I'm kind of shocked they wouldn't use this feud as a springboard for another wrestler as well. Face it, whoever comes out to save Foley is an instant face. Instant. Sure, have Rock return but how about a third man? Heck, Tommy Dreamer WAS perfect since they could have played up his past with Foley. I understanding wanting to get Orton over, but they could have easily used it to springboard another wrestler besides Orton. Rock n Sock vs three men kinda sucks.

Simon was only on a one year deal and when they signed Lee from the Marlins, they had no use for Simon or Karros. I think they should have kept one as a safety net in case of injury but maybe they have some other youngster waiting for a shot. The Marlins got a steal with Choi I think. He needed to be dealt though cause he just wasn't advancing as a Cub.

If I was going to make a deal, the last team I'd trade with is the Yankees or ANYONE in the AL EAST. You don't do this and the last thing the O's should do is give NY that last piece of the puzzle. A FAST second baseman who can lead off if they need him to. Roberts and Hairston are both very fast and I wouldn't give the Yankees the speed answer they want. If you are going to move him, move him to a team with good prospects.

Been nice if the WB had promoted the show every once and a while. ANGEL might be the only show where the promotion for the show was scheduled to run DURING the show. Coming out of the repeats, I didn't even know when the new episode was cause the WB didn't say a damn thing. It just kind of went "HI! BACK!" It's also not good but I do applaud the WB for even AIRING Buffy and ANGEL cause no network would have given the two shows the time of day.

I don't know, what was the point of giving the title to Triple H? I still say Benoit has to win at Mania or he's done. He's just done. The mild crediblity he has with the fans is ALL on him winning at Mania. If he cannot get it done in MSG at Wrestlemania 20 then they might as well ship him to mid-card cause they have just killed him. All we need to completely piss off people is Stephanie McMahon to return at the side of Benoit for NO REASON other than she can.

Triple H and HBK will not win the title at Wrestlemania. It just won't happen. Crippler is going to win the title and then defend it against HBK in Edmonton. No way would this company be dumb enough to hype up "This is the chance for Benoit" and then have him lose again under any circumstance. Chris wins over Trips then defends the title at Backlash. I find them crazy but they can't be THIS stupid.

Wow, didn't take long for the A-Rod ego to shine on through. Maybe he wants Cal Ripken's home run record at shortstop before Derek Jeter? And who is playing second for the Yankees? I don't remember. Essentially though, I didn't care about this deal when it happened and I still don't care. Also, this wasn't about winning. This was all about money. A-Rod knows he can get more endorsement deals in NYC and as a Yankee than as a Texas Ranger. I just wish A-Rod would be honest about it for once. At least Bonds will TELL you it's about the money. That's the kind of jerk I can admire. A-Rod, I think he's nothing more than an egomaniac.

Matt was getting a pretty loud reaction before his de-push it seemed to me. It doesn't depend on the workers anymore, it depends on the writers. This isn't the old writing team that let guys like Austin, Foley and Rock go out there and see what they could do. It seems this staff wants to write up every last word and not let the younger guys either stand or collapse. If the writers chill out and just map out the angle and let the wrestlers carry them then yes they will get out of the slump.

You're right. The "Bashams" need to be split up, repackaged, and sent to different shows. Danny needs to turn back into The Damaja and left on Smackdown. The guy was awesome in that character in OVW and his finisher was better than...I guess the roll up he uses now. I don't know what to do with Doug. He sorta looks like Rick Rude or he kinda did in OVW. I never understood this. Cornette helps them create these great characters in OVW and when they come up, the writing team scraps them and gives them horrible gimmicks. It would be like having a baseball player in AAA, teaching him to be an outfielder, he plays outfield extremely well, and then bringing him up and telling him "Ok, go out there and pitcher eight innings for us". Levithan was a much better character than Deacon Batista and then DAVE. The Damaja is a better character than DANNY Basham. About the only one who improved on his gimmick was Cena while the rest got stuck with crap names. Hell, Bane and Seven should come in as henchmen for Kane or something.

Hopefully they never try to remake that one cause no chance in HELL could it live up to the original. I'm not sure about this project. I liked the original but I'm not as protective of it as I am of Ken Foree and the masterful "Dawn of the Dead". Ken Foree was awesome yo. Ving can't touch that. I'll wait and see about the cast first. If I hear the words "Jennifer Love Hewitt" or "Neve Campbell" or "Freddie Prinze Jr" then no chance will I think twice about this. Unless Love is nude, then I might rent.
