    411: Meltzer confirms Benoit/Raw rumor

Well, he has to work his way up the ladder. You know, earn his spot. Can't just let anyone who has been with the company this long under 6'5 just walk into a spot.

    Super Bowl Performances

I'm shocked about OutKast not making it as well. At least then I'd had a reason to watch halftime cause this show just screams "Lame as hell". U2, I'm not a big fan, was very good last year and one of the better halftimes I have seen in awhile. After that god awful Britney performance, it was a nice twist. And the wrong message? God, use the damn football halftime show for SOMETHING good. It's the biggest stage in the world and I don't see the harm in one song. Too bad Meatloaf couldn't get on the halftime show, would have been odd.

    411: Meltzer confirms Benoit/Raw rumor

So, Benoit it's... TIME TO BE UPSTAGED! MUHAHAHAHAHA IT'S ALL ABOUT THE GAME Ahh, it'll be a breath of fresh air to watch Benoit get the rub from HHH. You know, watching the Crippler's face smack the mat after a pedigree for a clean 3 count before heading towards that big feud with Rob Conway about how Canada is better than France. Should be fun. Here's hoping Chris gets some fair treatment and at least gets a title run.

    Rock's Hollywood Career in Question

Please tell me you're kidding. Please? No, I'm not. Spoiler (Highlight to Read): If you see "The Rundown", Arnold gives his first confirmation by having a cameo where he walks by the Rock in a suit and tells him "Good Luck". The whole point of that was Arnie passing off to the Rock If you didn't, Arnold has already said he thinks the Rock is the next great action star and the roles will move forward with Rock with Arnie having a small cameo until he has more free time for bigger roles.

    Friday The 13th series...

Best kill: I forget which number but party favor into the eye. Bless Jason, the man killed with what he had around him. Biggest huh moment: What the hell ever happened to Tommy Jarvis? Is he dead or what? Did he just get tired of killing Jason and move to Florida? I don't remember if they ever addressed just where in the hell Tommy went. Favorite Weapon Machette. It's just not Jason without a machette. Also Jack, I think it was well established that Jason had a healing factor better than Wolverine. As for the DVD box set, Columbia House DVD already HAS a box set of "Friday the 13th" available so I thought it was already out? It's an 8 DVD set for 119.96 so is it they are working on ANOTHER set?
  7. Nah, they'll go with McNabb just to piss off the Eagle fans when he breaks his leg in a pre-season game.

    Bears Hire Head Coach

I agree about Dick. Lovie is a good hire though. Good defensive mind and gave the RAMS the defense they needed. Sadly, Martz was the problem on offense and he just won't leave. Wonder who the Rams QB is next year

    Best Fights of all time

Nevermind, Old school nailed it already. The Pawtuckett Red Sox shuffle kicking the catcher in the chest then spearing the hell out of the pitcher. Still, hilarious to this day. Red Sox should have called him up for the Yankee series so he could shuffle kick Posada and charge Clemens. Kyle Farnsworth earlier this year, charging the batter before he could charge him. Bless stupid crazy Kyle.

What are your predictions for 2004?

Brock signed with them fresh out of amatuer wrestling and they sent him to OVW to groom him. He's a 100% WWE project. If I remember right, him signing with the WWE shocked a lot of sports people since Brock was supposedly going to be a member of TEAM USA in wrestling with a great shot at winning the gold medal. I should have kept that damn press release.

    Rock's Hollywood Career in Question

Rock is fine. Arnold has already arranged it so Rock takes over his roles in Terminator and Conan when the movies get made. And "SpyHunter" will be a box office smash. The Rundown was critically acclaimed but it was released at the wrong time and it makes no sense that they pushed the film back so much. It was a good strong performance by the Rock and the only downside was Sean William Scott continuing to be unfunny. If anyone else headlines "The Rundown" it makes a total of 20 million at the box office.

They gotta change something in the rumble

1989, Hogan caused the elimination of SID by pulling on his arm allowing Flair to toss him out. And there have been a few other cases of such that should have led to a feud but didn't.

Damn, I'd like to know how the heck you found that.

    Need Help with old movie

Well, if the guy was an auto mechanic then I would say "A Boy's Life" with Leonardo Dicaprio and Robert DeNiro. But you'd notice those two and we'd have nailed the title the minute you mentioned them. Did you recognize anyone in the movie?
  15. I'd also like to see people quit with that "New England barely wins games, they are lucky" talk. New England wasn't exactly an offensive juggernaut the year they won the Super Bowl. That is not the type of team they are or have ever been. They are very much like the New York Giants with a great defense and an efficent offense. Plus, the Chiefs were blowing teams out but now they are sitting at home drinking beers and crying with Dick Vermeil. New England may not blow teams out, but they do just enough to win ballgames. I love what the Colts can do on offense and I still think they have an excellent chance to win this game. As a Pats fan, this is the last team...well actually, the Ravens were the last team....well, they were the last team I wanted to see New England have to face for the AFC title.
  16. New England runs so many defenses that it's almost impossible to figure them out. I think the Colts have a very good chance, but a great offensive mind cannot outdo a great defensive mind. However, the Colts have a very good defensive mind in Tony Dungy so it'll be an interesting game. I just can't pick offense over defense until I see offense top defense.

    Friday The 13th series...

Worst: Jason goes to Hell Should have been called the series goes to Hell cause Jason as a parasite was just horrible. And VORHEES RELATIVES?!?!? That movie made my brain hurt. And Jason was in it about 20 seconds and a KNIFE kills him?? It was lame.

    The Official MLB Offseason Topic

Yeah, he got wild at that Shorebirds game I saw him pitch. But this was before his surgery I think so he's a much different pitcher now. He's got great stuff and looked very good last season. I kind of think of him as having the potential to be a Tom Glavine but he could easily go Rick Ankiel on the O's. But I think he'll be a easy #2 starter in a year or two. Him and Ainsworth are loaded with potential and I think I rated Ainsworth slightly higher last season but I felt Riley had progressed so well that I could seem him pressing for the top three spot this season. If Lopez, who was suffering badly with injuries and couldn't get into sync last season, and the two prospect come through then the O's could easily have a pitching staff somewhat close to the Cubs but behind it. It's that much potential sitting there.

And it's not like he's Jose Hernandez for goodness sake.
  20. Lots of these angles needed to be aborted. Badly.

    The Official MLB Offseason Topic

ESPN tossed out the O's projected line-up and it looks like it should be pretty fun to watch. Brian Roberts/Jerry Hairston, 2B Melvin Mora, 3B Miguel Tejada, SS Rafael Palmeiro, 1B Javy Lopez, C Jay Gibbons, RF B.J. Surhoff, DH Luis Matos, CF Larry Bigbie, LF Sidney Ponson, RHP Rodrigo Lopez, RHP Kurt Ainsworth, RHP Eric DuBose, LHP Matt Riley, LHP/Omar Daal, LHP It's a solid core of veterans and young players mixed nicely and if Riley/Ainsworth come up like the scouts believe they can, it could be very interesting in the AL East.

    The Official MLB Offseason Topic

Yeah, that signing has been done since the Giants were eliminated from the playoffs. The O's grab one of the Giants top pitching prospects and they get back the guy they traded. Smart business decision and I hope it's a sign of the future. And the Cubs made a 2yr offer worth 7 million a year to Maddux so we'll see.

    Freddy VS Jason

Jason Vorhees is Jesus Christ in a hockey mask.

    Freddy VS Jason

Maybe cause when Freddy turned around his first time in the real world, Jason had that kick ass music come on as he prepared to open a can. Plus, how can I hate someone who slices the head off Kelly Rowland and stops her from acting?

    Freddy VS Jason

I always felt sorry for Jason as well. I mean, first a bunch of kids let him drown so they could get their sex on and then a bunch of campers kill his mom because mom was pissed the cops didn't make any arrests in the death of her son. Plus, Daddy Vorhees apparently died in Nam leaving mommy to care for her son all alone and with son and daddy gone, mommy just went a little nutty. And so when her son comes back from the dead for his mom, he discovers someone killed her. That's gotta be tough. Plus, when you damn WELL KNOWN that a camp has had serial murders after serial murders after serial murders and YOU GO....you deserve to die for being a damn moron. And Jason never killed one little child, only the teenagers who cared more about sex than watching those kids. I bet Jason saved one or two of the campers from drowning over his time under the lake. Now Freddy...that guy was just a FREAK man.
