I personally think the original was just mishandled badly and Dolph just took the fall for it. Dolph did the best he could, but director Mark Goldblatt really had no clue what the hell he was doing and it was obvious as you watch the film. I remember that Goldblatt also completely butchered the original script to make "his vision" of the Punisher come to life. The problem was Goldblatt obviously had no clue who or what the hell kind of guy the Punisher was. He was like Bryan Singer being that he wasn't a comic book guy. The difference is Goldblatt didn't have the talent and no real care for the project or the character. Dolph did a great job and writer Boaz Yakin had placed a Punisher script forward that was true to the original as they could get while trying to introduce him to the world. But sadly, Goldblatt was a moron and has since not been a director for good reason. Plus, the company went under and didn't even really get the film in US theaters. It was just sad how bad of a flop "The Punisher" ended up being.

I'm sure Rusty would be in the NBA if he could have taken a jumper in the NBA without getting blocked back to the stone age. Rusty could pass in the NBA, but shoot he just could not.

Why is it people think Iraq can be sorted out in a weekend? As for Western Europe....who cares what they think anymore. I'm not feeling this feud and I'm not feeling Foley's promos anymore. This whole feud has been Foley being destroyed time and time again and then cutting a cookie-cutter promo. His last one? Predictable and boring ending in what looked like a hilarious skit with him beating things up. The feud just doesn't work for me because I don't think Foley can cut a good promo like he once did. His promos are just feeling forced to me. Saying it's the storyline of the year in a year where the only other storylines we have is 'Jericho's Creek' and 'the Return of Toby Keith Taker' isn't saying much either.

It's a sad day when the lesser of the candiate evils is Kerry and Bush. The bottom parties are either insane, very insane, or so insane that you fear them. I plan on voting again this year but so far I am not voting for either Bush or Kerry. I really don't think Bush has any clue what he is doing anymore. It's like he's trying to make every inch of the Republican party happy while still looking for a way to appease the middle class. Someone needs to tell him, that's not going to work. I'm sorry, you can't say the same intelligience groups that said "They have WMD" are now right when they give something that helps out another political side. It's FINALLY playing in a theater near me. I hope to see it either today or Saturday. No, Crippler didn't get much of a reaction the second time he came out but no one really gets much of one the second time they come out. They did give him a nice sized pop when he came out. And I wouldn't put any stock into a crowd's reaction when they chant "USA" during a match with a French character and a Canadian wrestler.

EUGENE would be OVW's Nick Dinsmore, moving down from being Doink to becoming....I don't know what the hell he became. Odds are he became Gerwitz's personal play thing and will be fired before the end of the month. At least Regal is around to try and make him tolerable, but it didn't work. So yes, Eugene would be new.
