Without a healthy Crabtree, the Texas Tech offense REALLY sucks. They are going to be beyond miserable next year from the look of things. Leach should leave while he has the chance. And the Red Raiders defense made a big stand earlier after the punt return, but their offense then once again put them with their backs to the wall. They are serviceable, but not when the offense can't do a damn thing positive.

All indications remain Cowher doesn't want to coach anymore right now. The guy is happy with his family and CBS. I still believe he's waiting for a job closer to his family to come open. So that means the Browns, Jets, Rams, Broncos, Lions and the Raiders are open. Raiders job might just go to the guy they have now since I don't know who wants to work with Al. Dallas should come open but even if it does, that's Garrett's team. Gruden will be in trouble next year. His defense will be working with a new coordinator and if that guy doesn't do well, the Bucs offense isn't good enough to save them.

Singletary was announced to 49er players post-game as the new head coach, interim tag removed. Looks like something positive for the Niners and a great move. I think Singletary was ready to be a head coach earlier this year. They get a line and get some more talent in the secondary (need a new free safety) and they can be dangerous. Especially in the NFC West. The Rams are probably still a year or two away, I don't think Seattle even has an idea who the next coach will be or how long Hasselbeck has left in his body, and the Cards have proven themselves beatable and Warner isn't going to be able to go forever. It's a wide open division and I think they can finally clear the hump next year. Least I hope so, watching my girl watch them lose is getting depressing as fuck.

Congrats to the Dolphins and Chad Pennington. They have one hell of a great coach and that is going to be an interesting match-up. Two rookie head coaches and a cast off quarterback vs a well developing rookie, fighting to see who advances to the second round of the playoffs. Only Jim Zorn fails to make the playoffs of all the rookie coaches. In fact, the Redskins actually finished the season losing to the Niners on a last second field goal. I don't know what happens there cause I can't figure out what they don't have on offense to fix. Something just doesn't work with that team. As for the Niners, god damn they better sign Singletary now and lock up Shaun Hill. He looks like he has won the job outright now, although a late pick on another quarterback wouldn't be a bad choice. Wade Phillips might be a dead duck in Dallas although he could easily get a defensive coordinator job somewhere I'd imagine. Marty-Ball could be coming to Cleveland, not sure how that'll work out. And as much as I hate to do it, I will because the fans have been complete and utter DICKS around here (where I am)....HOW BOUT THEM COWBOYS!
