Notre Dame found a running back and suddenly they can play offense. And where the hell did Brady Quinn come from? He has been sub par the first couple of games but today he has 4 TDs and is crushing the Huskies into a fine paste.

I thought this was a thread for the new film written by Shane Black or a DDP bio-pic that I missed. But it has nothing to do with either and it's just another movie about a bunch of high school losers who can't handle school. The movie was weak, it was nothing more than a "HEY! THIS IS WHY!" film. For those of us who were bullied in high school...how many kids did you kill? Hell man, I had GI JOE as a cartoon when I was a kid! Guys with machine guns solving their problems and even I didn't kill anyone. Bullying doesn't lead to kids killing in high school....NEW STAR WAR MOVIES lead to kids killing.

Well if the democrats are going to do everything listed in that add, I might vote for them. Cept the abortion part. The rest, hey rocking.

I don't see anything wrong with any of it. So they want to give Islamic religion more money so they can get a better understanding and increase education of the real islam. I'm not seeing the horrible thing here. I could have sworn increased education IS what we wanted.

TD Pittsburgh, tying the game up at 38-38. Furman to punt with 3:00 left in the game.

The Astros once again can't the Brew Crew, losing 8-0 and if the Cubs hold on for the win will drop to 3 1/2 out of the Wild card. Meanwhile in NY, Dempster has walked back to back runners to bring the damn tying run to the plate.

I'm pretty sure if you can't block and can't punch that well, heart ain't going to mean much except the word "CLEAR!"

In the "What the hell?!?!" game news Furman 38 Pittsburgh 31 with 6:00 left in the game.

Cubs fans are overreacting more than Red Sox fans now. Sammy has one bad year (sorry, but a 61 home run per year average is not something I mind seeing decline since it's impossible to hold), CUT HIM! TRADE HIM! SHIP HIM OFF! Prior doesn't go 11-0 to start the season. FIRE BAKER! HE'S KILLED HIS ARM! BOO! No wonder some peope are starting to hate the Cubs, the fans are starting to make Boston look calm. Prior has went 8 innings today btw and is pitching like the old Prior for the last two games. Baker didn't kill his arm, Prior's confidence and mechanics were just off. Stop with the overreaction Cub fans, it's below us.

Filmmaker Russ Meyer Dies at 82 Russ Meyer, the filmmaker who helped put "sexploitation" films on the map and whose name was practically synonymous with big-busted vixens, died Saturday at his home in Hollywood Hills; he was 82. According to a spokeswoman from his company, RM Films International Inc., Meyer had suffered from dementia and complications from pneumonia. A combat photographer who began working in Hollywood upon his return from World War II, Meyer found fame with his 1959 filmmaking debut The Immortal Mr. Teas, a movie that changed the standard "nudie film" format by working in an actual plot – as well as the amazingly endowed women that would become his trademark. In essence creating a new film genre, Meyer cemented his reputation (and his legacy) in the 60s with cult classics like Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill! And Vixen, which poured on violence as well as healthy doses of sex antics. It was the latter film's success that attracted the interest of 20th Century Fox, which signed him to helm the 1970 major studio release Beyond the Valley of the Dolls, which was scripted by film critic Roger Ebert; a year later he made his most mainstream film, The Seven Minutes, which featured then-wife Edy Williams. With the advent of hard-core pornography (Meyer's films were titillating but never explicit) and the demise of drive-ins, Meyer found his career success waning, but he continued to promote his movies on video and DVD through the 80s and 90s. Meyer was married and divorced three times, but left behind no children. From imdb You gotta admit, the guy liked big breasted women. And MST3K joke but the guy was doing what he loved. I don't know, it FELT like news.

What I find ironic is the ones who complain about ESPN's love affair with Barry Bonds are the same ones singing the praise of this overrated Boston/New York crap. ESPN would have to kiss Barry's ass for 30 straight years to make up for the pointless hours they have spent talking about the Yankees/SOX bull.

Didn't stop Dario. REALLY didn't stop Dario. But I doubt she is nude anyway. Really doesn't fit into the stories of the Dead series.

You ever gotten so bored while sick you watch video game ice hockey? It's actually better than the real stuff. Be funny if this pulled higher ratings than the NHL.

WOOF! WOOF! "What Lassie?" WOOF! WOOF! "You say I have a tumor the size of a softball?" WOOF! WOOF! WOOF! "In my kidneys!" WOOF! WOOF! "Fatal?!?!" WOOF! WOOF! "WELL WHY DID YOU WAIT TILL NOW TO TELL ME!" And Timmy's mother proceeds to shoot Lassie with the family shotgun. I mean, I don't know about anyone else but I don't speak dog. And I'm not going to go around wondering if every dog that barks at me is trying to tell me I have cancer. It just feels like a very worthless study.

Saddam plans to run for President of Iraq

Must every thread in CE include something about Bush and Kerry? Seriously. -
How does hating the new tough enough make him a heel? Makes him a face to me. I think the real face in this match will be...the one the fans cheer for.

Tell me what's good about this. The urban population is determining the policy for the rest of the country which is NOT urban and our recourse is to withhold food? Fantastic. You realize that you're bitching over an anomoly, right? Four times out of the entire history of the country? And if we did change it to popular, one side would be bitching when they lost the first election under said system. It's a no win discussion. Just make the damn popular vote worth 10 electoral votes and leave the old system in place.

And he'll dig deep into the dirt, he's not afraid to get his hands dirty in a hollow hole. See, he's just a common man! Hell, I'm starting to think he could pull 10% in America -
Oh? And my suggestion of punishment. 10 years All three would stay in juv till 18, if showed progress then would be on probation for the remaining years of sentence and would have to register as a sex offender (you heard me). If any were trouble makers during that time, they would spend the remaining years of their sentence in the main prison and then be given the chance to "do some good". No reason they should avoid the sex offender tag just because they are kids. I don't want to hear that "didn't know any better" crap cause it's bull. We all knew better by this age and these kids are learning faster than we are.

That brings up a fascinating question: should a criminal suffer forever for their crimes? Should a murderer be executed or sentenced to life in prison, because he permanently destroyed the life of a human being? Or should they get the chance to live a productive and happy life, on the basis that they might do some good in the future and attempt to make up for their actions? You forfeit your right to happiness if you kill someone with no just cause. Whether it's in a cell or in a chair, they should lose the right forever. There are just causes, many in fact that can mean that they should get one last chance. But just killing to kill or killing more than one should mean you never get a second chance. Ever. You prove you have no good in you by doing that. I think drunk drivers who kill families should go to prison for life, and by life I don't mean 50 years. I mean, till the day they die. There is just evil in these kids and they know they are going to get off. We have made it quite clear to anyone under the age of 16 that they can easily get away with murder without a blink of the eye. We have made it clear to anyone under 16 that the worse someone might get for destroying or ending a life is juvie till 18. You have to send one of them up the river. If no punishment is ever set that fits the crime cause "they are kids", then you are giving them free reign to commit any horrible act they wish because they know they won't get any sort of punishment that fits what they did.

I'd be willing to see if we can stop Bill Maher with nukes. Yeah, using nukes on hurricanes would work! Well, cept for that massive loss of crops and life the radiation would cause...but no more hurricane!
-
The 11 yr old....maybe 12 yr old....possible 13 yr old....wow, I don't know. Not to mention they just ruined the life of someone. That is what I dislike people forgetting with the "they are just kids" thing. Forgetting that these "kids" ruined the life of someone possibly till the day they die. I doubt it fills anyone with joy knowing that someone who raped their grandmother might go on to a productive happy life after destroying another.

Saddam plans to run for President of Iraq

I think we are all making a rash decision here. Who says Saddam won't be an outstanding President. I mean, look at how well he did as horrible, ruthless and evil dictator. The guy brings commitment to the job, you gotta give him that. I mean, what other President would have the work ethic to volunteer to pick out a prisoner to be executed and then kill the man himself? That is dedication!
