Given the cost of moving up this year...would anyone? I sure hope my team doesn't. I'm half expecting to hear "The Buffalo Bills give Jacksonville their first round pick, second round, third round and a cattle ranch in Oklahoma. Plus their first round picks for the next three years and select Stephen Jackson, running back Oregon State." Just to see someone snap.

Guess the Jags will grab Will Smith from Ohio State or trade out of the pick. I'd think trade out but unless it's Buffalo or Pittsburgh, I can't see who would want to move up to grab Big Ben.

Excellent pick, they bring in a Vick teammate and fix up that secondary. Also, the Lions wide out core is now Roy Williams, Charlie Rodgers, Tai Streets, Az-zaihr Hakim and Scotty Anderson. That is some damn speed for a WR core.

Do they have a good defense? I'm not up on my Lions roster, but I don't think it was very good last year. It was actually solid at times but it lost lots of confidence because the offense wasn't scoring. And they will have back to back picks in the second round to grab a RB and either a CB or S to help them out. They have Boss Bailey at Linebacker to build around on defense. I think they are going to be in the playoff hunt and one draft from winning their division.

Plenty of running backs sitting on the board late that they can grab. The Lions are going to be dangerous this season.

You know, if the Giants struggle or a supplement draft is held, can't the Chargers still grab Mike Williams as well? If Williams is allowed back in the NCAA and the Giants suck in the NFC EAST then the Chargers could end up with Williams-LT-Rivers as the offensive weapons in 2005. Now that would be a damn improvement.

Cleveland grabs Winslow, I think that is a damn fine pick in the tough AFC. Have fun going across the middle on Ray Lewis kid.

Considering the division the Giants are in, they could very well have just gave up the #1 pick in the 2005 draft. And since the Chargers are rebuilding, they will have a 5-7 pick maybe higher. SD really just railroaded the Giants here.

So the Chargers get the pick they want, they get a third this year AND the 1st and the 5th round next year. And now the Giants will have to pay Manning first pick money and their fans are pissed off more than Jet fans.

You think Phillip Rivers is excited about being in the NFL? He just seems to be excited about being a Giant or excited about being a Charger. He's just really excited to be playing football. No shock there but I don't get these first two picks at all. The Raiders needed a helluva lot more than a lineman and the Chargers drafted a guy who hates them. Still, least Oakland got a player.
