The obvious answer for Edge is he starts wearing facepaint and running out to shake the ring ropes, maybe pump his hands in the air and change his finisher to the the Big Splash of doom. Or, he could get a finisher and stop running out like he's running the tire relay to make a high school football team. He's just boring and there right now, he doesn't have a gimmick other than he's Edge. And his interviews consist of, "Wrestler A, I will kick your BUTT" and then he sneers at them like he's passing a kidney stone. Then he gets in a match with them and proceeds to beat them with a spear that when compared to the GORE of Rhyno looks like he is hugging his opponent. Edge cannot be serious, it's not in him. He just looks incredibly stupid when he tries. Now if they want to get him over as a face...well, just run out and beat down all the Diva search females when they are in the middle of a boring segment. That'll get him face pops galore.

Wow, I guess the Vikings aren't cutting him now.

I need the lyrics to AJ Style's Entrance theme...

Nothing is as bad as the lyrics to "The Man called Sting". NOTHING! -
I remember her, sorta hawaiian or asian features with big fake breasts. So she is a touch crazy? Seriously though, I think if she pointed a gun at his head and no whistle went off then I'd be worried. Really, this is all sounding like a damn skit.

Kyle Farnsworth is more of a liability than Sosa.

I think the next thread should be about the Cubs bat boy. Obviously he isn't giving Sammy and Alou the bats they need to actually make contact with a baseball. This is all his fault. That little 15 yr old slacker. Yes, I'm a Cubs fan and no, I'm not serious. Yes I am. -
Great, wonderful. The Ravens can grab the washed up old guy who is more concerned with dancing than covering. Even as a nickel db, he's not worth the cash and time.

I got the chance to talk to repeated people about OPEN WATER over the weekend at the Horrorfind con in Maryland and most of them agreed on one thing. That it is very very boring. I still want to see it, but the only horror style movie I care about right now is SAW. Exorcist isn't getting one damn dime of my money.

I'd buy it. Guy has a chainsaw on his hand and a double barrel shotgun. I think he'd hang just fine. Freddy shouldn't be funny anymore to begin with. His humor should be subtle, not wise cracks. Plus it would just be Ash running around not wanting to fight them until the end when he's forced into the situation and unloads on them. But Campbell has already said repeatedly, if Ash is suppose to die in the film then he won't do the film. Hell, Ash dealt with the army of hell basically in Evil Dead so I could easily buy him holding his own.

Better rehab like a mofo. For those who haven't figured out rehab, here is how it works. Rehab the same player every day with the right rehab to their injury. It will constantly cut time off their out time. I had my QB break his arm, suppose to be out five weeks and I used rehab and had him back after missing just one game. Results will vary. As for the stats, they take into factor many things. For example, if an overall rating drops it may mean he lost in some of the catergories the player didn't work on and didn't need to like tackling for a WR or kicking for a DE. Check the full stats before you react. Of course, age also plays a key role. On mine, Buckhalter is a 100 but he ain't crap.

As a Florida State fan, all I can think is which version of Chris Rix will show up from game to game. The guy could be in the running for the Heisman if his head would stay on straight.

I'll say it before and I'll say it again Fransworth is NOT a set up man. He's not! That is when his trouble ALWAYS kicks in. He cannot pitch in a set-up role, he is a situational pitcher. The Cubs have no set-up man because the set-up man is closing the games. Fransworth is a 7th inning pitcher, any later he is screwed. I don't know what the heck they can do. They did nothing to fix the bullpen. -
So who was cheering for the Men's b-ball team...

These are the guys who WANTED to go, I'm not booing them. -
Like him as champ or not, but I felt kinda bad for JBL because he came out to the ring to dead silence from the crowd. It was awful. But they were never given a reason to care about him. I feel bad for him but it's the fault of the WWE, not the fans. They have no reason to cheer him and they have no reason to boo him other than he has the belt. And if they boo him because he has the belt, it comes off as heel heat. The fans are cornered on what they can do. Not to mention, the WWE hasn't exactly worked hard to win Canada over by changing all the hometowns of Canadian born wrestlers to USA cities unless the wrestler is a heel. The only people at fault in all of this is the WWE and the wrestlers pay for it. It's not exactly right but it's the only thing that can be done. People are going to buy tickets to the big name shows, it's just selling on name value alone.

People go to Summerslam for the same reason people go to Wrestlemania, because of the name. People would sell out Wrestlemania even if the main event was Kamala vs a Teddy Bear. So what are the fans supposed to do? When they don't make a sound for wrestlers, THAT is disrespectful. Doing the wave during a match they don't care about is fine by me. Real disrespect would have been if they didn't make a sound the whole card. So they booed Edge. Well they liked Jericho and hate the stale guy with a boring final move. Also, fans joining in the booing might have meant they turned on Edge for his work and because they want Jericho with the belt over him. So they booed Eugene. He's a gimmick and some of the crowds in the US recently have been getting quiet to him. They shouldn't be required to cheer for who the WWE wants and if they want to turn on a wrestler in the middle of a match, good. Especially if it's a stale character like Edge who needs a personality adjustment. As for Hogan, ever think maybe they realized it could be his last Wrestlemania and they wanted to be respectful to him? It was Vince who made the decision to push Hogan, not a crowd that was thanking a wrestler for the enjoyment he gave some of them as kids. The real crowd that should have been ashamed was NYC for booing Brock just because he wanted to retire. Way to thank the guy for wanting to move on. Plus the same could be said for Angle, no one knows how many matches he has left in him. The ultimate respect you can give a wrestler is cheering for them even if they are the heel. They like Angle and the only way to thank him is cheer for him over the guy they are supposed to be cheering for. The crowd was fine, they were not having fun with a match so they made their own fun. Is that disrespectful to the wrestlers? Not as bad as utter silence would have been. Plus how do you expect them to voice their hatred of an angle and a match? If they boo, it seems like someone in the ring is getting heel heat. What do you expect them to do?

Yeah, but his opponent isn't a joke. The opponents of those two....jokes. -
When the team of Keith/Dan ended, it seemed like Sportscenter died a little for me. Steiner was awesome just because he always had a deadpan look and when he got to laughing, he literally broke down. It was great. The anchors they have on Sportscenter now are just no fun. Some of them really seem bitter, like sports is the last thing they wanted to cover.

First they spelled Keyes without an "e" and then with an "e" Which one is it? And he thinks he can win even though he has never lived there? Really? -
When the hell is Summerslam again?
-
Considering I was laughing at the people who were scared when it happened, no that wasn't it. Actually, I kinda wish it HAD been my mind. But when you are laughing and suddenly you get pushed hard into a wall by nothing, you tend to start wondering what the hell is going down. And when the back of your neck starts burning like someone rubbing a rope across it and the front feels like a piece of metal being pressed to it, yeah you start to get a little bit freaked out. Frankly, I'm not mocking or messing with things I don't understand ever again.

Considering I've encountered a pissed off spector that committed suicide in an old house, yes I do. Most are basically a chill, but there are a few that are the pissed off screw around and they'll have your ass types. Chanting and bringing Satanic symbols is a sure way to meet those kinds. And trust me, you do NOT want to meet those kinds. They are NOT fun. And no, I didn't believe in them till the pissed off one pulled the demon like stuff on me. Thank goodness they tore down that house cause the next person that went back wouldn't have been happy to meet it.

If the O's somehow come back and get within 3 games of the Wild Card by the end of the season then Lee deserves the manager of the year honors.
-
You want to STIR up violent spirits? Well, those are some famous last words. Simply put, if they are there then you'll feel them anyway. Going in trying to start stuff, that is the last thing you should ever do. Also, bringing along Satanic symbols....damn man, you asking to get killed by a ghost?

If it isn't Dan Patrick and Keith Olberman then it's a waste of time.

Ever get the feeling that Haurd throws balls that hit the goal post and then says, "I thought...I thought you were going to do one of these *makes hand gesture for post pattern*...good route." And yes, Brock looks like he wants to eat Haurd's head for dinner. If he learns, the Vikings are going to be laughing their asses off grabbing a man with this much intensity.
