As much as I dislike Diva Search, I can't understand anyone finding joy in someone getting their arm broken. I hope she recovers nicely and her career flourishes in whatever she does now that she has been eliminated.

Thursday, September 9th Missouri at Troy State Friday, September 10th Florida State at Miami Oregon State at Boise State Saturday, September 11th UNLV at Wisconsin Arizona State at Northwestern Southern Miss at Nebraska UCLA at Illinois Fresno State at Kansas State Michigan at Notre Dame Marshall at Ohio State Colorado at Washington State North Carolina at Virginia Wyoming at Texas A&M Georgia at South Carolina Houston at Oklahoma Colorado State at USC Georgia Tech at Clemson Penn State at Boston College Mississippi at Alabama Texas at Arkansas Tiebreaker #1: How many total points will be scored in the Florida State/Miami game? 51 Tiebreaker #2: How many total yards (passing & rushing) will Missouri's Brad Smith have against Troy State? 345 - I am toast this week. I really have no clue who is going to win these games. Some teams looked just miserable in week 1. That Fresno St/Kansas State game should be exciting.

Here's the shocker, sit down for it: Most liberals want to go back to talking about current issues, not Vietnam. Then why don't they? Seriously, did the democrats learn ANYTHING from the Clinton impeachment? If the country doesn't care, which they don't, then ignore the stupid attack ads and move on. It's really not that difficult. Let the splinter groups chase after Kerry's record and Kerry can focus on the issues. It's that damn simple. Instead, the Kerry camp goes into "BUSH SHOULD CONDEMN THESE ADS!" mode, forgetting the fact he has already done it countless times and he's not wasting time even acknowledging their existance anymore. Course, the democrats are the same party that convinced Gore he should turn his back on Clinton, falling right into the Republicans trap and making them believe he should have. So now splinter groups pop up once a week and Kerry's camp (not Kerry) goes into bitch about it mode instead of focusing on the issues. Which is exactly what the groups want them to do. His campaign is being poorly run and if they want to move on and focus on the issues, then move on and focus on the issues. If he has nothing to hide, he should just tell them look all they want instead of getting defensive like he is hiding something which just makes them want to dig more. If he has so much confidence in his record, maybe he should for once show some confidence in his record. Agree with Bush, say all these ads for both sides splinter groups are wastes of time and let both candiates focus on the issues and have a moderately clean election. As much as I hate to say it, the democratic side is acting like a bunch of 10 yr olds whining to mommy that Bush should say he's sorry for something a half cousin of his said. And Bush is acting confident about the election and ignoring the ads, setting up his campaign while the democrats are jumping up and down like they didn't get the GI JOE they wanted from Walmart. I'm tired of hearing the democrats say, "We want to move on", when the only thing stopping them IS them. If they want to beat Bush (which should have been a slam dunk) then they need to quit acting like children with a chip on their shoulder and go to work. Otherwise they need to drop out of the race and let it be Bush vs Nadar or whoever. Considering my dislike for Bush the politician and his choices of attorney general among others, I was prepared to vote Democratic this year. After what I have seen, I am not voting for either side of this coin.

They made a Canadian Bacon 2?

After what I saw, re-runs of the later year version WCW Saturday night would be better than this.

Somebody sure is sure of himself. There was nothing that says F911 would have won in the doc category to begin with. I'm sorry but if this film gets a nod for Best Picture then Hollywood is more full of crap than I thought possible. Cute little film but no way in hell was it one of the year's five best films.

Well, we are both done. Nevada doesn't seem like they are aware what exactly football is.
-
Bush still needs a little hand gesture as well. He's got a long way to go.
-
My fate lies in the hands of Nevada. They better play like the talented group they are supposed to. Oh well, if I lose at least I lost to a rather brillant foe.

"Update: We still have no fucking clue where this guy is."

RE2, SAW, and SHAUN on the big screen. I'm still unsure of "THE GRUDGE" but I might go see it. No thank you to "The Ring 2". But SAW is a big hell yes.

I'm a no party pussy thank you. You should charge admission to this, you might make a fortune.

Right, because Bush is so much like Hitler. Why you can barely tell them apart. Hitler has a mustache, Bush doesn't. Oh and Bush exterminated more Jews... Do we KNOW that for sure??? Do we REALLY! Oh right, we do know that. Sorry, I started thinking like the morons who compare him to Hitler for a second. I'd quicker compare Bush to Darth Vader than Hitler. God, some people really need their head examined.

You know what? I'm not going to spoil it cept to say the ads are WAY misleading. So who else saw this so called "film"? Anyone? Or was I the only one stupid enough to blow the $8.50 on this waste of two hours? Josh Harnett: Making Keanu Reeves look like Sir Alec Guinness and making Matthew Lillard look like Robert DeNiro

The first part you said Dama is correct. Matt and Lisa were in love. The preview was spot on about that. The rest you said....no, that was incorrect. Hence why I was pissed off. The movie feels long as well. I swear it felt like it was longer than Lord of the Rings.
-
I don't get WHY they didn't promote it as what it was. I think it would have done much better. Right now it's bombing badly and rightfully so. This was the biggest bait and switch in movie history.

Feudal Lords? The hell? Did I just step back in time? Are there Knights again? I haven't seen that phrase used in print since History class in my sophomore year of High School.

Took a while to write them but they are now there. And yes, Hartnett makes Freddie look like Sir Laurence Olivier. It's painful to watch this guy act and I went in hoping he could make up for his dead performance in "Hollywood Homicide" Funny how his character in that film was studying to be an actor and I don't think Josh even spent 10 seconds reading a book on acting.

Ok, here is the deal. For those that have seen the ads, they make this movie out to be a suspenseful thriller with a Fatal Attraction mix. If you don't want the whole movie ruined, stop after paragraph one since the rest is me just explaining the film and ranting. Literally. The film is a ROMANCE, I repeat that it is a god damn CHICK FLICK. Yes, the black haired chick is obsessed with him but it's some crap like she fell in love with him at first sight just like he fell in love with Lisa. She is basically Lisa's best friend and was such before Lisa met Matt. Ok, now the either film The movie is really a series of flashbacks mostly with Hartnett just Keanu Reeves facing his way through the film. We get to see how creepy and weird Matt is with scenes like him sniffing the air in a phone booth after he thinks he saw Lisa run out of it (sub-plot: Matt moved to NY when Lisa "left", she never vanished by the way. So he's back in San Fran, on his way to China to close some big ad deal or something) and having a flashback plus the delightful sleeping on the bed in a hotel room looking at a compact. And the "search" for Lisa is annoying since it involves scenes like Matt walks out of the airport and turns a corner JUST as Lisa is walking in. Yes, it's one of those films. There is no suspense and no, the black haired girl does not pretend to be Lisa Lisa, she pretends to be someone ELSE named Lisa to cover up the fact Lisa is fine and dandy. There is a subplot about Lisa being stalked by some dude named Daniel but the movie just flushes that storyline down the toilet since insane Daniel takes that Lisa has a new man very well, so much so he just vanishes after seeing two shadows (Alex and Matt) in the window of Lisa's apartment. Oh, and Matt does have sex with Alex the first night he meets her. That's right, Matt has sex with insane chick. While he has a fiancee he is suppose to marry and is looking for Lisa. I couldn't make this up if I wanted too and I wouldn't want to. Funny scene where they act ackward in the morning but it's completely out of place in this film. Lisa is not dead, she is alive and well and we see her about 30 to 40 minutes into the film walking around in the black haired woman's (Alex) apartment. So what did the preview get right? Alex is a touch psycho but Matt is just as bad and she at least feels horrible about what she is doing. Matt dumps his fiance in the middle of the airport, has sex with a woman he barely knows and doesn't seem to feel one ounce badly about it. To clear up, Matt is a major tool and didn't deserve Lisa or anyone. If anything, he is creepy. Also, Alex is dating Matthew Lillard who is the comedy and really only bright spot of the film. That is a scary thought. Lillard is Matt's best friend, an all talk no action type who is in love with Alex and wants to be with her. Ok, yes I realize how INSANE this all sounds by now. She is not dating Lillard because of Matt, she was already dating him before Matt came back to town. The ending is Alex reveals the truth to Matt and gives him a note she stole two years ago. Lisa didn't vanish without a trace, she went to France to be a dancer and Alex was suppose to give Matt a note that said Lisa loved him and wanted to move in with him. Alex saw an opening and went with it, wasn't the nicest thing in the world but Matt was just as bad. So she gets all weepy eyed, apologizes and Matt storms off to get to Lisa. This is where Alex dumps poor Lillard, but we don't go back to his story either. To clear up, Matt managed to ruin the life of his best friend by mistake. Think he'll feel bad? I would quicker bet on Batman and Robin winning the 2005 Oscar. Matt is supposed to meet Lisa at Wicker Park and SHOCK of shocks he can't find a cab and misses her. By now I was getting pissed as the movie was dragging out a story that really wasn't all that interesting and just trying to beat into my head I should care that Matt was missing Lisa by mere seconds every time. Somehow Matt finds Lisa in the airport before she is about to leave for London and no I have no CLUE how he found out she was going to London and by this point I didn't care since I had been tricked into seeing this. This is the scene where he just dumps his fiancee like a bad habit, basically telling her that the last two years of their life has been a lie and she should just bugger off. After dumping her, Matt shrugs off any feelings of he might have been the bad guy and kneels behind Lisa as she is on her knees crying. Does he touch her shoulder? Say her name? No, we are treated to a two minute scene of him just staring at the back of her head ON THEIR KNEES IN THE AIRPORT (ahh, nice to see Airport secruity was on lunch break or something) until finally Lisa realizes someone is staring at her and...we are treated to a shot of them just hugging for what seems like three minutes and not in a good way. Then the credits roll and two hours of your life are gone. There, that's the film. If you go, at least now you will know what you are walking into.

I'm screwed. I need a sweep in the final two games or Spiff has me. Damn Notre Dame not knowing what the hell OFFENSE is. Either Fresno St and Nevada win or I'm toast. Why do I feel like I'm watching Chris Rix walk out onto the field against Miami with his helmet on backwards?

200 Children and Teachers taken hostage in school

That's McClane, unless you mean the guy from Arlizonla. I think he means both. And isn't the official number 350? No matter what the number, this is beyond sick. I'm just waiting for someone to blame the US for this. So braindead moron with too much time on his hand to come out and say, "blah blah blah Iraq blah blah this wouldn't have happened". I know it's coming and the person that says it needs to be slapped. -
Didn't Bush already condemn ALL negatives ads like three or four times now? Seriously, he shouldn't have to come out and say every ad is bad when he has already said he condemns them all. I get the feeling people won't be happy till Bush stands in front of a camera, weeping openly and reads off the name of every group in the US and says he doesn't support what they say and condemns then. Then he invites Kerry in and hands him a lollipop and pats him on the head. Bush shouldn't have to say a thing, he has already said it. It's getting to be a broken record from him and a waste of breath since he'll be frowned upon no matter what. Be nice if Bush and Kerry would just both IGNORE the ads, not even respond to them and just discuss ISSUES. You know, like they are in an election or something.

Good. You should forget him since he's not the end all of terrorist and it would nice if the American public didn't think once we get him that we are safe. Cause we won't be. Will we be a little safer with him out? Maybe, unless his new #2 is more dangerous than him. I don't care when we get him, it's better to bring down the entire organization rather than the figurehead. Cause I know some in America who will say, "Bin Laden is gone! This is no longer our problem!" the minute he is caught. We'll either get him now or we'll get him later. But he's just a single fish in the huge damn ocean of trouble.

Ok, what the hell? Bringing down the goal post for SURVIVING WAKE FOREST?!?!?! Bringing down the goal post because Wake didn't have a QB who could hit the wide opening receiver? Ok, this goal post stuff has GOT to stop. It's getting stupid. It used to mean something, now they are just bringing them down for the most simple of situations. Yeah, great comeback...against WAKE FOREST. When you are in the Top 25, you have no business EVER bringing down your goal post. EVER.
