If people are saying Jason White did not deserve this award with the numbers he put up while Chris Perry did, I have some issues. White was easily one of the top five players in the country. I say that with a dislike for the respect the Big 12 gets. I saw White play a few times and he looked much more impressive to me than Manning did. If Fitzgerald doesn't enter the draft (and I can't remember if he is even eligible) then it'll be between him, Roethberger, Sproles (if he returns), and probably Chris Rix I would say since he is on Florida St and is a QB and a senior which means he is automatically eligible. But Jason White and Fitzgerald were very much the front runners and I had no problem with either man winning the award. I have a small problem with the hit the Heisman again takes but that is the fault of the voters who just love their Jason White mug, Larry Fitzgerald t-shirt, Eli Manning hat, and Chris Perry parka.

You may also want to run a virus scan afterwards. It seems the virus makers are working overtime this year since they seem to spin out a new one every 20 seconds. I had no probs with White winning the Heisman. Fitzgerald was young so I knew he wasn't going to get it, Manning is still highly overrated in my mind from the games I saw (saw three and he was average at best), and Perry was maybe the third best back in the country. I'm REALLY curious to see what the NFL thinks of Jason White though. So far, he sounds like he's being treated as the fourth or fifth best QB entering the draft this season. We could have another Charlie Ward/ Eric Crouch situation on our hands if the NFL scouts don't start looking at White. Anyone else thinking maybe the Heisman really isn't a big deal award anymore? Like the BCS little glass football?

Kane makes the list for the same reason Warrior made the list, they are both former WWF champions. Kane had a 24 hour reign while Warrior had a decent length reign. Bundy and Calhoun make it for being larger than life and hard to take down...in other words, big ass hosses who if you knocked them down, they were like a turtle on it's back. But knocking them down was the problem.

To clairfy since you all have short term memories CAL was not a horrible team. They had an extremely tough schedule with K-State (who they lost to by LESS than OU) Utah, Southern Miss (who CAL defeated 34-2), and Colorado St. Of those four, ALL of them are in a bowl game. And Cal's biggest loss was 14 points. THEY DIDN'T SUCK for god sake. Not to mention, CAL is in a bowl game against Va Tech with a record of 7-6. Jesus Christ, you people are treating CAL like they didn't win a freakin game! CAL may not have been Kansas St, but it took them overtime to take down USC. And I'll even go as far as to say if CAL was in the WEAK Big 12 (please, four real good teams out of 12) then they would have been ranked in the top 25 since the Big 12 seems to be guaranteed the top 25 with its top 6 teams. The Big 12 schedules weak cause they know computers and sports writers will give their overrated conference a high s.o.s. because it has 12 teams. All three of these teams were equal and really, I'm tired of people treating it like you can say this team was better than that team cause of this loss or this team deserves to go because of this or so on and so forth. They all three deserved to go but when you leave the #1 team in the nation out then of course you can some things that need to be discussed. Oh and the CAL loss? USC paid for it, they dropped well down and had to pull themselves back up. You can't punish a team twice for a loss to a bowl team. Only Div I college football could come up with something as stupid and childish as the BCS. I'm off to watch Delaware vs Wofford in a *GASP* Division II PLAYOFF game. MY GOD! What a concept!

I have to disagree here, I really don't think the Yankees or the Red Sox have made the deals that the Blue Jays have. Toronto was really just a few arms short of a real play-off run last season and they seem to be working very hard to improve that rotation. I don't see Schilling really helping the Sox cause I see him on the DL most of the season. And the Yankees didn't make the smartest of deals so far. I think the Jays may surprise everyone and snag the division from both of them with the Yankees missing the wild card to the Red Sox.
