So, the one that doesn't care (Carmella) is going to be the one that wins? Makes sense.
-
Maybe he has a huge schlong? And I never thought I would say that sentence about Kris Benson. I need to go pray.
-
If he could only put the same dedication into pitching that he puts into screwing his wife everywhere on the planet then he'd have five Cy Youngs and a World Series title.
-
No wonder it took him so long to get off the DL. Hard to heal when your wife is riding the hell out of you.

Dump her. Do not accept bad taste. And if she wants to see Thunderbirds, file for a restraining order against her after you dump her. wait...does she like Cubs baseball?
-
He will get those reactions. Fred McGriff got those reactions. That's Cubs fans for you. Trying to sell Nomar on the Cubs.
-
I do. He looks like a borg and I wouldn't trust him to tell me the truth about a used car. Just cause I dislike Bush, doesn't mean I like the walking human bore Kerry. As far as I'm concerned, the intel level and everything else is dead even on Bush and Kerry which I will won't vote for either one of the controlled saps.

Graduate of YALE User of drugs Sorta cancels out the first one.

Well, here is a crazy question. If they info that they are sending people across the border...then shouldn't the alert be high ON THE FRICKIN BORDER as well??
-
You could be overworking them. Do you make them watch game film as well? What about 7-on-7 drills? Scrimmages?
-
Now suddenly Nomar was happy to be a Red Sox...alright AND THE CUBS GOT MONEY! The Red Sox PAID to trade Nomar...oh this is just awesome.
-
Well, look at it this way. You got rid of the guy who didn't want to be shortstop for a solid shortstop with a strong bat which should excel in Fenway. You grabbed a solid back up left handed bat. It's not like the deal was horrible for Boston.
-
Yeah, I just posted the official finals for the trade apparently. Chicago pulled a rabbit out of their ass on this one. I love Gonzo for his glove but his bat has been brutal and he was out of town at the end of the season anyway. I'm hoping Clement doesn't move and that Nomar ends up falling in love with Wrigley. I don't know much about Murton though. Is he fast? Cause that is a big thing the Cubs need is a lead-off hitter some games.
-
According to the AP, this is the trade: Cubs get: Nomar Matt Murton Red Sox get: Orlando Cabrera Doug Mientkiewicz Montreal get: Francis Beltran Brendan Harris Alex Gonzalez Twins get: Justin Jones Right now, that seems to be it.
-
DAMMIT! They gave up Wellmeyer?!?! He was one of the only guys in the bullpen I liked.
-
So wait The Cubs kept the starting rotation intact AND they grabbed Nomar? .....how the hell did they pull THAT off???
-
Cubs trail 4-3 headed to the bottom of the ninth against the Phils. Basically, they are dead considering the way they have played in one run games. If they can come back and win, I'll be stunned.
-
Answer: No.

The up and down arrows are the stock of the player, if it's down then other scouts and Kiper are down on them. If the arrow is up, it means the player is moving up but that may not mean too much. Basically, this involves you to think about what you want. If you want, there is a draft board that lists the top 25 players for you.

Odds are Orton wins now, then at Survivor Series perhaps they do a four way match (Eugene, Triple H, Benoit and Orton) with Triple H telling Orton he'll help him keep the title in his hands. Then Triple H pedigrees him at SS to win the title and kicks Orton out of Evolution the next night on RAW when Randy has a problem with what Triple H did to him, possibly with a beatdown by Batista and Flair. This would make it so Orton will have to work his way through Batista and Flair on his way to defeating heel champion Triple H at Wrestlemania. And Triple H can pedigree Edge, Shelton and Jericho on the way to Wrestlemania before losing clean to Orton in the main event. Least that makes a minor bit of sense.
-
...I'm pretty sure he would be out of business in a month since he would be spending money and not making any.
-
Well, what can they do with him? Can't call him up cause he can't hit major league pitching. Can't send him further down cause he'll hit more homers but won't develop. Can't cut him loose cause if he does learn to catch up with an MLB fastball you look like an idiot. Best bet is to leave him in Triple A where he can crush the ball and grab you some AAA titles. Also, you keep your fingers crossed he learns to get over his Cerano complex.

The Church is missing a GOLDEN chance here! "HOLY BIRTH CONTROL PILLS!" It can have a picture of Jesus on the cross with a bunch of pregnant women looking up at him on the cover. It'll sell HUGE and it will also guilt people into waiting.
-
Because the two times he has been called up, once with Baltimore and once with Boston, he was unable to even touch Major League Pitching. Calvin is slowly becoming the Crash Davis of MLB.

You sure this isn't a poster for a new John Waters movie?
