times until Nash hit the Powerbomb (probably the best he delivered in YEARS) and won the match. Course, Nash's idea of giving Wrath his heat back was to go "wow" and do a big sigh....yup, that got the crowd right back behind Wrath. Still, shockingly good match.

Would someone explain how much trouble walking Hart really is having if he is about to be in a damn musical as the Genie?!?! I know for a fact I don't want him to risk wrestling ever again...but how much trouble can he really be having to do theater?

I'm starting to think the best way to move up is to lose. It seems to work. Take for example Washington State. Loses and moves up three spots. Auburn, wins and falls from 7 to out of the top 10. I love these rankings! With this system in real college football, the MAC and WAC would have a shot!

In the "what? Why is ESPN2 showing that?" game, the Gamecocks score a TD and go ahead 13-3 on Alabama. Now it's time to see if Auburn is for real. Early 7-0 lead for the Tigers.

Think it is safe to say GOOOOODBYEEEE REPEAT Course, the odds of LSU repeating with what they returned was slim to none anyway but this basically confirms they are in trouble of pulling off the BCS TITLE RETURN. LSU will need 28 points in the fourth quarter to get back into the game.

Not with OU at #2. The polls have more weight yes, but right now (consider it IS early), USC is very much screwed. The most they can hope for is Notre Dame to go undefeated till the USC game and USC beats them. Then they MIGHT get to the top of the BCS. Point being...OU is in, why worry? It's the Georiga and Miami fans who should be pissed if they go undefeated.

WHOA WHOA WHOA! This is news to me. Please explain. It is POSSIBLE to check the BCS rankings before they are released if you know how to do them. It's just really really INSANE and stupid to do it. I did cause I was really really bored and needed to finally have a reason to use this stupid booklet. OU is first, just not in the polls. USC cannot jump OU in the BCS unless they lose. It would take a minor miracle for USC to overtake OU. Also, Matt Jones just got picked off. Goodnight Hogs.

No one deserves to drop after a win, I hate that crap. None of this matters anyway, Oklahoma is easily well ahead of USC in the BCS rankings so it doesn't matter. Actually, at the moment in the rankings (if my calculations are right...kill me) then It's OU, GEO, MIAMI then USC. USC hasn't a shot in hell of making it if two of those teams win out. I don't care what USC does. They are SCREWED right now.

USC was losing to a much better team than Texas "defense, what's defense?" Tech. Winning at the half doesn't mean jack. This isn't an impressive win no matter how you want to spin it. USC didn't deserve to drop and OU doesn't deserve to rise. Damn.
