Sammy has two problems, for one he is too far away from the plate. But I don't want him gone, Sammy is too much a part of the Cubs and I can't really imagine him not running out to right field and waving at the fans. Is he slumping? Hell yes. Do I think he will pull out of it? Christ, if I believe the Cubs can make the World Series then I'll buy anything. The line-up is sound and I'd rather not screw with it. Lee and Ramirez are comfortable, Alou is coming back now and Sosa won't be far behind. You can tell he's frustrated with himself and that is the other problem. When Sammy isn't smiling, Sammy isn't hitting. I don't know WHY not, but when he gets down on himself he just doesn't get it done.

IIRC, Haurd last year got knocked out of a scrimmage because a defensive end pushed him down on a play. Teams are just going to make him out to be a scapegoat cause of who he is. They showed the footage on Sportscenter and I didn't see anything wrong. I still feel Brock is out of position. With his size and speed, I think he'd be a better OLB than this.

3 reps= three sets of weight lifting And then you drilled them after that??? No wonder your guys are falling down with injuries all over the field. You are freaking killing them. You need some scrimmages, no pads to partial pads if you are going to drill and weight lift during the same day. My suggestion is run either one to two team drills and one full scrimmage for each team (1st, 2nd, 3rd) at different days during the week. Just one for each will be fine. Also, give your guys some time just watching films or give them a 1/2 day off. The 1/2 day off should only be used if your team is beat up...and your team is beat up. Give them like a 1/2 day on Tuesday to recharge, just run some drills that day and send them home to rest. If morale and focus are low, your guys seem to get careless in practice and start having injuires. Obviously injuries are unavoidable but with the number you have going, it seems like a clear cut case of overwork.

You really need to adjust your workouts for the week cause you are well overworking your team. And no, the type of workout does not determine what kind of injury they may suffer. You are working your WRs and RBs way too hard which is causing you major problems.

Frankly, I think Meltzer has a grudge or something against him. He had so much of the story wrong that it's not even funny. He made it sound like Brock started a fight after viciously hitting Huard after the whistle. I'm shocked he didn't claim Brock spit on him and mocked his family.

John Clayton was reporting the Vikings were pleased with Brock today, not upset with him. Not only that, the players think highly of him after today. This is the NFL, if Haurd doesn't want to get hit then he needs to put on the red jersey or else he is a target.

John Clayton reported Brock Lesnar had a very strong day in his first day of training camp and is apparently learning the game and defense extremely well. Interesting.

If I know a player isn't part of my long term, I trade them when they only have one year left and a low cap penalty. This way I get higher draft picks for younger players that can be part of the future. I don't give anyone a huge contract who isn't the future of my franchise. So far, only my WRs and my QB have big deals. I have Dansby a good sized one since he is the future of my OLB, I signed a rookie ILB to a good sized deal since he will be the Ray Lewis and he has been. My corners are expendable, Wilson my SS is signed long term and Jackson at FS isn't worth the money since he is blowing tackles and missing picks. This year, I have about 8 guys up for resigning and maybe 2 of them are coming back since I'm not going to waste my money on them. Considering I have two straight Super Bowls, I am doing just fine. But these teams are catching up to me REAL fast.

I only resign guys I have interest in the future of my franchise. If I can't see a place for them, I let them walk out the door. And if they are a bench player, they better be young or they are walking out the damn door.

Precisely--so why play it up as if they may ultimately want to conquer us? Because simply put, we ARE next in line. Think about it, the Aliens are the ultimate test because of their numbers. If they eliminate all the Aliens, then what species would be the next logical test for them? A well armed, intelligient human race that works very much like the Aliens. Not to mention, Earth has been the proving grounds already apparently according to the story and the only thing keeping humans from being the hunted IS the Aliens on the planet. So either, humans become hosts to the Aliens or humans become the next thing to be used as a test for the young predators. So pretty much, whoever wins then we lose. The Predators would just take longer to kill us all while the Aliens wouldn't take as much time.

Well, this shouldn't even be an issue. The county should pay because the kid was conceived in jail? Why? Does this mean if someone gets preggers in a Walmart, they can sue it for child support? If the sheriff did this, he's a bone head but I don't see how that means the county should pick up the tab. Also, wanting to be released earlier from a robbery sentence to take care of your child? Actually, if I remember correctly his parents sued and he refused to testify for them so the case fell apart. If he wants to see her and be with her now, he's 21 so I don't see what gives the courts the right to tell him no. She should have been put in jail, but if she is out and he wants to be with her then I don't see how any of us can say "NO! HE CAN'T!" He may not be as screwed in the head as we would like to believe.

Ummm hello everyone? These aren't the Predators that Arnold or Danny Glover faced. The reason these Predators wouldn't act like the normal ones we have seen is because basically these are the "teenager" ones. They have yet to prove themselves and they are down on Earth in the hive to do so. They are going to be brass, cocky, basically out of control with their only goal to prove themselves in battle: human or no humans. If the humans are armed and in the way, then they must die. That is basically it. This one was pretty simple to explain and I like where they are going with that. I'm still unsure since his movies are usually hit or miss by miles.

The best thing to do is to wait till the end of the year and trade your big guys for draft picks. This way, you'll be able to grab a higher pick AND all you'll have to pay is a bonus.
