Considering Tyson was suppose to knock this guy out in one round, that's complete and utter bs from people trying to keep their meal ticket fighting. Tyson is done, he was done when he decided to just stand there and be a punching bag for Lennox Lewis. As for Roy Jones Jr....pound for pound the most BORING fighter in boxing today. I watched four Roy fights and every one of them made me want to take a nap.

Sorry, this is bull. He's in a job where his religion should not be involved. If he wants a job where his "religion" is involved, then he needs to get one that doesn't involve something like this. Also, a married woman wasn't even allowed to get them? Gee, glad to see the only reason to have sex is to pop out babies now. Complete and total bs is what this is. I'm just pissed they are tearing down the stadium. If the Yankees want to build a new one and move, fine. But to rip down the old one for a parking garage or a kinkos or whatever useless piece of dreck will go there is stupid. Move, but leave the damn building there. Hell, the Yankees could charge money for tours and turn it into a big ass living musuem.

I'm going by what I saw on C-SPAN last night when they showed Bush's 2000 nomination speech. The crowd was very quiet. I've grown to expect it from the Republicans. Just please, no more dancing.

Never heard of citizens arrest? Next time, have a trash bag with you and capture them. Take them to the authorities and announce, "this person was EATING! Arrest them."

Kerry's reactions were well behind some of the other speeches but overall it got a decent reaction. The thing is Bush won't get any reaction since the Republican party doesn't believe in cheering and thankfully they don't like dancing. I swear, one more shot of a person dancing poorly to James Brown and I was going to vote for Bush just to spite them. It was a solid speech, more of a "Hi, my name is..." speech than any policy which I expected so that's ok. Not sure about the Stem Cell thing (even though I agree with it) or him bringing up the things he learned in war but overall it was cool. Doesn't make me want to vote for him, but that is what debates are for. I'm still undecided, leaning towards not voting.

How much will they bitch that their Freedom of Speech is being violated? -=Mike well I dunno, being confined to a cage like an animal might bring out the uglier side in people... You haven't heard squat from them in Boston. Somehow, I suspect their bitching might get more play in NYC. They'll proably blame Ashcroft AND Halliburton for it all. You know, like the left does for every problem in the country. -=Mike Well I gotta say, if we see the protestors on any of the media outlets at the RNC after not seeing them at the DNC then Mike might have all the evidence he needs. I didn't know any protestors were in the city of Boston this week. I thought it was a city of peace, love and a future of freedom (Coming Summer 2005) with the DNC there.

Isn't Wrigley the only one of the older ones that hasn't been renovated yet? If the Cubs lose Wrigley, they lose their fans. Hell, when the team sucked the fans still came to see Wrigley field. The fans wouldn't flock to "TAMPON PRESENTS CUBBIE PARK" or whatever the hell would sponsor it. The new fields are a novelty, that's all they are. When the Red Sox, Yankees, and Cubs stunk the place the fans were still coming to the ballpark. Because there is still that small group of fans who will go to a field for the tradition. To know they are sitting in a seat and looking at a field that once upon a time had Ruth roaming the outfield. A field where Fisk launched one of the more dramatic home runs ever. A field where you can see the baseball season changing just by what is covering an outfield wall. When MLB loses Wrigley, Fenway and Yankee Stadium then the game's tradition is dead and buried. Replaced by a giant billboard sign that will not bring the fans to the old ball game.

He's gotta work on his speech giving skills, he bounces around a little too much and his hand gesture are very useless and don't fit. Still, not a bad speech so far. "The future belongs to freedom" sounds like a movie tagline.

I've been trying to figure this out myself. As he says in the skit, "Yes, THE Bruce Dickinson" Actually, a combo. Walken is dressed like Maiden man Bruce, but the character is.... "And Bruce Dickinson is a real guy, but he has nothing to do with 'Don't Fear (The Reaper).' He works for Sony and he's in charge of the production and remastering of all our old albums. He had nothing to do with the original 1976 'Don't Fear (The Reaper).'" -From one of the members of BOC. That's basically it.

If he does, frame him for a bank robbery and get a new candiate. After some of those speeches, it's a scary thought that the members of what would be the first family might have the two worst speeches. His wife was nutty as a fruitcake and so it's up to Kerry to save the family name. Why DIDN'T Edwards win the nomination again?

I think it basically got past that point without anyone knowing. The most we can really try and do is keep the current building standing as a landmark. What needs to be done then? Seriously, if they want to move then fine....but to rip down the halls? For what? A parking garage?!?! What has to be done to at least keep the stadium standing?

Was that "Batman" or "Exorcist: Beginnings" trailer? Looks interesting but there is no way that this movie should be below an R to release a trailer like that.

Alright, I know people said they would protest and fight to the end to protect Wrigley so WHY IS NO ONE looking to protect the hallowed halls?!?!?! I mean, rip down the home of the Yankees for some new piece of crap with no meaning to it?

If it makes you feel even more confused, my team got revenge and roughed up the Pats 40-17 in the Super Bowl. That is what they get for not handing off to Dillion who crushed me in the regular season game. Offseason was cool enough, takes a lot of thought. Cap management is going to be tough but I think I can handle it. The draft is difficult since you really aren't given enough time to work with at the combine. Even better, the draft has a clock which you must make your pick. In free agency, I somehow managed to piss off Jonathan Wells (needed a power back to replace Smith, who retired), since he was ready to sign then announced he disliked the team make-up and went elsewhere. No big deal, I had three backs so it's his loss. Have fun backing up Shaun Alexander buddy.
