I think most of us are forgetting some major things....well at least one Vince is not IN the wrestling business, he is in the sports entertainment business. He keeps telling us this over and over and then we are shocked when the WWE doesn't offer as much wrestling as they should. What I don't understand is why Perry is even UP here when he wasn't even the best running back in the nation. Chris Perry is an outstanding running back but the Heisman Trophy obviously doesn't take into account the best players in college football, just the players with the best PR staff. Let's look at some of the numbers across the nation for these guys -Jason White: #1 in Passing rating (167.99), #5 in yards passing (3744), and #2 in touchdowns (48 with 8 INTS) so he has the creds to be here. Good call. -Larry Fitzgerald: #1 in receiving yards (1595), #1 in the nation in scoring (132), #7 in receptions (87), #1 in touchdowns for receivers (22). Definately deserves to be there. -Chris Perry: #4 in rushing yards (1589), #81 in yards per carry (5.0), and #7 in touchdowns (17). So why exactly is Perry even here? Oh, he's a senior....nevermind. I like Perry but he wasn't even the best RB in the country. Talented but not the best. -Eli Manning: #22 in QB rating (147.5, wasn't even the highest rated Eli), #12 in touchdowns (27 with 9 INTS), and #12 in yards (3341). Never has a last name earned so much respect for such average numbers for a quarterback. Advantage: Jason White over Fitzgerald Ok, so let's take into account the records as well, to be fair Jason White: 12-1 Larry Fitzgerald: 8-4 Chris Perry: 10-2 Eli Manning: 9-3 Advantage: Jason White It looks like White has got it wrapped up but I have some guys who got dissed and dissed badly -Darren Sproles RB K-State: #1 in rushing yards (1948), #9 in Yards per carry (6.6), and #11 in touchdowns (15) on just 293 carries. Sproles, a JR, SHOULD be back next year and SHOULD be the favorite to win it since he can't this year -Phillip Rivers QB NC-ST: #2 in ratings (166.7), #4 in yards (4016), #8 in touchdowns (29 with 7 INTS). What killed Rivers? His teams record of 7-5 but without Rivers they don't win one game. Not only that but Rivers hit 71% of his passes, second in the nation. Should be there instead of Eli Manning. -Ben Roethlisberger QB Miami (OH): #7 in rating (163.5), #2 in yards (4110), #6 in touchdowns (33 with 10 INTS). Lead Miami (OH) to a 12-1 record in his JUNIOR season, while completing 69.5% of his passes and winning the MAC title. If returns, should be a leading Heisman candiate with Sproles next season. My final five would have been: Jason White Larry Fitzgerald Ben Roethlisberger Darren Sproles Phillip Rivers However, of the NCAA final four I think Jason White is the obvious choice with Fitzgerald second.

You avoid most of the interviews and the crappy backstage segments. If you like wrestling then you go to a house show. If you like sports entertainment then house shows may not be your cup of tea since most of it is cut out. Maybe I should have just summed it the hell up like that in the first place?

I saw RAW live when the Hitman was still in a wheelchair and Ahmed Johnson was feuding with the Nation (it was right after that IYH where Taker defeated Austin and Ahmed lost that gaunlet match) Also known as the night RVD debuted against Jeff Hardy I saw ECW last show at the Arena, that was also cool and now a very special moment. I saw Nitro which ended up being the last match of Arn Anderson. So would I go now? Hell f'n no! Usually the LIVE shows are very good but I remember when the house shows used to just be the PPV repeated. Now it's the guys you would only know if you saw them in another promotion. I didn't go the last time SD or RAW was in town but if you have never seen a live event then, yeah go.

Loser must leave the WWE....come to think of it, Winner must ALSO leave the WWE. The only way I want to see Taker vs Kane is if Kane learns how to wrestle on PPV and both of them suddenly have the ability to move like a young Rey Jr.

Am I the only one who could be watching RAW and JR will say either "played football in college for..." or "this is a smashmouth battle.." and suddenly remember that Monday Night Football is on? RAW fans who are watching a bad RAW do NOT need to be reminded that MNF is on at the same time. How well would Smackdown work if Michael Cole talked about CSI and Friends during the telecast?

I also think it's a little bit of doubt placed on IROD every season. And actually, Pudge DID get the Rangers into their only playoff series IIRC but was sidelined many of the AROD years because of injuries that obviously have healed. It just seems every year that Pudge gets doubted because of his age and every season he proves people wrong by coming through in a big way. Plus I'm sure the Giants wish the Marlins didn't have him last season when that play at home happened. I love Vlad but if I had to choose who the Cubs could get, I would take Pudge in a heartbeat. You go with needs and the Marlins are not in a hitters park and Vlad will not excel in Florida.

Because Pudge is on the wrong side of 30, and wanted too many years on his contract. Vlad meanwhile is in his prime, and is a monster hitter. His .588 Slugging percentage is 10th all time, and his most comparable player at his age is Willie Mays. Vlad is a special player. But Pudge just proved that he can still catch, can still hit with power and the pitching staff seemed to connect with him. If Pudge had shown any sign of downgrade, then yeah I say this is a good move. But now you are going to count on a young catcher to control a young staff. It just feels like the wrong move considering the guy helped them win the World Series. I love Vlad but if you ask me, if you have a young staff then the MVP is a veteran catcher. You can bet the Cubs will go charging after him now.

If you watch the Jericho reactions, I think it's just a chance to set up Y2J feuding with Christian and Matt Hardy. But what confuses me is....wasn't Lita supposed to be getting a title shot at Molly at the PPV?
