No. The Pats beat the Eagles ONCE...and it was during the whole Limbaugh/McNabb controversy....as well as numerous injuries. Quit being so darned pigheaded and be more open-minded to the facts. Guess again, I'm from Delaware and if you had known you would have realized New England came into that game as beat up as Philly. Why is it Philly can claim injuries are why they lost even though NE came in missing linemen, running backs, and wide receivers and even Brady came in banged up. I'm looking at it from a fair view. NE won the game with the same beat up team and they aren't flashy, but they win. And to re-state, I'm not saying the Eagles are miles behind NE. I say they are all three are extremely close and in fact this is why I love the NFL. Anyone can win the thing cause they are all that good.

No, the AFC is way better. But that means shit. Philly plays AFC teams as well. All I am saying is that they are the best team in the NFC and has improved greatly since their loses. Let me get this straight New England beats Dallas, Miami, Denver, Indy, Philly, and the Titans but they aren't the best team in the NFL because they don't blow teams out? When did blowing teams out become the measuring stick? Eagles are the best in the NFC, New England is slightly better in the AFC and so far in the head to head when BOTH teams were battered, the Pats beat them. I don't understand how the Eagles are better than the Patriots. They aren't flashy but they win and that is what football really is all about. Also, the Pats just wrapped up their division in the AFC. The Chiefs and Pats are sooo close for the best in the AFC and I can't see the NFC as the better conference.

Who in the hell is saying the Eagles aren't any good? Who is that stupid right now? But for god sake, can people PLEASE quit forgetting that New England has beaten the Eagles and the Colts and the Titans. It's like all these other teams say "Well, we already beat so and so" but when New England fans say it, the other team fans counter with "They weren't the same team then!" Just stop. Philly struggled because of injuries and when they became healthy, they became the best team in the NFC. NE is still struggling with injuries and they are officially the best team in the AFC right now. Nothing but love for the Eagles though. I see them going to the Super Bowl.

NE has beaten both Ind and the Titans (why does EVERYONE seem to forget that???) NE is very good, Indy is very good, KC is very good....screw it, the entire AFC is good. NE has never been impressive, impressive doesn't win the Super Bowl. If it did, Indy would have four in the last six years. Defense does win the championship and by that I mean the offense doesn't blow it. Even when the New England offense tried to blow it, the defense pulled them out.

Conference USA ALWAYS gets five bowls. It's part of their contract with the bowl committee. Also, LSU will NOT write off Oklahoma. And if anyone would like to know, what is really funny here is this. Who does Sports Illustrated mark as National Champion for that deal they do if USC beats Michigan? Why the winner of OU/LSU And who will the NCAA release merchandise for National Champion? Winner of OU/LSU USC will be nothing more than a * in the record book. Also, Northern Illnois not getting a bowl is a huge joke. No respect for the small conferences at all.

Smart team. Home games means higher gate which means bigger payout which also means more state recruits will see you in a hometown bowl game. I like it.

It depends. LSU is a great defense but if Oklahoma plays like Oklahoma instead of that god awful team I saw Saturday night....then it will be a damn good game but I think OU wins it. And is anyone else looking at these bowls and thinking "Man, these games don't sound fun at all."

No, they won't. The AP will not punish USC for barely beating #4 in the nation. The only way Oklahoma or LSU gets it outright is if USC loses to Michigan. No other way.

I love how the BCS tries to claim USC is #3 in the nation. No, they are #3 in your BSC which should officially be called Bullshit Championship. I hope USC does win big cause those kids deserve a national championship. To say the best team in the Pac 10 isn't as good as the second best team in the Big 12 is a joke. It's a joke. The BCS doesn't work and the one time it worked was last year when even the damn AP had the match-up correct.

John Saunders considers the Pac 10 to be a mid major conference so it's not shocking he would say that. If it's USC vs LSU then I think lot of the talk ends. However, if they leave off USC and USC beats Michigan then the BCS failed to do what it was designed to do which was make a clear cut national champion. The BCS makes my head hurt.

Not to mention OU picks up another quality opponent. USC vs LSU might get the BCS title game and it looks like that might be the only option. I doubt they do but it seems like the only option. If the AP comes out the same and USC is NOT in the BCS title game....damn, all hell will break loose.

Hell yes that would be an amazing game. Considering Miami (OH) has probably the best QB that the nation has never seen [i've seen him a few times and damn that guy can throw], I think it would easily be the best bowl game. But it won't happen cause the bowls have a certain set-up and that doesn't usually include fun match-ups like that. I still think Boise State and Miami (OH) got cheated in the rankings. No love for the smaller conferences cause of that damn computer. I think both of these teams could kick some Top Five ass. I really agree, Miami(OH) vs Boise State would rock.

If Michigan beats USC then Michigan would end up as #2 and the winner of LSU/Oklahoma is the national champion outright. You want to know what is REALLY funny? LSU hurt themselves by beating Georiga cause that may knock Georiga out of the top ten which would knock Georiga out of being a quality win.

And USC dominated crappy teams! If USC HAD played harder teams then THEY WOULD BE THE BCS #2 or #1. That is the point! Does anyone know how the stupid BCS computer even WORKS for god sake??? The freaking strength of schedule WAS AS FOLLOWS Oklahoma 14 LSU 54 USC 37 And that was before this weeks game. God, lower the number, the harder the schedule. USC does not have ONE quality win.

And why does a playoff not happen? Simply put....money. That's all folks, pure and simple it's the money. And yes, one year does kill it. Because it was brought in to prevent this, it failed which means it's no better than what we had before. It got it right once, and that was last year.

Alright...let me see Washington (6-6) Washington St (9-3) Oregon St (7-5) UCLA (6-6) Notre Dame (5-7) Stanford (4-7) Arizona (2-10) Arizona State (5-7) Cal (7-6) Lost to Cal Hawaii (8-4) BYU (4-8) Auburn (7-5) And FUTHERMORE, if USC had played the harder schedule then they wouldn't be behind Oklahoma IN the BCS. Talk down to Oklahoma all you guys want, but they didn't have an easier schedule than USC.

What's really sad is I never thought this chaos would happen this year. Right now, Michigan holds the fate of the BCS in their hands. If they beat USC, the chaos is over and the BCS works. But if USC wins....oh hell.... And this is exactly what College football was before the BCS so I'm used to the mass confusion.

The coaches can't prevent the split. Only the AP can prevent the split. And the AP LOATHES the BCS since the BCS was supposed to fix the problem that was the AP POLL. The coaches cannot do anything to prevent this split. Only the AP can and they are going to put USC #1 and LSU #2 with Oklahoma #3 or possibly all the way down to #4 behind Michigan. The AP has been waiting for this day and now they have the first piece to crushing the BCS to death.
