No, Cary said "Let's face it, he's dead" in the commentary track. But not once have the police, Jigsaw or ANYONE said Gordon is dead. No body was found in the tunnel, no sign of him and really he did sorta do what was asked of himself to survive. One would assume he did die but at the same time, there has never been an ounce of closure on what the fuck happened to him. I think it's just a storyline they cannot wrap up and it's becoming the one loose thread. The one MAJOR flaw that the series is getting now is Jigsaw recruited nothing but murders. Amanda; Murderer. Hoffman; Murderer times 5! That is what is hurting the series now. It's just murderers, not testers. Hoffman is an in between, willing to murder to protect his own ass which Jigsaw SPECIFICALLY tried to show him was the wrong path. Which means we'll get ANOTHER Jigsaw before it's over who will deal with Hoffman. More than likely, Jig's wife will be the one assigned to end Jigsaw's work once and for all. Another thing I noticed is they showed all the officers who died EXCEPT the guy who got shotgun blasted in the top of the head. I don't get why they didn't show a picture of him. The best scenes in part 5 are the Tobin scenes, the rest is just discovering that Hoffman is nothing more than Amanda 2.0. Some of the positives but still the same murdering flaw. Not bad, not good, just again sorta there.

It's finally playing near me this weekend. I honestly didn't expect to see it until Feb but the local theater here is having basically an Oscar weekend with a lot of the films that hadn't made it here finally getting their play.

How do you even remove someone's head with a kitchen knife? Isn't there some bone that one would need to get through that I'd imagine a kitchen knife would take quite a while to get through? The most I can figure is shock kicked in and no one wanted to risk their own life for a corpse. I mean once the throat is slit, you'd have to apply immediate pressure to keep the person alive and I don't think a kitchen knife is going to leave a clean cut. So you are asking someone to step into a situation to save a dead body or a woman whose chance of survival was slim. It's sounds like an odd description of the situation as well. They were calmly having coffee and suddenly the dude is just removing her head? If this comes out that he asked her on a date and she said no and he "overreacted" then I don't know if I'll feel disgusted or laugh. Probably a little of both.

Walmart here is selling it for 10. I don't know if it was a sale or they are just trying to get rid of the inventory they have (the red tag made me think it was a clean out type thing). But a 10 dollar price tag on a PS3 game made me extremely unsure of getting it. We are going back tomorrow to try to snag a copy since they had a ton left.

Nope, I'd take Britt and Nicks over Harvin. I'd say Crabtree, Maclin, Nicks, Britt and Harvin are my top five. The only strike I have against Heyward-Bey is I saw him drop a LOT of wide open balls and try to much to cut back instead of going straight up the field in third down situations. His field recognition and hands concern me but both are easy fixes with the right coaching. I don't have any strikes against Harvin other than he is a Florida wide out and I really lack the trust in them after Chad Jackson. And Harvin has that same "durability concern" tag that Jackson had. But a strong injury free combine erases those doubts quickly. With that said, I wouldn't be surprised to see him go before Britt, Nicks and Maclin but I like all three guys a little bit more than Harvin. The Niners need one but I know their pick will be going to OL or Safety so they might just be able to get one of them in the second round. They have had a lot of success with Jason Hill so maybe they get lucky and snag Heyward as well.

Only the god damn Orioles would fight off trade after trade where they get max value for Roberts only to low ball him later when their backs are about to be up against the wall with him. They already lack a shortstop and as far as I know, no one in the system is worth a damn at second base either. And odds are if they try and deal him NOW when the other teams know they aren't going to open their wallet to keep him will leave them not getting much in a trade. I just don't get the logic there. Fight to keep the guy and then don't make him a solid offer.

Nicks from North Carolina is the probably the only receiver who I can think of right now where I'd say if you can't get Crabtree, you can get the guy who might be on the same level in terms of speed and route running. Size and strength, no, but his skills in the other two areas make up for it. I'd be shocked if Nicks is still around after the first 20 picks.

I went down to this show too. Agreed on the number of new songs (especially since I've only briefly listened to the new album), but I enjoyed the mix of older songs they played. Thought the set-up/effects were good too. Overall I really enjoyed it. What older songs did you guys get? And how long did they go for, the usual 2 plus hour Metallica or shorter?

Yes, it does. Relying on blind luck is not a good business model. That's why teams spend millions upon millions in free agency and getting ready for the draft. Does anyone know for sure that Donovan wants BACK in Philly? Cause I don't know if he does. Earlier in 2008, yeah for sure. But he might not want to be back again after this. It might be a case where it would be better for both parties to just end their abusive relationship. And TO back in Philly? What, does the stadium need someone for the dunk tank? If McNabb does want to stay and does stay, he needs a #1. TJ isn't a #1 guy, he's a compliment guy. You already have the deep threat Terry Gleen-ish compliment in DeSean Jackson. They need their over the middle possession guy. If it's Boldin, then a Boldin-Jackson-Curtis trio is one speedy bunch. TJ just feels like they would still have 2 #2 receivers. But I don't know, I think Boldin is headed fast towards ego-ville. Another thing I'd really REALLY like to see the Eagles address is a short yardage pound back. Third and short killed them all season and it wasn't friendly again in the playoffs. Westbrook, as much as I hate saying it, is running quickly out of legs considering the punishment he has taken. They really need to consider finding another guy FOR THE FUTURE (not now Eagle fans). Buckhalter and Booker just strike me as Westbrook clones, which is great for the passing game but zero help in short yardage spots. They need to find one somewhere, anywhere.

That is the main problem everyone has had. It doesn't work in the least. As for the bad ass lines, I don't know, they still seem cool to me. You can see his mouth moving under the mask so it's working for me.

Plus how is Donovan supposed to win today when it was the DEFENSE who suddenly decided to stop frickin blitzing on the Cards last drive after the four drives before they blitzed them to death and it worked. The changing of the defense once the Eagles had the lead made zero sense to me. Why do you suddenly go to a coverage defense when the massive overload blitz was making sure Warner had zero time. McNabb and the offense did everything in the second half. It was the defense that failed in the first half and at the end.

I didn't know the Steelers punter was a soccer fan. To be fair, both teams played rather lousy when it came to execution. The Ravens defense has been miserable on third down on plays that shouldn't happen (the across his body across the field touchdown, yeah). Who would have thought the sloppy game would have been the Steelers vs Ravens? This score could easily be 0-0 or 28-0. The pass interference call, I had zero problems with since yeah McFadden got there WAY early. They are mostly just letting them go in this game but if the Ravens plan is to put the game into the hands of Flacco, they are dead. This is NOT the team you ask a rookie quarterback to win against.

Well, she said she met him when he looked much OLDER than he does as Tennant so obviously that storyline isn't being handled by Smith. And yeah, it was made clear that it was his wife of the future err past err something. Really I don't know when that storyline will come into play since we know he'll be older and she'll be younger. Someone wasn't paying ATTENTION when it came to that one. We also have the Doctor's "daughter" floating around doing the work of her "father". Bad Wolf I thought was Davaros returning? That seemed to be what they were implying. Least I thought so. I could be horribly wrong though. It has been tied to Rose and Davaros so god knows who is next. There also seemed to be some indications that Bad Wolf might have been the Doctor himself (least according to Dav). I'm just wondering who is going to get the honor of taking out Tennant's doctor this time. The first time it was the Daleks, but I can't see a way the Daleks return ALREADY with the Cybermen showing up in the Christmas special (I really need to dl that).

The funny thing is David can return for a guest appearance as well..the Doctor anytime he choses. His human form is in another universe banging the hell out of the Doctor's love Rose Tyler. This is a dreadful 24-ish wait only it would be like knowing Jack Bauer dies in a movie BEFORE the new season, only you have to wait a year for the special that leads into the extra year wait for the new season. New show lead. New Doctor. Lots of questions about the future of the series and whether it can hold together. But after that wrist slitting ending to the last "series", it's going to be hard to get cheerful.

The new Doctor Who has been chosen and going by what I've seen of his work and what I know of how the guy looks now, I'm entirely disappointed. Matt Smith looks more worthy of being a Doctor Who villain at best, not the Doctor himself. Hopefully his performance makes it all work out but right now, eh. ETA: I'm aware I'm considerably behind on this announcement but after just discovering the news, I'm leaving my opinion.

Attitude I'm sure teams can learn to live with (unless it's a T.O attitude) but breaking the law and putting the team in a horrible position because you are suspended, that's a problem.
