Dude, he got to make the Backlash main event and make Coach look like a bitch. Hmm, I must have missed that part. I guess he did make out pretty ok.

Hopkins kills his wife and goes out to ruin the career of a hot shot lawyer just because he's a massive prick and he wants to get anyway with murder. In SOTL, he's a serial killer who has already been captured and convicted helping the FBI find another serial killer. I'm really not seeing how they even compare to each other besides the fact Anthony Hopkins is in both.

My only question is: What kind of dying kid wants his last wish to be that he gets to be GM of RAW for a night? And what exactly did he do? He didn't make a match, no one beat him up and the most he got was a hug from Maria. That kid got robbed man, totally robbed!

Couldn't a reason for it be, say, Marcus Cor Von vs Bobby Lashley for the ECW title at ONS 3?
-
Well after reading it, I really cannot buy it and if that was the way then it would be the worst ending ever. Talk about something that would kill everything a series did. I'm still in favor of Tony getting away scott free and the ending just him sitting behind a desk with his feet up smoking a cigar while the theme played. Screw the "bad guy gets whats coming" crap, I want a "bad guy wins, screw the good guys" ending.

I'd like to know, if they don't want it added as a spoiler then PM that. Cause I lost HBO some time ago and I'm only really interested in how the door closes.

Orioles have packed three runs onto Chad Durbin in the third with a homer by Millar, a bunt single with stolen base by Patterson, an RBI bloop single by Roberts and a smacked double by Mora. Cabrera has looked pretty good so far for the Orioles so maybe he finally has learned to pitch like his potential. And it's entirely possible his dumb self was just blind for quite some time. He has looked very much improved since his glasses and eye correction surgery. ETA: Add on an RBI single by Miggy and it's 4-1 O's over Tigers in the bottom of the third.

He annoys the guys above him and they just humor him with a match. That's all I have ever been able to figure out from the logic standpoint. Plus he does have the WWE equal of a Nascar past champions provisional that keeps getting him back into the mix.

I'm with Hawk, to anyone seeing the previews it looked incredibly cheesy and if you didn't intend to see it before then they weren't changing your mind. It's a very niche movie and while I think the totals still stink, at least it beat that god awful THE REAPING. I'm more interested in how Grindhouse holds up in week 2 than I am opening weekend. I still think it's going to be horrible on DVD. It'll lose the whole feel that is needed for it to be enjoyable.

Didn't that scientist guy die in the series at the end of part 3?

O's top the Yankees 6-4 in a game where the Yankee's starter AGAIN failed to make it five innings. Rasner went 4 1/3 innings, allowing five runs on 8 hits with 2 homeruns allowed. Their bullpen is being really worked here in the opening week but they are doing a pretty good job. But that starting staff has got to be a concern with the way it's pitching right now.
-
The Yankees bullpen is basically dead on their feet from the starters not being able to go five innings. So Andy worked an inning almost as a warm-up for his Tuesday start. Additional spring training basically.

Just when you thought it was safe to buy a sofa..

So the Klan has started making sofas? Wow, they really are branching out into new things. -
He's like every Oriole closer since Gregg Olson left. When he's on, he's on. But when he's off, god damn you are just waiting for him to give up a long ball to lose it. Sometimes they just gotta admit he doesn't have his stuff and go to someone else, you aren't hurting his confidence if you keep giving him chances in those situations. But leaving him in there after two hard hit balls, a walk and a hit batter ISN'T going to help him. Yesterday he was on. Today, he was miserable and just waiting to blow it and sure enough he did.

Umm, I'm not sure how South Africa can reclaim a continent they never owned or had control over. It's going to take an entire UN effort of constant attention to even come remotely close to a solution. And the solution isn't going to make anyone happy because a lot of those governments like the fact they can slaughter their citizens for wealth. It is going to probably take a country by country effort. But damn, this sitting on our hands and hoping to talk it out isn't working. I'm not saying overthrow that government because the next one will probably just do the same thing but to different citizens, but a UN citizen protection force to stop the genocide WOULD be a great fucking idea by now.

If he had swung and missed, I think he might have started crying on home plate as they booed him out of the city. There was no way he was missing, that ball was belt high, dead center and didn't even look like it had much on it. That was one of those "HIT ME!" pitches. Should have thrown one low but he didn't appear to have command of anything. That was ugly considering Traschel actually pitched decent. I really don't get why anytime Baltimore signs someone to strengthen the bullpen, he comes in and looks like the same damn unready rookies he was being asked to replace.
-
Don't forget, two strikes. Ray was all over the damn place so it was only a matter of getting guys up who could smack it. Doug almost did him in but Gomez saved him there. No one was saving that ball from A-Rod, he killed that sucker.
-
The Orioles bullpen blows a 7-3 lead and A-Rod gets the big game winning grand slam. So new players, same story but with an A-Rod twist.
-
Not to mention I thought Zoe Bell was outstanding. And I agree K, the second roundtable worked so much better because the girls had a ounce of acting talent and the conversation worked so well.
-
Igawa getting his first start for the Yankees, wearing sunglasses which I really cannot remember a pitcher doing. But he is having a fine game, 7 ERs on 7 hits with 3 walks, 2 Ks and an error. A fine start. On the plus side for the Yankees, A-Rod has homered again and has all the Yankee RBIs.

The only things I thought were bad was the first 10 minutes of Death Proof, mainly because it's a traditional Quentin opening and the female actors just were incredible bad. With better actors it might have worked but without them, it felt like the only time to go take a piss. And Rob Zombie's trailer just felt out of place with his stupid name and all of that up there. Everything else? Campy gory action filled fun. Exactly what I was expecting. I loved it but I know it's just not going to work on DVD. It feels like one of those "see it in a theater or don't even bother" films.

Dealing with all of those backstage politics and constant mind numbing stupid decisions, I'd need every other year off too. Course TNA is the same way.
-
The only major cable network I can think of is FX, which has never aired wrestling. I only consider the major cable networks to be ESPN (has shown wrestling long time ago), MTV (wrestling twice), FX, Scifi (currently), ABCfamily (yeah..not that one), and maybe FUSE but that is highly doubtful as well. Either way, I think Spike is a safer place for TNA. None of their shows, except UFC, really clean up in the ratings and MNTV is in the process of canceling most of their first year bombs. Plus they have that whole "Spike wants WWE dead" thing going, which is helpful as well.

Has there been a government in Africa that took control that didn't go corrupt? I'm seriously asking cause I'm not sure. I guess South Africa would be the closest right?
