I had huge hopes for TNA when the MEM angle first started. Now they have taken it in a sad, sad direction. I see though that Suicide (AKA The Fallen Angel it seems) is still being built up though. But the sad thing is....he's just Sting to the MEM NWO. I wish I could count on them making the reveal that it's Christopher Daniels stick in a positive manner but I'm losing hope. The writing and booking team have become really really lousy lately. And that makes me very disappointed.

Shane just bumping his ass off is fine with me. Shane in a match with the wrestler selling his punches like he's a combination of Ali-Tyson-Jones-Lewis bothers the shit out of me.

Are condoms so rare and expensive that people suddenly can't find and afford them? Why does the government need to pick up that bill? If you want to put the money towards actual sexual education other than abstinence (which I'm fine with teaching that as well) then cool. Course abstinence doesn't need money since it's really just telling kids "Don't have sex until your married" and there is zero to spend money teaching there. We've still got kids who firmly believe the pull out method is 100% full proof and that the pill is 100% effective with no chance of getting preggers. That alone tells me the schools are doing a really REALLY shitty job with sex ed now.

Either way you look at it now, anything with the McMahons usually ends predictably with a heel turn. Which is why now they need to AVOID it. Ok, so what they COULD do is have Orton claim he had started medication for his "illness" which is why Shane got the drop on him and it'll never go down like that again. Instead of either Shane or Stephanie turning heel, which is what ALWAYS happens and why it wouldn't work in the least, it would just be Orton destroys Shane to a point where the entire roster is disgusted and maybe have Cody and Ted forcefully make Stephanie watch as Orton turns Shane into a bloody mess. If there is one thing Shane does well is bump like a madman when it comes time for him to sell. That is really the only way Orton is saved now. He cannot side with the McMahons, he has to go past the line. He has to destroy them. Not Austin destroy, absolutely go into a ruthless destructive side where it's obvious if he was allowed he would kill one of them without feeling sorry for it. Orton punting the bloody battered face of Shane as a screaming Stephanie is made to watch can be a dark image to build him back around. Have him show up the next night on RAW and make it clear he is willing to do the same thing to her. In fact, have him PREPARED to do it and have his Mania opponent come out and stop it. Not with a beatdown, but with Randy being a smart calculating guy who will get out of there to analyze his situation. Orton can be saved but they have to push him in a different direction that doesn't involved him sided with a McMahon. For me anyway, I need to see him see the line and just cross it so violently that he leaves a stunning mark on the McMahon family that no one has been willing to ever leave. Cause siding with a McMahon would be the least logical thing for him and it would just turn into a McMahon vs McMahon match with special guest appearance by Royal Rumble winner Randy Orton.

Shane didn't just destroy Legacy or whatever they are called, he wiped out Kofi Kingston who just scored a big win over Kane as well. If it went longer, Shane probably would have single handed wiped out the whole roster. This is why Shane needs to stay behind the scenes. He does this every time he shows up on screen.

Not sure. I know there have been some lower priced generic ones released in the last few months. Intially there was RCA, Zenith, GE, DISH, and APEX. Now about five or six other companies with no names, just saying "ACCESS HD" have hit the market. So the market has been flooded with converter boxes and a lot of them don't work properly or at all, cannot be returned and leaves the consumer screwed.

I'm still holding out hope for complete Sliders and Quantum Leap sets. I think I am holding out for something that will never happen.

It was just the whole problem with they didn't inform anyone they might also need to buy a new antenna to pick up the weaker but clearer digital signal. Depending on when you live in relationship to wear the digital signal is decides what kind of antenna you need. And some will be strong enough to bring in the signal, but not the audio. There have been some reports of companies refusing to take antenna returns as well, even though the brand new one wasn't strong enough to pick up the signal. Basically it goes like this: -If you get less than 5 stations, you need a new antenna but MIGHT be able to get one of the lower cost ones. Most stations are ready for the switch so you should be getting the signal already. -If you get all the channels but no sound, you need a new antenna and it will be a little pricey but not extremely bad -If you get none of them, spread your rear and prepare for rough entry Right now a large majority of Americans fall into those categories. That is where the switchover is coming into a problem. They ran out of money for the switch coupons and now a lot of people are discovering they are still not getting any television after buying the "it's just that easy!" (how the local station here pushes it, some lady sitting on the floor and exclaims it..guess she was one of the lucky ones) boxes. It wouldn't be so bad if you knew which antennas would pick up digital but you don't know exactly as now most antennas hitting the shelves (at higher costs now that they know how needed they might be) all claim they can pick up signals clear and simple. And they probably aren't lying really, just they aren't saying how close to the signal you need to be. So to recap: The governments ad campaign and the television stations ad campaigns did not cover the antenna problem in the least. It's not even known if the government knew about the antenna issue at all when they made this decision. The boxes you buy are yours. If any of them are broke, tough. You aren't getting your money back, bite the bullet and deal with it. And no, you cannot get a new coupon to buy a new one. You'll need to spend the additional money to buy more boxes. (this has become a HUGE problem as well) If you don't get the clear signal, sorry but you need to buy a new antenna. Sorry, we don't know which one you'll need and you may have to eat the money you spend on that as well since some stores are refusing to accept those returns now.

She pretty much wasn't any more. She had to qualify for the Aussie open as a wildcard, and when they interviewed her after her last match, she said that her goal for the tournament had been "to play well in the 1st round". That's the whole reason she was a story going into the R16 last night. Then, in the 3rd set, she rolled over on her ankle big-time to the point that it was gross looking, and she just kept playing on for the 7-5 5-7 8-6 win. See, that is a great story and I can tell you more about the Grizzlies losing a basketball game than that.

I actually blame this on tennis. The sport has done a miserable job promoting itself. I totally forgot the Aussie Open was even ON cause I haven't heard a peep about it. Tennis gets next to zero coverage on ESPN, FSN, or anywhere anymore. It has sank to the level of pool in terms of knowing when it is on. Like for example you mention Dokic, I didn't even know she was still playing. Tennis and boxing seem to have both fallen into the trench with golf (which is bleeding out without any of the stars playing on the tour and no new ones emerging) and soccer [in America, where I doubt it will ever escape]. It's a shame. The Aussie, the US Open and Wimbledon used to get HUGE coverage. I barely heard anything about the US and Wimbledon last year and this year I didn't even know the Aussie was happening.

Wait...whut? Certain antennas do not pick up digital signals and even in the major cities, there are major problems getting the signals to a strength that is receivable. Digital is not this great and wonderful savior, the fact is it either works really well or doesn't work worth a damn. Right now the "doesn't work worth a damn" is far outweighing the "works amazing" crowd. And then some of the converters boxes will only hook to certain televisions with a special digital cable, that cable runs about 40 bucks or more depending on the quality of cable you want. Add in the federal government running out of money for the coupons to allow Americans to buy a box they are essentially forcing on them is turning into a fiasco as well.

They could always trade out of the spot, possibly acquiring a second round pick for someone who wants to move up and snag Crabtree or one of the linemen. They can still get who they want and need a few spots lower and if they can find a buyer, they should sell. They have too many needs to fill and if they feel confident with Bowe then attack the FA market for another wide receiver. There is this guy T.J available. If they can't, I would say go defense as well. There were a LOT of games where they put up points but just failed to hold the leads. If they can stop that, I think they are in much better shape than anyone figures.

Actually, the converter box isn't going to work for some people. Some areas will need to buy new cables, new antennas, and tons of other new items that sends the cost from 60 to 180 dollars+. The "just install a converter box" was a totally load of bullshit. It's not as simple as they made it seem in the least for a lot of people. Some people have already bought the box, now they are being told they will need a brand new antenna to pick up the signals. Then you have the reality that if anyone does buy a defection box, there isn't shit they can do with it since it cannot be returned to the stores and the companies who sold them are not offering up replacement boxes unless an additional 30 dollar fee is paid. Then you have a list of companies producing the boxes who just are impossible to get in contact with unless you plan to give them 70 dollars for one of their "high powered" antennas. The whole program is still a massive mess.

We had a team here win 118-13 and after the game, the coach whose team scored 118 was pissed his defense allowed 13 points. Going as far as to say they would be ready for them next year and not overlook them like they did. It was a rather fun interview to conduct.

The Chiefs, man he didn't get that ship going in the right direction at all. He wasted a pick on Brodie Croyle (still a dumb move considering the guy sucked as a quarterback against COLLEGE players), tried to count on Trent Green and Damon Huard (seriously Herm? Seriously?) and never found more than one receiver worth a damn to give his below average quarterbacks someone to throw too. It didn't help that his defense evaporated late in a lot of games and the Chiefs one playoff game against the Colts the offensive line was beyond embarrassed. Herm did an overall poor job with the Chiefs franchise and really got lucky he got this last season. Shame for Tyler Thigpen though, I think he will be a much much better quarterback next year. He was essentially a rookie out there and he made a lot of rookie mistakes. But I wouldn't go with Sanchez, I'd rather see them take another chance with Thigpen and look for a quarterback next season.

I don't know if it's evil or those with self centered personalities who have convinced themselves the world revolves around them. While Amanda did become one, Hoffman murdered the man who killed his sister before he ever met Jigsaw. Jigsaw just chalked it up to rage over the man killing his sister but Hoffman did in fact murder the guy and tried to pin it on Jigsaw. Amanda, I really don't know what her problem was, showed murderous tendencies right out of the gate. She screwed up Adam's trap (key went down the sink and she choked the life outta him) and just was a brutal killer from day one when it came to her traps. Jigsaw has picked two lousy apprentices. Both are just murderers with no feel for right or wrong. Hell, has Hoffman designed a trap YET that wasn't designed specifically to murder with no chance to survive?
